Hotels in Hongqiao Airport/National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai

The room was very clean with a great view from the large window. The front desk staff provided excellent service; they even offered a late check-out due to my flight delay, which was very thoughtful. The hotel's location is also superb, very quiet, and just a block away from a night market, supermarket, and other convenient shopping options.

The room was bright, and the location was excellent. Yumi provided great service, and communication was easy and pleasant. The room was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. I would choose this place again next time. Highly recommended.

We arrived very late and the check out was very fast, which was a relieve, the next we needed to leave, so we checked out and, since we took some time to explore a bit, the staff was nice enough to store our luggage. The room was clean and spacious; I would definitely stay here again if needed

I was sent to Shanghai on a last-minute business trip by my company and just picked a hotel randomly upon arrival. To my surprise, it turned out to be really good value for money! When I checked in, the lady at the front desk even upgraded my room for free, which made my stay very comfortable. The room was clean, and the hotel environment was excellent. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. I also have to commend the lady who was on the night shift yesterday. I didn't bring enough clothes and needed help with laundry. She didn't mind at all, washed them for me, and even brought them back up. I'm really grateful 😊 Next time I come to Shanghai, I'll definitely recommend this hotel to my colleagues too! 👍

As an interior designer, I really appreciate the large desk by the window and the comfortable office chair, especially for someone who spends a lot of time working at a computer. The size is thoughtfully designed, making it very comfortable to use without getting tired from sitting for long periods. The king-size bed faces the fair-faced concrete exhibition building, and the sunlight streams onto the desk, creating a very peaceful atmosphere. The bedding is excellent, allowing for a truly restful sleep. The overall design shows a great sense of balance and proportion. Everything feels just right.

The Hotel has 3 towers in total and is very close to Hongqiao Railway station and airport . Pro: they serve breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner buffet( with happy hour with alcohol) as compared to other hotels who only provide breakfast buffet for the price. Cons: 1) NO INROOM DINING AND NO MINIBAR. I don’t know why is it difficult to provide these basic amenities despite being and IHG hotel . 2) Also their king size beds are actually queen size , the king premium room assigned was with queen bed and less carpet area. 3) The noise insulation is very weak and I could hear if someone using bathtub or coffee machine, or talking outside my room very clearly . Perhaps hotel can improve on that . 4) The WiFi is very slow and under performative . It needs serious improvement . I gave this rating due to 3 buffets they provide in same price rest is pretty basic for an IHG hotel but no inroom dining and absence of minibar was a major let down from crownplaza. I don’t know why . 😓

The hotel's location is good, quite close to Hongqiao Station. However, the immediate vicinity is a bit desolate; the Xiexin Xingguanghui mall downstairs has already closed down. If you want to eat out, you'll need to go to Hongqiao Tiandi or Longhu Tianjie. The breakfast is quite generous, and the wontons are delicious.

The location is excellent; it's within walking distance from Hongqiao Station. The hotel environment is very good, and there are plenty of amenities nearby. Highly recommended.

This hotel is incredibly close to the airport terminal, yet it's surprisingly quiet both day and night – you can't hear the roar of planes taking off or landing! The entire hotel is very clean and the facilities are excellent. When checking in, the front desk staff in the lobby on the first floor were warm and efficient, especially the handsome guy with curly hair who was incredibly hospitable and even gave my child a small gift. What really touched me was that on my first night, I did some laundry, and when I returned the next evening, I found a small packet of laundry detergent in the bathroom and extra hangers in the wardrobe. I'm truly grateful for the thoughtful and considerate service from the hotel staff! Dining here is also worry-free, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets available. Our breakfast was included, but lunch and dinner buffets were an additional charge. The main dishes, food, and fruits for all three meals were diverse and quite tasty, offering good value for money. Overall, I'm very satisfied! It's a shame that I didn't have time to try the hotel's business afternoon tea buffet because I was out playing with my child all afternoon, but I hope to experience it next time! The front desk service was excellent, and that alone deserves a good review! The cleanliness was decent, and you can tell the owner is a fan of traditional Chinese medicine. I do have a few small suggestions. For the bathroom, consider where guests should put their towels and clothes when showering. It wasn't an issue for me since I was alone, but it would be pretty awkward if I had company – are we supposed to put our clothes on the toilet lid? Also, it's a bit disappointing that screen mirroring only supports ** and iQiyi. It would be much better if it supported more apps.
