"It was a little disappointing when the receptionist was being quite unprofessional as I approached her for a spare room card. She told me that the guest was British after I told her my surname meaning that she didn't consider that a Chinese person can be British, how backwards and ****** such behavior this is. Lack of exposure might be the answer ;however, I was expecting a lot more from a 4 star establishment. Must I stress that the reason we conversed in Mandarin is a respect to the local staff yet it always backfires in situation like this. More training should be provided."

"The breakfast spread was amazing! If I could rate this hotel for breakfast, it would be 10/10 because of the variety and the service provided. The dining area was seated based on senior citizens, families with young children, ********* couples, foreigners. So people could dine in peace or have access to the food easily. The only setback was the dust in the room which is shown in the photos, they could have cleaned the lights and aircond vent and ensure that the vacuum for the carpet was clean."

"This hotel really added a bonus to my trip in Tainan. It was honestly comfortable till the stage when the day ended, we actually looked forward to return to the hotel (didn’t feel like a hotel anymore, but more like going home) The location is really good too. It’s in a pretty open area surrounded by residential places, markets, and sports areas, so everything is quite convenient. Places like Shennong Street and other attractions are about a 15-18 minute walk away. The whole area is nice for city walks, just casually walking around also feels interesting. The room itself is new, clean, and well designed. Bathroom has proper dry-wet separation feels really nice and relaxing. The bed is also super comfortable and clean (there was just a few tiny hole, but it didn’t really affect anything) Overall, the whole place has a really nice vibe. Good service, good room, good location, honestly very worth it for the price. My friend and I really liked it, and we didn’t really want to leave when we checked out."

"Stylish hotel with thoughtful details (how they present the history of Tainan and its old trades), water dispenser on the 8th floor was great and so was the bidet in the room toilet. Room also ccame with local sweets, tea and coffee. Bonus was casting from your device onto room’s TV. Breakfast was a spread with a comforting range."

"The hotel's service and facilities are excellent, and its location is very convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again. I was really disappointed though because I had planned to go for a swim, but when I arrived, I found out the pool was undergoing its annual maintenance, which unfortunately coincided with my entire stay :("

"The hotel room was clean and basic for the most part and a few small bugs in the bathroom, but nothing major. 4 bottles of water are included and slippers. Beds are firm and comfortable and pillows are ok. However, if you are allergic to napthelene (moth balls), then stay away as the place is strong smelling of moth balls though the room doesn't have a closet or wardrobe. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The bathroom is very basic without a door rack to hang your clothes and the shower partition is only enough to shield the toilet from splashes and without any sliding doors. Toilet doesn't accept toilet paper, so you'll need to put into the provided waste basket. The young lady at the counter was generally helpful, but in a basic kind of way. The hotel is conveniently located right across from the Taiwan railway station in ”downtown” kind of area. The lobby looked big, clean, and decent with a ”putting green” off to the side. The room is quiet, though there are people talking loudly as they check in late at night. The lobby “free wifi” connects, but has no internet service. Room wifi is unsecured, so make sure you have a vpn or use it for unimportant things. They also provide a free luggage storage service before you check in so you can sightsee without lugging your luggage around town. Overall, it’s a good choice for a basic short stay at a very convenient location. The price is also very good. Recommended choice for your next Tainan trip."

"I stayed here on a weekday and found it to be pretty good value for money. Although check-in isn't until 8 PM, a 12 PM check-out is still convenient. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but there's a Pxmart, Poya, and convenience store nearby, so you don't have to worry about not finding anything to eat. The room was spacious, but the bathtub had a lot of human residue. I didn't notice it at first when filling the tub, but then I looked closely and realized I could easily feel it just by touching it, which was a bit disgusting. Other than that, everything else was actually quite good."

"Very clean, spacious, and convenient.  Staff is very friendly and willing to help.  Only downside is that the restaurant offers limited menu that is repetitive for lunch and dinner.  Swimming pool closes early. Most important of all, no gym whatsoever.  Hope there is a gym even if small.  This would make the place much more enjoyable in the future"

The property is a high-utility base for historical research, situated within walking distance of Anping Old Fort and the canal. I am inspired by the minimalist aesthetic and clean lines provide an environment conducive to ”mental decompression” after navigating the sensory-rich streets of Anping. however， a significant design flaw exists in the bathroom facilities. The window blinds are insufficient to fully cover the shower window, creating a transparency issue where the interior is visible from the public park outside. This presents a challenge to the ”psychological comfort” and privacy of the guest. Laundry services are not handled in-house; the establishment relies entirely on external providers.
