Hotels in Zhongshan Park Commercial Area, Shanghai

Overall, I liked the hotel. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The views from the windows were amazing (photos attached). The room has a kettle, fridge, ironing board and iron, umbrella, and safe. There's plenty of storage space. We were able to check in before 2 PM without any issues. On the downside, the furniture is really worn out, it was dusty, the mattresses were strange, and the pillows weren't great. There were four of us, but only three towels provided. Tip: Don't try to find the entrance through the shopping mall right away. Exit subway Green Line #2 at Exit #5, turn left, and walk around the exit. You'll see the entrance to the high-rise building (literally 50 steps away). At the entrance, there are elevators to the 25th floor, where the reception is. From reception, other elevators take you to the residential floors. Once you're familiar, you can use the mall entrance/exit if needed.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and the experience is still excellent. The room is always impeccably cleaned, and the facilities are regularly maintained with virtually no signs of wear and tear. The staff are consistently warm and attentive, promptly addressing any needs. The location is great, making getting around very convenient. The soundproofing in the rooms is reliable, ensuring an undisturbed rest. There are plenty of dining options nearby with a wide variety of cuisines. The public areas are well-kept, and the value for money remains consistent. This is definitely my go-to accommodation choice whenever I travel.

The place is close to Metrobank International Plaza where I have a business to attend to. It is also surrounded with banks, restaurants, convenient stores and fruit shops. Subway stations are a bit far but I don't mind as it just took me 10-20 minutes. Bed is comfy and I slept really well. But I suggest they should check their pipes coz I heard weird sounds from there.

Extremely satisfied! The room was clean and new, and the toiletries provided were excellent. They even had Little Prince-themed toothbrushes and toothpaste for the kids, which my child absolutely loved. The staff I encountered in the morning were also very friendly and greeted me warmly. The hotel's location is fantastic; it's right outside Exit 8 of Zhongshan Park Station on Line 2/8. It's also very close to Yuyuan Road, just across the street. There are tons of delicious takeaway options available nearby, and plenty of dining choices downstairs. We were going to Legoland the next day and didn't want to bring our big suitcases, so it was very convenient to store them and pick them up the following day. All in all, I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

This is a very unique hotel. The check-in staff were incredibly proactive and enthusiastic, and even upgraded my room. The room design was distinctive, with views of the Suzhou River. It was very clean, and they offered a good variety of drinks and water. The breakfast was also special; although not a huge selection, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. There's a shopping mall right next door, which made dining very convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

The room was incredible! We loved it. We had stayed here before when it was the New World Hotel. Everything was a big improvement except for the pool. This was very disappointing for us. There were only 6 chairs and we were told we couldn't move them into the sun. When I asked if I could lay my towel in the sun behind the lifeguard I was told I couldn't. Previously there were plenty of chairs. It wasn't a very welcoming feeling around the pool and if we were looking for a quick staycation weekend with a pool, we probably wouldn't choose this hotel again unfortunately.

The hotel is simple and clean! The location is excellent, and the service is five-star. The front desk staff really stood out. I love it here and have already signed up for a membership card. I've recommended it to all my friends who need a place to stay!

The front desk staff were very warm and helpful. Given our unique situation, traveling with a two-month-old baby, most of the front desk staff were very professional, efficient, and incredibly thoughtful. Ruby, and a male front desk staff member who assisted me over the phone, were both exceptionally good. The view from the window is fantastic, and the breakfast selection is wide. The value for money here is truly outstanding.

Good location next to Metro and huge Global Harbour shopping mall. Hotel is well-kept per expected Mercure standard, large in-room TV screen with lots of viewing channels. Excellent breakfast with many hot food choices. The housekeeping auntie (I think her name is 圣大姐) is very friendly and helpful, did our laundry (plus drying and folding) within a short few hours, so efficient, all complementary, very useful! The front office personnel are also very helpful! Will be back again next time we visit Shanghai.

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from the subway station, located on the fifth floor of a mall. It was my first time staying in a hotel within a shopping center. Everything, from the decor to the facilities, felt new. There were many staff members, and the service was good. For a solo traveler, a single room is more than enough. Downstairs, there's a Hema (supermarket), and across the street, there are old Shanghai eateries, so you'll have plenty of food options. The price was fantastic. Honestly, there's no need to spend more than 150 on an expensive hotel... It's all about value for money!
