Hotels in Wujiaochang Commercial Area, Shanghai

A great hotel for a decent price. UrCove by HYATT hotels are always quite nice and clean for even a couple of nights stay. The location of this one is also great, being right next to one of the biggest mall complexes I experienced and a great metro connection to the most famous spots in the city (although you probably have to cut through the mall or go around it to get to the metro entrance).

My stay here far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. It boasts a great terrace with views of the subway and a park, making getting around incredibly convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The front desk staff were efficient and professional during check-in; I got my room card very quickly. There's even a piano in the lobby! The room was spacious with efficient air conditioning and a private bathroom. It was clean and tidy, and the mattress was comfortably soft. If you forget any toiletries, the front desk provides a full range of complimentary items. The security guard was exceptionally kind to guests, helping us open doors and carry luggage. Overall, the atmosphere felt warm and comfortable. What's more, there's a free gym, a home theater room, and a huge communal kitchen. I even saw someone with a pet, so it's pet-friendly too! To stay in such an apartment in Shanghai for just over 100 RMB is incredible value for money. I genuinely recommend this hotel!

This is my second stay at Rezen. The room was very clean, which is my top priority when choosing a hotel. The first room I had was a bit noisy with doors opening and closing frequently outside. I reported it to the front desk, and the lady there immediately offered a solution and moved me to another room. Thumbs up for that! Other services, like water delivery, were also handled promptly by the staff. If I have the chance, I'll definitely choose Rezen again and recommend it to my family and friends 👫

The curtains don't close properly, letting light in. It's so noisy! Extremely noisy! I could clearly hear water running and people talking in the rooms on both sides. Someone was also smoking in the next room, and the secondhand smoke drifted over. What's most infuriating is that the 5th floor of the hotel is under renovation. The front desk sign stated that there would be no loud noise on weekdays from 12-2 PM, after 6 PM, and on holidays. Yet, on Saturday at 12:30 PM, the drilling started. When I complained to the front desk, they said it's a commercial building and they're allowed to renovate. I mean, seriously?? Is your front desk notice just for show?? After multiple complaints, they finally said they wouldn't work at noon, but then it started again at 2:30 PM. I originally booked this hotel to escape my own home renovations, and now I'm stuck in such a noisy hotel. It's truly infuriating!

Clean and good service. The surrounding area has convenient amenities and transportation. The only downsides are the lack of an elevator and the rooms are a bit too dense, like a maze. But for just over a hundred (yuan/dollars), it's pretty good! I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area. This was the first time I've ever slept until 9:30 AM in a hotel, I overslept!

The room was very clean and tidy, which was great. The front desk staff were polite and provided attentive, thoughtful service. The facilities are quite new and the location is easy to find. The environment is pleasant and I was very satisfied with the service. It's right downstairs from my friend's place. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but it's very convenient, with plenty of snacks available right outside.

I came to Shanghai for business this time, and the most pleasant surprise was choosing the right hotel! 😊 The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and the soundproofing was excellent. Even though I usually have trouble sleeping in new places, I slept soundly all night. From the window, I could see the old Shanghai streetscape, which was especially charming in the evening. I particularly want to commend the front desk staff (the young lady/gentleman). Their attitude was super nice! Seeing I was traveling alone, they proactively recommended some delicious local noodle shops nearby and even advised me on transportation routes. It was really heartwarming~ 💛 The value for money is outstanding. For this location, this service, and this level of cleanliness, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai and will recommend it to my friends! All in all, a five-star recommendation, you can't go wrong with this choice! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The location is super convenient, with a dual-line subway station right downstairs, making it easy to get anywhere. It's also very close to the Wujiaochang commercial area, so there are tons of takeaway options, and delivery is fast. The hotel environment and interior design are excellent 👍 and the service is incredibly warm. The breakfast selection is rich and varied.

10/2025 - I brought my relatives to Ramada Wujiaochang Shanghai for staying here because this hotel has the best price and performance ratio in that area at $78 for a suite, including two buffet breakfast and tax, no tip in China. We enjoy the area for shopping and dining, especially across the hotel, you can find a delicious bowl of vegetable wontons soup at $2.00 (15 RMB) including tax vs. approximately $20 in Los Angeles after Tax + Tip! If you like Chinese medicine for a special area treatment, a 北京同仁堂 is just across the hotel. The hotel has been continuing to renovate guestrooms slowly. Staying at a 9th floor might be your best choice because all guestrooms were remodeled 5 years ago with a Biden Toilet. The subway #10 is just a walking distance from the hotel. If you like to visit the Pudong, you can consider to take a new subway line #18 for just a one-seat ride, but a 20 minutes walk or take a taxi at $2.00 to the subway. 2019 - This is my third time to stay at RAMADA SHANGHAI Wujiaochang. I am glad that the hotel is now going through a remodeling construction phase. The 3rd and 5th floors are at the reconstruction at the moment. The hotel has a all-you-can-eat morning buffet with 30 different items at $7 (50 RMB) per person, which can satisfy most common visitors. A walking distance to the subway line 10 is not far, which usually takes 10 minutes. From the subway station, you can visit a newly opened underground plaza where 13 exits are available.

I stayed at Weting Hotel for my exam, and the location was incredibly convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff thoughtfully arranged a room facing the green belt, which was relatively quiet. The front desk service was attentive and thorough, and it offered great value for money. Staying here while preparing for my exam gave me peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone coming to take an exam!
