Beyond my expectations, I was very satisfied. I stayed for one night and bought two and a half-day tickets. No need to wake up early, I had a great time. I slept until I woke up naturally, had breakfast, and then slowly headed out. The front desk service was very attentive; the staff, both male and female, were all very thoughtful. The Woody and Donald Duck pancakes at breakfast were delicious. It's rare that the coffee wasn't bad, and the Mickey disposable coffee cup was a pleasant touch. My child and I both loved the complimentary luggage tag. If I had to pick two things that weren't satisfactory: 1. For a hotel at this price, it surprisingly didn't have a swimming pool. 2. I have to complain about their room service. After returning to the hotel from Disney, I was already very tired. I ordered a tomato seafood beef noodle for 118, and specifically called to ask for two sets of children's cutlery. They said it was all disposable and they would give me a few extra sets. However, when it was delivered to the room, they only gave two extra pairs of disposable chopsticks but no food containers. That was quite thoughtless.

Wonderful Family Stay with a Lovely Birthday Surprise! We had a wonderful stay at Novotel Shanghai Clover and really enjoyed our experience. My girls especially loved the hotel! A special thank you to the hotel team for preparing a lovely Hello Kitty-themed birthday surprise for my daughter’s early birthday celebration. The birthday pillow, balloons and beautiful birthday cake were such thoughtful touches and made her feel so special. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. ❤️ The hotel also provides complimentary shuttle bus services to Disneyland, The Bund and the airport, which made travelling around much more convenient for our family. Breakfast had a nice variety of choices, and there is also a kids’ play area which is great for families. They even have a kids’ makeover shop where children can dress up in princess and Disney-inspired themes — something little girls will definitely enjoy! Most importantly, the cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. The rooms and common areas were very clean and well maintained, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The only small point we felt could be improved was the room lighting, which was a little dim, Brighter or adjustable lighting would make the room even more comfortable. Overall, we had a very enjoyable and memorable stay. The thoughtful birthday surprise, family-friendly facilities, convenient shuttle services and excellent cleanliness made our experience even better. Would definitely recommend Novotel Shanghai Clover to families, especially those visiting Shanghai Disneyland. We would be happy to stay here again! ❤️

This hotel is perfect for a two-day stay, especially if you plan to spend about a day and a half at the theme park. The hotel's ferry service is incredibly convenient, particularly when the park closes. It usually waits for the last wave of guests around 10:10 PM, which is very thoughtful and comfortable. The hotel breakfast is excellent, with delicious mini wontons and desserts. The service is warm and friendly, and there are character interactions throughout the hotel, so you don't have to wait for meet-and-greets at the park. The only downside is that the garden rooms on the first floor can be a bit damp; I'd recommend staying on the second floor or higher.

I was very satisfied with my stay this time; it didn't disappoint. The room was clean and tidy, and the hygiene was impeccable; every corner was thoroughly cleaned. The bedding was spotless and soft, and the bathroom was meticulously cleaned. The room facilities were complete and in good working order; the air conditioning, lighting, and bathroom fixtures all functioned perfectly, making for a convenient and comfortable stay. The hotel's shuttle service was very thoughtful, offering round trips to Disneyland and Pudong Airport. After booking, the driver would wait punctually, reducing travel fatigue. The staff were friendly and humble, actively helping to coordinate and resolve any issues. This hotel is suitable for families visiting Disneyland or for an overnight stay during an airport transfer. The price is reasonable, and it's highly recommended.

The hotel is a good experience to feel the traditional old chinese vibes. Breakfast was okay. Fitness centre is interesting as it is huge and super well-equipped but it is not the normal 5 star hotel gym u’d expect as I think it is shared with local gym users. The receptionist Charles was really nice to help us with our lost luggage with the taxi. Unfortunately, the whole experience with the free photography wasn’t that pleasant. We were looking forward to take pictures at the hotel compound but the staffs looked really stressed and kept rushing us as they want to go home. They weren’t friendly and kept making ‘erghh’ noises while we were taking photos and that totally made me lose my mood. I would’ve enjoyed and took better photos and maybe considered buying photos if the experience were better. Again this is not really part of the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel itself was a really nice base for our Disneyland trip.

Was a bit confused initially but thereafter realised it was a spa hotel. This meant we needed to remove our shoes and out it into the lockers at the entrance. We were given a tag which gave us access to the hot spring, outdoor water play areas. The room itself was okay, although not much amenities are provided. No coffee or tea, just bottled water. There's a vending machine for you to purchase. It wasn't convenient not having a fridge inside the room. Breakfast was awful, to be honest. Presentation was great but the taste and variety was really not good. They don't provide coffee. Only tea and not so nice orange juice. Aside from the disappointing breakfast, the facilities are great for us. There's water playground that was quite fun. Outdoor hot spring (please bring Swimsuits and caps, otherwise you have to buy). The male and female hot springs are separate and you cannot wear anything. They only provide disposable underwear, hair ties, shampoo, conditioner, facial foam, toner and body lotion. Much less than other hot springs, less clean. However I was pleased with the variety of pools, tubs, and also strong water jets inside. There are many areas for resting outside - beanbag, massage chairs. Also there are payable children fishing game, sandplay, computer games and arcade. I liked their free Shuttle to disneyland (didn't use) and to airport (convenient) Overall pros and cons.

Shanghai Nous Lvmian Designer B&B near Disney – a real gem! The pure white cave-style design feels like staying in Santorini, with arch windows and a pool perfect for photos. The guest rooms feature suspended beds and skylights, offering a super romantic experience of stargazing from bed. The host provides thoughtful pick-up and drop-off service, and the breakfast is exquisite. It's a perfect blend of artistic flair and comfort – highly recommended for girlfriends and couples!

The hotel service was attentive and excellent, the owner was very kind, the rooms were warm and elegantly decorated, the bedding was comfortable, and the toiletries were of high quality. Cleanliness was meticulous, the public areas were spotless and tidy, and I had a very peaceful and relaxing time. The value for money was amazing, I highly recommend staying here! The price was also very reasonable, the rooms were spacious, the environment was great, food delivery was extremely convenient, and they even offered a Disney shuttle service. The owner was incredibly kind, patient, and provided excellent service! I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Disneyland.

The front desk staff were attentive and reliable, making check-in a breeze, and they were proactive in resolving any requests we had. The complimentary shuttle service to and from Disneyland was a thoughtful touch, making transport hassle-free. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the toiletries were high-quality, offering a great user experience. We also enjoyed the free massage chairs in the lobby, along with freshly ground coffee and daily brewed plum juice available at all times. On a night we returned late from the park, our clothes hadn't dried, and a staff member thoughtfully offered to dry and fold them for us. This level of detailed service truly made our stay exceptionally comfortable.

This was an absolutely wonderful hotel. The ambiance throughout the property was sophisticated, and the staff's service was meticulous, making my stay incredibly comfortable. What particularly stood out was the hot spring. The atmosphere was superb, and it felt like I was experiencing the luxury of a Japanese ryokan, even though I was abroad. I believe it's on par with the best ryokans in Japan. Among them, Mr. Gao's service was exceptional; he was incredibly attentive to every detail and escorted us with care throughout our stay. Thanks to him, it became an even more special and pleasant experience. The hotel's atmosphere, the hot spring, and the thoughtfulness of all the staff were all magnificent. It's definitely a hotel I would love to visit again.
