I rocked up to check into my apartment with my Trip booking confirmation. The nimrod behind the desk tells me “Sorry, we don’t usually take foreigners bookings through the platform” and then suggests maybe I should cancel the booking?!? What the hell?! I contacted Trip.com and got a customer rep ro speaks to her and explain how to process it. Was left standing there for 15 minutes in what should have been a 5 minute interaction.
If you are going to advertise on a huge platform like Trip, please ensure all staff are aware foreigners may stay at the hotel and not to be total pricks about it, or alternatively, remove your apartment off the platform altogether and lose business.
That said, I loved the cosy apartment which featured a fridge, AC and a washing machine and drying rack. The hotel is located on a the river a short stroll from the restaurant district and Rainbow Mall.

The location is not bad, but the hardware is too bad. It is the worst among all the places I have stayed in. The name is very loud and the quality is very low. The only saving grace is the enthusiastic service at the front desk, even if you want it delivered to your door, or you can get extra slippers for drinks. Water, etc. are all very convenient!

I personally prefer to live in an apartment, so I booked this one. It's quiet and has a large room. It's also relatively clean and tidy. The balcony has a great view. There's a high school across the street, and you can take a walk along the river downstairs. It's very nice!
