Guest UserMy stay was absolutely fantastic! When I first checked in, there was an issue with the lights in my room. I contacted the front desk, and the staff were incredibly prompt and efficient in resolving it. They immediately arranged for a room change, and their attitude throughout was consistently gentle and patient, proactively and properly handling the problem. The room itself was clean and tidy, with excellent soundproofing and comfortable bedding. It was well-equipped, and the attention to service details was exceptional. The hotel environment was quiet and elegant, and its location made getting around very convenient. The staff never shirked their responsibilities and were highly efficient in their work. My entire experience was pleasant and reassuring. I will definitely choose Orange Crystal for my future travels and highly recommend it! Overall, it's a solid, top-notch experience!

TianfuzhiziThe hotel service is very good. As a budget hotel, it's a decent option for an occasional stay. The surrounding area is very convenient with easy access to supermarkets. It's also not far from the subway station. The service attitude is really great!!

The room was clean and hygienic, and there was a washer and dryer. It's very close to the subway, only about a 4-minute walk. It's very convenient and quick to get around. Great! I'd consider staying here again.

Cure Trip
Upon entering, the first thing I noticed was that the hallways didn't have air conditioning, even though it was still quite stuffy in the evening. The hotel uses a lot of carpeting and other fabric materials in the hallway decor. While this can help dampen noise, in hot, humid, and unventilated conditions, it easily leads to odors and mold. At the very least, during the rainy season, the dehumidifying AC in the hallways should be kept on.
Inside the room, some facilities were new, such as the TV, table and chairs, and electric kettle. However, it was clear that other facilities, like the air conditioning, were quite old. The AC, in particular, had an unbearable damp and moldy smell. I could only turn it on for a short period before having to switch it off. For guests sensitive to smells or with respiratory issues and allergies, this would likely be unacceptable. The bathroom also had a slight moldy smell and some drain odor. The exhaust fan was constantly on and couldn't be controlled by a switch, which I suppose is understandable given it's on the second floor.
The room's soundproofing was much better than the S-shaped bunk bed dorms, but the gap under the door was quite wide, so sounds from the hallway were clearly audible.
Additionally, public facilities like washing machines and dryers were not very comprehensive.
The hotel's advantages are its convenient location, not far from the subway (about a ten-minute walk), and easy access to buses. Most importantly, it offers excellent value for money and is in a good area, not far from Wukang Road and Jiaotong University. There are also Lawson, FamilyMart, and Domino's nearby. If you're looking for a private room with an en-suite bathroom while staying within budget, this is a suitable option. Yijian Senlin (One Forest) has been a long-standing youth hostel in Shanghai. I've always thought highly of it over the past seven or eight years. This was my first time staying in one of their private rooms with an en-suite, and I really hope Yijian Senlin continues to improve.

JidanxihongshijidanmianI arrived late, and the hotel called to confirm my arrival, which was a nice touch. Upon arrival, they upgraded my room, and the facilities far exceeded my expectations. It was incredibly good value for money! The room was very quiet, and I could even hear birds chirping outside in the morning. The front desk staff, especially the young man, was exceptionally professional and patient. Definitely a big thumbs up! 👍

The room is a bit small, the old one is understandable, but the bathroom smells so bad. I asked the front desk boss to solve it. There was a pit on the floor and the end of the bed collapsed. I lived in 309. The second floor is the bathroom. , Dissatisfied overall

Anonymous UserIf you are used to traveling in China, the room is just about acceptable. It was a Chinese student dormitory-level room, far from as clean as the photos on the website.
The website says the rooms are on the 16th, 19th, and 29th floors, but in reality they are on the 3rd to 30th floors, so we were assigned a room on the 10th floor.
The noise from lines 3 and 4 is loud, so if you are not used to it, it is best to avoid it.
We stayed for 4 nights and the towels were never changed, and the elevator to the entrance on the 2nd floor was broken both going up and down, so it was difficult to carry our luggage.
It was convenient that it was close to Exit 10 of Zhongshan Park.
