Hotels in Kangqiao, Nanhui Area, Shanghai

I wouldn't really recommend this room type. The room was a bit dirty, with noticeable stains on the carpet on the second floor and dust on the stairs. The ceiling on the first floor had a lot of uneven patches. The towels were old and had a musty smell. However, the airport shuttle service was excellent; it's only a ten-minute drive to Pudong Airport, and there's a shuttle every half hour. The breakfast was decent, and you could also order dinner à la carte, which tasted pretty good. There aren't many takeout options nearby.

The hotel is quite close to Disneyland, though the location is a bit secluded. Luckily, they offer a shuttle service to the metro station, so getting around isn't much of a worry. The rooms themselves are really unique; the hotel is made up of 9 villas, and each room is inside one of these villas. There aren't many rooms on each floor, which makes it incredibly quiet and comfortable – you don't hear any outside noise. The curtains and bedding are also good. It's about a 15-16 minute journey to Disneyland.

Our stay in the family room was fantastic. The environment was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet in the morning was absolutely perfect. It was also incredibly quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep. Plus, there's a fun kids' playground and recreational facilities, and even a Disney gift shop. We'll definitely choose Rezen again next time!

We brought our kids to Shanghai's various theme parks, and friends recommended the HEYITANG Hotel, which truly exceeded our expectations. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Huinan Metro Station and offers free shuttle buses directly to Disneyland, the Wild Animal Park, and Haichang Ocean Park. This made traveling with kids absolutely stress-free, with no need to worry about taxis. We stayed in a family room which featured a bunk bed with a slide and a kids' tent. All the smart devices in the room were easy to operate, and the room was spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the soundproofing was excellent. On the third floor, there's a free indoor kids' playground that our children loved visiting every day. The hotel provides a rich buffet breakfast, and they even offer thoughtful late-night snacks. Additionally, there's a self-service laundry room and complimentary foot bath tubs to help alleviate travel fatigue. The front desk staff were kind and patient, making the check-in process efficient, and they even thoughtfully gave little snacks to the children. With its comprehensive facilities, meticulous service, and excellent value for money, this hotel is our top choice for family trips. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Shanghai.

The environment is quiet and the hygiene is excellent. The room has great natural light and ventilation. The staff are friendly and thoughtful, and it offers great value for money. I had a very comfortable stay. The room is spacious and bright, and the bed is very comfortable. The location is good, with plenty of amenities nearby, making it convenient for getting around. The service is attentive, and the overall experience was perfect.

A very comfortable courtyard; it's rare to find such accommodation in Shanghai. The facilities inside were excellent, the only downside being the automatic toilet, which was too automatic and often flipped up, making a noise. The courtyard is located on the south side of the ancient town, a remarkably quiet and elegant place (compared to the bustling main street to the north). There are many charming courtyard-style cafes and teahouses nearby, and it's very close to Nanshan Mountain. The breakfast was good; the side dishes and the small glutinous rice with yam were delicious! Finally, I must mention the service of the guesthouse staff—they were courteous, attentive, and very responsive. I'd consider staying here again when spring arrives and the flowers are in bloom.

This is the first time I’ve ever written such a long review, simply because I loved this place so much! Since my trip included a visit to Disneyland, when I saw and booked this guesthouse on Trip.com, I immediately felt confident that I made the right choice. And indeed, the moment I stepped in, I was amazed by its architectural design. The building looks like a cube of cheese, with a pure white exterior that is both unique and beautiful. Although it is a guesthouse, the facilities and services are far beyond many five-star hotels. The swimming pool is great, and sitting by the poolside was so relaxing. The front desk staff helped us check in very quickly and kindly told us that the pastries at the counter and the drinks in the fridge were complimentary. He even helped carry our luggage upstairs, which was very thoughtful. They also once arranged a free private car service for us, which made our travel even more convenient. When we entered the room, it was another pleasant surprise. The design was stylish, and the view from the window was breathtaking blue skies and lush green fields that made us feel completely at ease. If you want to order food delivery but don’t have a local phone number, you can simply ask the housekeeper for assistance. In the evening, they even prepared a lovely goodnight dessert, and the next morning, breakfast was served. Before 7:30, there were milk and sandwiches; after 7:30, a full Chinese breakfast with porridge, buns, shumai, dumplings, and more incredibly generous and delicious. If I ever return to Shanghai, I would definitely come back here again! Many thanks to the front desk staff, the housekeeper, and all the team members for their warmth and thoughtfulness, which truly made us feel at home.

This hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from Guangming Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. At 100 yuan a night, it even includes two breakfasts! It's such a great deal and offers excellent value for money. I'm planning a longer stay, and this place is just perfect because of its unbeatable value. 👍👍👍

This newly opened five-star hotel near Shanghai Disneyland isn't too far away. As someone with consistently high standards for hotels, I can say my actual stay exceeded expectations in terms of experience and comfort. The amenities are also quite good; the playground on the second floor and some of the restaurants on the first floor are all great. There's also an outdoor infinity pool and a laundry room with dryers on the second floor. The lady who helped with our laundry was so kind; she washed, dried, and folded our clothes and delivered them to our room, which saved us a lot of time. The value for money is outstanding. The hotel's lighting at night is beautiful. We went to the bar for a drink, and the prices were decent, with good quality spirits. As someone who drinks regularly, I could tell it was a good drink, definitely worth a visit. It's also convenient for Disneyland, just a 20-minute drive, and the hotel offers a shuttle service. For this price and this room, it's incredibly good value.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shanghai Joy International Resort Hotel (Wild Animal Park). The biggest surprise was that we were upgraded to a suite, and the room was huge, modern, and very comfortable for our family. The beds were cozy, the room was clean, and everything felt quite new and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. One thing we really appreciated was the hotel’s family-friendly atmosphere. The kids’ play area, late-night snacks, and the convenient shuttle services to nearby attractions made the stay very relaxing and easy with children. Breakfast also had a good variety of Chinese and Western options. We can understand why many Trip.com reviews praise the spacious rooms, attentive service, cleanliness, and shuttle services to Disneyland and Shanghai Wild Animal Park. The only downside for us was that the hotel is quite far from the main city center, so travelling into central Shanghai takes time. Apart from the location, everything else about the stay was excellent, and we would happily stay here again, especially for families visiting the Wild Animal Park or Disneyland.
