Guest UserThis is simply an esports paradise! The equipment is well-maintained and the place is spotless. The shower water pressure is great, and the rest area is very comfortable. It's perfect for team training camps or gatherings with friends; highly recommended.
From the lighting to the equipment, the professionalism is off the charts. The computers boot up quickly, all games are pre-installed, and the internet speed is excellent with no disconnections. The receptionists, Xiao Dong and Xiao Wang, even helped me set up my peripherals; their service was very attentive.

Guest UserThis was my first time staying in a hotel. The room smelled lovely when I first walked in. However, it was quite humid during my stay, so I kept the dehumidifier on. The lovely scent then mixed with a strange odor, but that's on me for not reporting it sooner. Occasionally, a cat would come up to my room. One of the staff members at the front desk was especially sweet and even complimented my bag charm. The hotel isn't far from the subway station, which made getting around really convenient for my three-day trip. I had a wonderful time! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai.

Cure Trip
Upon entering, the first thing I noticed was that the hallways didn't have air conditioning, even though it was still quite stuffy in the evening. The hotel uses a lot of carpeting and other fabric materials in the hallway decor. While this can help dampen noise, in hot, humid, and unventilated conditions, it easily leads to odors and mold. At the very least, during the rainy season, the dehumidifying AC in the hallways should be kept on.
Inside the room, some facilities were new, such as the TV, table and chairs, and electric kettle. However, it was clear that other facilities, like the air conditioning, were quite old. The AC, in particular, had an unbearable damp and moldy smell. I could only turn it on for a short period before having to switch it off. For guests sensitive to smells or with respiratory issues and allergies, this would likely be unacceptable. The bathroom also had a slight moldy smell and some drain odor. The exhaust fan was constantly on and couldn't be controlled by a switch, which I suppose is understandable given it's on the second floor.
The room's soundproofing was much better than the S-shaped bunk bed dorms, but the gap under the door was quite wide, so sounds from the hallway were clearly audible.
Additionally, public facilities like washing machines and dryers were not very comprehensive.
The hotel's advantages are its convenient location, not far from the subway (about a ten-minute walk), and easy access to buses. Most importantly, it offers excellent value for money and is in a good area, not far from Wukang Road and Jiaotong University. There are also Lawson, FamilyMart, and Domino's nearby. If you're looking for a private room with an en-suite bathroom while staying within budget, this is a suitable option. Yijian Senlin (One Forest) has been a long-standing youth hostel in Shanghai. I've always thought highly of it over the past seven or eight years. This was my first time staying in one of their private rooms with an en-suite, and I really hope Yijian Senlin continues to improve.

The location is super convenient, and overall, it's great value for money. They even have robots delivering food! However, the shower pipe clearly looks like it's been taken apart multiple times, which was a bit off-putting. Despite that, I'd still give this hotel a good rating.

Anonymous UserWe stayed at Oakwood Residence Shanghai for 7 nights as a family of six in a Three-Bedroom Deluxe apartment.
The location is very convenient and one of the best things about this property. The residence is directly connected to IMAGO shopping mall, where you can find a supermarket, cafés, restaurants, entertainment facilities, and some retail stores within the same complex.
Getting around Shanghai was easy. The property has direct access to Metro Line 14 via Exit/Entrance No. 9. There are also connections to Lines 3 & 4, although the interchange (line 3 & 4) requires a walk of approximately 700–800 meters. Popular attractions such as Nanjing Road are easily accessible by metro or by taxi, about 6–7 km away.
The Three-Bedroom Deluxe apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable for our family. The photos shown during booking matched the actual apartment we received at check-in. The attached photo was taken at check-out and shows the actual condition of the apartment after our stay.

The room was actually quite spacious and in a great location, but the bed was too old. I'm thin, and the springs inside felt uncomfortable against my back. The reception was on the second floor, and the escalator at the entrance was broken, so you had to take the stairs to the second floor, or go around to the elevator in the back parking lot, which wasn't very convenient. There was some noise from the subway passing by outside the window, and the window was very close to the bed, so it was a bit cool. Therefore, I chose to sleep on the other bed above.
