I recently stayed at this hotel for my trip in Shanghai, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-designed, with a very comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, especially at the front desk.
The location was perfect—just a short walk from restaurants and shopping areas.
Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Special thanks to Lynn, Vivian, Minnie, and Lily for their excellent service. In the evenings, they'd ask if we wanted turndown service, and at noon, if we needed laundry done. The overall service is truly outstanding. I especially loved the breakfast; it had a great variety and tasted delicious. This is my second trip to Shanghai in two months, and both times I've chosen the Pudong Shangri-La. The location is super convenient, very close to the metro station, and near Super Brand Mall and IFC. It's perfect for both shopping and dining.

Very nice hotel with good friendly staff. They offer free delivery and help to store your Taobao packages. The free breakfast every morning is very delicious with various cuisine selections.
The location is very convenient too. Right in the city center and easy to call didi as well as metro which is right across. The bicycles are parked right in front as well so you can rent them.
Free water and snacks are given everyday too. Will definitely recommend this place if you were to stay in Shanghai.

I've stayed at the Grand Hyatt Jin Mao multiple times, and I truly love this hotel in Lujiazui! Even though it's an older hotel that's been open for many years, the rooms are exceptionally well-maintained and preserved; you can't see any signs of aging! The room amenities are comprehensive, and both the bedding and toiletries are excellent. The bath products are Balmain, which are really good! This time, Ivy, the guest experience ambassador at Jin Mao, proactively contacted me before my check-in to ask about my preferences and even upgraded me to a Club River View room. I'm so grateful for her thoughtful and meticulous service! The room directly faces the Lujiazui Financial Center, and with the river view, you can clearly see the Oriental Pearl Tower. Both the night view and the daytime scenery are absolutely stunning! The Executive Lounge's afternoon tea starts at noon, and while the selection isn't huge, the evening Happy Hour is truly fantastic. The food is abundant and delicious, and it lasts a long time, from 5 PM to 8 PM! I absolutely adore the hotel's breakfast buffet. Although I missed it on my first day back in China due to jet lag, on the second day, I spent a full two hours savoring the lavish breakfast! The breakfast is divided into Chinese and Western sections. Personally, I think the Western section has a better view as it faces the river and the Oriental Pearl Tower directly, but both Chinese and Western dishes are incredibly plentiful and taste great. The breakfast on the 56th floor was so good that I didn't even bother to check out the breakfast at the Club Lounge! The hotel's location is superb; not only is it in the heart of Lujiazui, but the subway station is also right on the B1 level. It's also very convenient to take a taxi to various attractions and shopping malls in Puxi! A special thank you to the concierge department this time. My suitcase broke during my last stay at Jin Mao a week ago, forcing me to buy a new one at a mall on Nanjing Road. Since I was rushing to go abroad at the time, I had to leave my old suitcase with the concierge. I only picked it up again from the concierge a week later after returning from my trip abroad. I'm truly grateful to the concierge staff! Both this stay and my previous one, the hotel was fully booked, and almost all the guests were foreigners, with very few domestic tourists. Yet, even with such tight room availability, the hotel still reserved my preferred room type for me, which I truly appreciate! Overall, I highly recommend staying at Grand Hyatt Jin Mao! The location is super convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. The rooms are clean, tidy, and refreshing, and the beautiful views are incredibly therapeutic. It's perfect for both relaxation and enjoying the scenery!

The room was immaculate, and the overall environment was charming. It featured a kitchen, perfect for whipping up a quick breakfast. Its location right next to a shopping mall with a large supermarket was incredibly convenient! On the fifth floor, there's also an open-air garden offering breathtaking night views of Shanghai. Plus, I received a complimentary upgrade to a suite this time, which was incredibly comfortable. Thumbs up! 👍

We stayed at the executive lounge and is genuinely one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. The room was flawless, the staff despite the language barrier were incredibly lovely and kind and the view we had of the city was like no other. Breakfast was very nice and is a close distance to any of the major tourist attractions. We will certainly return back him when we come back to Shanghai!

We chose The Ritz-Carlton to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary and were thoroughly impressed with everything. Although the hotel is a bit older, the facilities are very well maintained. We booked a Pearl Room, and the front desk assigned us a fantastic room with a direct view of the Oriental Pearl Tower – it was incredible to see it so up close! The location is also superb, right in the heart of Lujiazui, with convenient access to IFC for dining and shopping downstairs. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep.
Upon checking in, we mentioned it was our anniversary. Later that evening, we found a lovely small setup in our room, along with a complimentary cake and champagne – a very thoughtful gesture! A special thank you to Jessi from Guest Services for taking such great care of our child, even preparing drawing paper and kid's amenities. After dinner, our child enjoyed a swim in the pool, while we adults relaxed with drinks at Flair in the evening.
Furthermore, while the breakfast didn't offer the widest variety I've ever seen, it was by far the most exquisite. They even peeled and sliced pomelo and oranges for you – who does that?! You absolutely must try the potstickers; they're so juicy! There was a foreign female manager who was constantly attending to guests during breakfast, proactively asking about the food and helping clear plates. All the staff had smiles on their faces – I truly loved it!

The ambiance here is beyond words; staying was an absolute delight. The room was exceptionally spacious, and the bed was massive. Service was excellent, facilities were top-notch, and even the bathtub was more comfortable than any I've experienced elsewhere.
My only minor complaint is that you can't roll your luggage directly to the entrance due to a few steps, so you have to carry it up yourself. Unfortunately, there was no one from the hotel to assist.
Despite that, I was very satisfied with this stay and have already recommended it to friends who are visiting Shanghai in a few days.
The location is absolutely fantastic: it's just a few minutes' walk from the Oriental Pearl Tower, right next to the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel, and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is directly opposite. Super convenient!
It's especially convenient for families with elderly members or young children, as it saves a lot of walking.

I chose this hotel for my business trip because of its great value for money. The environment is pleasant, and there are plenty of dining options downstairs, which is very convenient!

The hotel is very well located, very close to the metro station, with several dining options in the vicinity, which is very convenient. The staff is very friendly.
The facilities are fine, the room is very nice, very spacious, clean, and has good amenities. In addition, I was able to use the washing machines and gym for free without any problems. Breakfast is a buffet, varied, and has several options for Westerners as well.
Personally, what I didn't like is that all the time, when I left my room, I saw all the garbage and clutter from when they cleaned other rooms, which wasn't very nice. I show it in the photos. Also, the coffee and tea offered in the room were all expired. I noticed after trying one, and it tasted very bad.
In short, the hotel is fine for the price you pay; it would simply be better if those details were corrected.

ZZhongjinshudamengziThe hotel's location is superb, just a stone's throw from the subway station, with a plethora of dining options nearby for both breakfast and other meals. The male staff member's service attitude was particularly commendable. The in-room refrigerator and ample supply of fruits and water made the entire stay incredibly comfortable. This place is clearly a cut above the Ji Hotel I've stayed at before. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

MM861740****I booked online. After checking in and settling into the room, I was pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness. The view from the window was lovely, with green trees and Shanghai's classic red-brick houses in the background. While enjoying the AC and watching TV, I'd often glance up to see the trees swaying gently in the breeze, which brought a profound sense of peace and tranquility. Because the hotel is nestled within a residential compound, it was incredibly quiet at night, ensuring a truly restful sleep. I woke up feeling completely refreshed in the morning. Absolutely fantastic!

AAnonymous UserThe lady at the front desk was incredibly warm and friendly. She even upgraded us to a twin room for free since one was available. The room itself was very clean and tidy. They provide fresh disposable slippers, toothbrushes, and combs every day. Plus, you can store your luggage for free, and there's a self-service kitchen if you need to heat anything up. The hotel's right outside a subway station, so getting around is super convenient, and there are breakfast spots nearby too. It was excellent! I'll definitely book here again if I get the chance!

LllilykangnianFor my birthday🎂 this year, I chose to stay at J Hotel Shanghai Tower🏨. Firstly, it's the highest hotel in the world, and secondly, I've already checked off two of Shanghai's 'Three Sisters' hotels – Park Hyatt and Grand Hyatt Jin Mao – so this time I absolutely had to experience the tallest one🏨.
A day before check-in, the butler called☎️ to discuss my room preferences. Knowing it was for a birthday, the hotel arranged a small birthday cake🎂, a card, and some fruit🫐🍇 in my room, which was very much appreciated😊.
The room itself is quite spacious, but the view felt a bit ordinary. There's a noticeable distance between the room and the outer glass, and due to the double-layered glass, the city lights at night appeared rather dim. For sunrise🌅 and sunset🌄 views, you can head to the Tian Zhi Jin restaurant on the 120th floor, where the view is much better👍.
The bathroom features a double vanity, and there's a TV📺 above the bathtub🛁 so you can watch while soaking. The shower room has a long bench design, suitable for elderly guests🧼. All the toiletries are Diptyque, which I really like, and the hairdryer is a Xiaomi. The walk-in closet is also spacious enough. In the mini-bar, everything except the liquor🍾, chocolates🍫, and snacks is complimentary, and you can even take home anything you don't finish! There's also a capsule coffee machine with three different coffee☕️ flavors to choose from, and a wide variety of tea bags.
The turndown service was excellent; a bathmat and slippers were placed by the bed, and two bottles of water were left on each side of the headboard. Each room comes with a mini iPad to control services, lighting, and curtains. I particularly loved the square room key card and asked to keep it as a souvenir when checking out✌🏻.
Breakfast is served on the 101st floor🍽️. I found a window seat and enjoyed a leisurely meal. It's a semi-buffet style; you can order from the menu or help yourself from the buffet. The selection is very rich, and the freshly squeezed juice bottles are beautiful😻. Both Chinese and Western breakfast options are generally well-covered😌.
After check-out, in-house guests can report their license plate and room number at the concierge desk on the first floor for free parking🅿️.

MM296296****✨Found a gem in Shanghai! I'm absolutely locking down eLong An Yun! 🔒
The moment I opened the door, the room was so clean it practically gleamed! The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom are a dream for germaphobes 🚿. The marble walls look so chic and are easy to clean, and the solid wood hangers feel substantial – a true delight for detail-oriented guests! 🤩
One morning I forgot my room card, and the front desk lady smilingly replaced it and even recommended some amazing local eateries. When the cleaning auntie tidied the room, she even neatly coiled my charging cable that I'd just tossed aside – the service here is just impeccable!
Free mineral water, a wall-mounted TV to save space, and a small table and chair set-up make it so comfortable for lounging on my phone or even doing some impromptu work that I didn't want to leave. It has a cozy, understated vibe, and after staying here, it's immediately going on my list of regular spots in Shanghai!

MM327660****The environment is great, and the hotel facilities are all new. The only minor issue was that the shower's hot water wasn't continuous, but it didn't really affect my overall positive experience. There are many other good reviews, and it's very close to the subway station, making transportation convenient. Plus, there are a lot of great food options right next to the hotel.

1109332****The location is excellent, just a 3-minute walk from Metro Line 9 and a 10-minute walk from Line 2, making transportation very convenient. It's right next to Lujiazui Center, so ordering coffee in the morning is super fast. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the rooms have no strange smells. The bedding and everything else are up to the uniform standards of all Ji Hotels, which perfectly suits my travel needs. I'll definitely choose this Ji Hotel on Shangcheng Road again next time.

AAnonymous UserThe room is small, but fine for a one-night stay. There are sometimes odors in the room, like toilet or cooking fumes. The soundproofing is definitely poor, depending on who lives next door. Since it's located near a side street, residential area, and park, I didn't hear any noise.
