My mum and I stayed for 6 nights, the deluxe room is spacious and new! But only gripe is the aircon wasn’t as cold. We set it to 16degrees but room temperature shown was constantly at 22degrees, so we slept with no comforter at night else we would wake in the middle of the night in sweat. Could be because of the room size that the aircon isn’t strong enough to provide? Hotel got a technician to check and he checked and insisted that 22degrees is cold enough and left? Not sure about him but we sure weren’t feeling the cold.
Amenities were good and food delivery is sent via a robot. Overall still a good stay, but wouldn’t recommend coming during Summer especially if the aircon issue isn’t fixed.

Review of Stay at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Terminal 1 Hotel
Location and Accessibility: The hotel is conveniently located within Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Terminal 1 (not Pudong Airport, Shanghai’s largest airport). A shuttle service operates only on a fixed schedule, providing easy access to Terminal 2.
Breakfast: The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of international options. However, I wish there were more clearly marked halal options (non-pork, non-halal meat) to better accommodate dietary preferences.
Service and Amenities: The staff were friendly and professional. AC was not working well and it was too hot in the night. We had to call them and provided a cooler which was not so effective as well. There were issues with the air conditioning and shower as well.
Recommendation: This hotel is ideal for those attending exhibitions at the National Exhibition and Convention Center Shanghai. For cost savings, consider booking without breakfast and paying for it separately at the hotel, as this option appears more economical.
Overall: A pleasant stay with great convenience for Hongqiao Airport travelers, though improvements in halal food labeling and minor facility maintenance would enhance the experience.

The hotel is conveniently located near Hongqiao Airport and the Hongqiao High-Speed Railway Station, making it easy to travel. It takes only 20 minutes to reach the National Exhibition and Convention Center. The rooms are clean and tidy with complete facilities that are well-maintained.
Building No.2 has a good environment, and the rooms are equipped with large bathtubs, which are very suitable for relaxation. In terms of service quality: the front desk service is enthusiastic, the staff are professional, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. There are also many dining options in the vicinity.

Amazing room and view, great experience and ten outta ten service. In addition, I had some problems to check into other hotels due to troubles with communication, but Hilton’s English line helped a lot and I was able to check in without any problems. Great breakfast as always, full of variety, this experience makes we want to stay in Hiltons more.
This is a newly opened hotel with full sincerity. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a deluxe twin room and our check-out was delayed until 2pm. As soon as I entered the door, someone helped me with my suitcase, and then someone helped me press the elevator 🛗Minibar is currently free (but I didn't drink much, and it was inconvenient to open it with a bottle opener.)
Facilities: My favorite thing about the bathroom is the small stool where I can sit and do my makeup and skin care. However, the movable mirror can only be adjusted left and right, not up and down. If you want to use the round mirror, you have to stand up. The hair dryer is not a Dyson. There was no writing desk in the king-size bed room, so the front desk helped me change it to a twin-bed room, which had a writing desk. Next to the desk is a huge floor-to-ceiling window, and the view you can see is the ”Gate of Science” towering into the sky on the side, haha.
Service: The hotel check-in was good, but I felt a little unhappy when I came back to pick up my stored luggage. I asked ”where is the socket?” 🔌, and the lady selling cookies and desserts in the lobby pointed me to the place, and I sat there to charge my phone. The lady said that you can only sit here if you make a purchase, but there were three men sitting next to me in the so-called consumption area, not making any purchases but looking at their phones. Next time, I should treat them equally and chase away those men who are looking at their phones. Or separate the rest area and consumption area more clearly.
I originally booked 2 rooms for a parent-child trip with my parents and children, and planned to check in on 9/16. Molly contacted me in advance and added WeChat. As a result, the typhoon disrupted the itinerary, and I bought the Ctrip Select Package. I couldn't modify or cancel it by myself after booking. I tried to contact Molly to reflect whether the check-in date could be adjusted due to special weather. She helped to feedback to the reservation department. Not long after, Ctrip called and assisted in changing the date. This experience was really good. The hotel and Ctrip staff were very flexible👍
Although the check-in day was a weekend, there was a typhoon and heavy rain the day before. There were not many people in the hotel, and most of them were also with their children. The indoor swimming pool and the small beach are downstairs in Building 2. The slide and cute pet park are in the area behind Building 1.
If you don't want to spend extra money, dig sand, swim, and slide on the small beach, which is more than enough for the children to discharge. And my children like to watch TV and eat snacks in the hotel room.
You need to go to the lobby to get the takeaway food yourself, because the two hotels I stayed in before both had robots delivering food. There is a gap when there is a comparison. I hope it can be upgraded and optimized in the future.
The overall experience is good, the scenery is very quiet, and the air is very fresh. I will come again if I have the chance.
