location is very good that it is near by nanjing street while away from noisy crowd. As per taxi driver. Every nite is jam this area, so if you want to go out pls go by metro. Hotel room is ok size, enough for 2 adults 2 kids. You will be able to see d shopping street from hotel room. Check in process is seamless, u can order delivery n d robot will send food to your hotel room. Overall stay experience is good.

The location of the hotel is not close to the famous attractions, however, the metro station is about 7 min walk and can take metro to many attractions but would take about 20 min. The Holiday Inn Vista hotel is dated and could use a renovation as it shows its age. When we checked in, the front desk manager was friendly and helpful. However, there were a few incidents really disappointing. 1. Since we used eSIM and didn’t have a local phone number and couldn’t register for local map app and other useful apps to find restaurants, malls and landmarks. We inquired about the directions and attractions with front desk staff, and some were friendly and helpful but others were rude and irritated with us. Believe me, we are very polite guests and always thank them for their help. 2. A local friend tried to arrange a diner with us and had called the hotel multiple times and either couldn’t get through or was told that they couldn’t transferred the phone call to our room. After receiving text messages from our friend, we called the front desk and asked when our friend call, please transfer the call to our room. We were told that hotel guests can only dial out and can’t revive calls from outside. That made no sense at all, then we asked to be transferred to the front desk and was told the front desk staff was busy and we should call back in 20 min 3. This is a 20+ story hotel and they only have two sets of washer and dryer. This is simply not adequate to serve hundreds of hotel guests. Granted, the hotel offers laundry services but prices are really expensive. Done hotel guests did their laundry in the washer and left for hours and other guests simply can’t use the washer.. we stayed at the hotel six nights and wanted to do laundry before coming home, and didn’t get to finish laundry until 2:30am. We had stayed at other cities, and no other hotels offer washers and dryers onsite so I probably shouldn’t complain. 4. TV is really small (40”?) with very limited channels. It was difficult to watch TV in bed so we didn’t watch TV for Six nights. For what we had paid, I believe we could have found a better or newer hotel somewhere else in Shanghai.

Excellent hotel, staff is so nice and accomodating, rooms very spacious and clean. Breakfast was great, had many options. We had a great stay, thank you! Oh and theres a pool which was very nice for the kids.

Fantastic stay here. Nearby got seven 11, 2 family marts and many local restaurants nearby. Shanghai 1192 is just nearby shopping mall can be reach by 15 mins walk. Good spots for photoshoot.

The hotel manager, Clement, was incredibly kind and attentive to our needs. He promptly and efficiently addressed all of our needs. The hotel's facilities were impressive, especially the pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The amenities matched the descriptions on the website and in our booking, and we were even greeted with a refreshing welcome drink. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean. The hotel's service was exceptional, and our entire experience was fantastic.

A good hotel to stay for business traveller ... a friendly staff at front desk and cafe crews.. Breakfast selection is good .. A good place to stay with many malls around and a good meeting space

It was a very good stay in the hotel. Their response is good. They helped in all the aspects when i asked. their cleanliness was also good. I stayed with my family and kid in one room for 3 nights in queen bed room. It was awesome. I will recommend others to stay here. it is safe and near to any famous place to visit.

The room was very clean and tidy, and the front desk service was really great. Especially the male front desk staff who worked on the night of September 14 and September 16, not only helped me upgrade the room type for free, but also gave me two mooncakes when I extended my stay on the Mid-Autumn Festival. I was really touched. During the period, I couldn't connect to the wifi and asked the front desk to help solve the problem, which was also very helpful!

A bit of a disappointing experience. I felt the standard at this Holiday Inn was below average. The breakfast was limited and food quality was not the highest. The carpet had holes in it and the hotel binder had pen all over the pages. My friends had a pillow that smelled bad. Staff were nice and the gym had good equipment. There was a Tim Horton in the lobby. Check in and check out was smooth. Location was near shopping and eating.
