This hotel, near Fudan University, doesn't offer in-room dining, but it truly excels in every other aspect: environment, location, service, room quality, and cleanliness. I stayed here for 9 days this time and was genuinely sad to check out. **Location:** It's incredibly convenient for Fudan's School of Management, South Campus, North Campus, Main Campus, and Zhengda. Both Fudan University Metro Station and Guoquan Road Metro Station are close by. **Environment:** Clean, comfortable, and a quiet oasis despite being in a bustling area. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. **Room Facilities:** The space is adequate, with fairly standard amenities. There were a couple of downsides though: on the first day, the air conditioning in my 9th-floor room was faulty – I could only turn it on or off, not control the temperature, which made it very cold. This was resolved when I moved to the 12th floor. Also, the TV doesn't support screen mirroring, and there's no self-service laundry. **Breakfast:** The Suzhou-style noodles are delicious, and there's a good variety of other options. They're also very prompt in refilling the food. **Service:** Both the front desk and concierge staff were excellent. A special shout-out to the housekeeping on the 12th floor – they were incredibly diligent, tidy, and thorough. How can one find such a gentle and elegant auntie? HR really hit the jackpot with her! She is genuinely someone who loves cleanliness; even when I said cleaning wasn't necessary, she would still proactively clean the bathroom floor and bedroom carpet. She managed to do a fantastic job of cleaning without disturbing the disinfection I had already done. When hiring, you really should look for people who are naturally meticulous about cleanliness.

My stay here far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. It boasts a great terrace with views of the subway and a park, making getting around incredibly convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The front desk staff were efficient and professional during check-in; I got my room card very quickly. There's even a piano in the lobby! The room was spacious with efficient air conditioning and a private bathroom. It was clean and tidy, and the mattress was comfortably soft. If you forget any toiletries, the front desk provides a full range of complimentary items. The security guard was exceptionally kind to guests, helping us open doors and carry luggage. Overall, the atmosphere felt warm and comfortable. What's more, there's a free gym, a home theater room, and a huge communal kitchen. I even saw someone with a pet, so it's pet-friendly too! To stay in such an apartment in Shanghai for just over 100 RMB is incredible value for money. I genuinely recommend this hotel!

Before check-in, the butler contacted me in advance, and knowing we had a baby, they arranged an early check-in. Butler Serein was very thoughtful. We chose the Hyatt Regency Wujiaochang to visit relatives nearby. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, and both kids had a great time. The swimsuits could be spin-dried after use, so they dried quickly in the room, which was quite convenient. The room was very unique, a corner room with a great view of the bustling city.

The room itself was great in all aspects, except for the lighting at the vanity mirror in the bathroom. It was top-down lighting and quite dim, making it impossible to do makeup. Everything else was fantastic! The breakfast was also rich and varied, making it worth a return visit. The location is convenient, the room is clean, and the facilities are complete, offering an excellent experience. It will be my top choice next time, and I highly recommend it.

The service was absolutely fantastic. The room service, the food, the gym, the breakfast, the checkout. The only thing I didn't anticipate was that about 50% of the staff at the reception couldn't speak English. Usually, they either called another colleague after I spoke and later realised none of it was understood, or a Chinese speaking guest nearby served as an interpreter. But even though this once resulted in a mistake, it was remedied with efficiency and professionalism I'd never seen before.

This hotel is perfectly located in the Wujiaochang business district, surrounded by plenty of shopping and dining options. Getting around is super convenient with nearby subway and bus access. The bathroom facilities are fully equipped. The front desk staff and restaurant auntie were very welcoming and friendly. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again.

The room is quite spacious, and the mattress and pillows are very comfortable. It's clean and tidy. The bath towels and hand towels are individually packed after sterilization, which gives peace of mind. I also tried the black tea provided in the room, and it was of excellent quality. After 9:30 PM, there's complimentary self-service congee, which is a very thoughtful touch. The hotel is conveniently located a 10-minute walk from a Line 10 subway station and is very close to Wujiaochang Wanda Plaza. It's a great choice!

Home Inn Selected was a convenient and comfortable choice for our stay in Shanghai, especially as it was located very close to our friend’s home. The hotel is also only around a 5-minute walk from the underground/metro station, making it very easy to travel around the city and visit Shanghai’s main tourist attractions. The room itself was clean, tidy, and suitable for a comfortable stay, and the hotel offered good value as a budget-friendly option in such a busy city. There was a slight lingering smoke smell in parts of the room/building from previous guests smoking, but aside from that, our overall experience was positive. The staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, particularly when assisting us with extending our booking for an additional night at a very reasonable price, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, this is a solid and convenient budget hotel for anyone looking for a good base while exploring Shanghai, especially with such easy metro access. We would happily consider staying here again in the future.

I was stranded in Shanghai due to a typhoon and couldn't fly out, but thankfully I was staying at a hotel I've used many times before. I ended up staying an extra two or three days, and it was still great. The downside was that the internet was down for several hours in the morning and was very slow to recover. However, I understand it was an issue with the service provider, so the hotel shouldn't be penalized for that. After the internet was restored, they also called me right away yesterday. Still a full 5-star rating!

The hotel's location is super convenient, right by Tongji University. The room design is very stylish, and the bedding is really comfortable. It's also easy to get a taxi to the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. It perfectly avoids the hustle and bustle of the city, and there are many late-night Japanese eateries nearby that I've saved for next time. I'll definitely stay here again!
