Romantic Hotels in Istanbul

On a passé un séjour de rêve,je remercie par l'ocasion le personnel de l'hôtel, on était 10 personnes on à occupé 3chambres et un appartement. les chambres et l'appartement étaient bien aménagés très propres, les produits de la salle de bain étaient bio, l'emplacement de l'hôtel rien à dire à quelques pas de FIŞikhane où vous pouvez prendre un dîner en famille ou en couple et de la station marmaray pour aller au centre ou bien au côté asiatique. Je recommande vivement et j'y reviendrai sans faute.

All the staff are most helpful and friendly. The rooms are very modern and the location is very good for all you want to do in the Old Town. Restaurant has some great meals and the breakfast buffet was terrific and extensive. The views are fantastic there too! A slight problem we had was sorted out professionally and promptly. We were most impressed with this hotel and highly recommend it.

Great location in Galata right below the tower and beautiful winding narrow streets. Very close to the river as well. At check-in the told us they ”upgraded” us with some weird explanation about how uncomfortable one of the two beds was in the room we paid for. They gave us a suite, but there was only one bed and i was travelling with a friend. We didn't want to sleep together. They had a metal wire cot (very small and uncomfortable) sitting next to the real bed. My friend and I decided that even though the suite was bigger, we would both like to have the room we paid for - the Deluxe Twin Room with two real beds. When i told them we would prefer our room with two beds, it came to be, that they had oversold the hotel and there actually was not an option for us to have the room we paid for. They offered us free breakfast for one of the nights. My friend could not sleep on the cot, so she used the couch and said she didn't sleep the entire night. The room is also very dark both in decoration and the amount of light. Also, they scheduled a private boat tour for us which all of the locals said should be around $200 Euro. They showed us a brochure of a beautiful large boat that did sunset tours for small groups for only $50 per person. Included food, tour guides and drinks. But, they told us for private it would be $350. I told her that was much more that what we had been told the cost was. She said we would have wine but we could only choose white or red (not both). Seemed a bit weird since all of the tours seemed to come with so much. The boat we got was much smaller than the photo. There were people on the boat but no one spoke a word to us and we didn't have a guide - no one spoke a word of English. The front desk told me the sun set at 7:45 and we were 7-9 so would get the sunset tour. But, when we got there at 7:00 the sun was already completely down. So, they had the time wrong. The captain didn't say a single word to us, not even hello. And the hotel provided the wine (not the boat). I asked if they had any snacks and he brought out some very wet and soggy nuts. We felt we got ripped off for the boat tour and again were sort of told one thing and got another. The pluses of the hotel are the location and the rooftop dining. It is BEAUTIFUL up there. The food is very good. The staff is generally very nice but they seemed to be in a bit of a situation trying to cover up for the mistakes and not really willing to take credit for the problems. I complained along the way, as I did when i left. And the front desk guy said ”well i hope we can do better next time”. Probably won't be a next time for me. I would definitely stay somewhere else as there are beautiful hotels everywhere and maybe just go there for breakfast or dinner.

The room is very unique, exquisite and spacious. The breakfast is OK, but not very varied. The transportation is convenient, right in the city center, you can walk directly to the palace and the church, and there are trams around. Eating in the surrounding area is expensive, and the prices in Turkey are quite high. I always eat at the nearby Burger King and KFC.

The facilities are very new and the location is good. However, the gravel road in the old town is not easy to walk on. The wheels on my suitcase are all broken. I was not allowed to check in until two or three o'clock. I don't understand why. I kept saying wait a minute.

The location is very good and very convenient, right next to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Old Palace. For example, it's like living in the Forbidden City. T1 station Tophane is 150 meters away. It's a gravel road downstairs, which is painful to pull the suitcase, but wherever you live, as long as you don't take a taxi, there are gravel roads. The facilities and decoration are relatively old, but clean and comfortable, worthy of 4 stars. The most amazing thing is the view of the rooftop on the 5th floor. You don't have to stay there, tourists can go up there, the staff are very friendly, the seagulls are against the backdrop of two world-class attractions, the Blue Mosque on the left and Hagia Sophia on the right, one word, absolutely!

We had a very unpleasant experience with stuff at the lobby , being there for Christmas Eve , me & my sister decide to eat inside the hotel rather to go out so at 10 pm we came down to the lobby where there is lounge area , for almost 15 minutes we saw that the lounge staff is passing us without asking if we want to order so I called one of the waitress and she came toward us with furious gestures before I start asking she said to me do you have a room in the hotel and I said yes , she continues what’s your room number and I replied , again with the cold face and rude behavior she continues ‘ under the name ?’ And I replied, she turned back to her desk without asking us what we would like to order and From her desk she went straight to reception to verify my information!!! My jaws dropped when I saw this , really rude & unprofessional behavior I was in complete shock that she even went to reception to verify the information, but the worst part was that after she verified and actually saw that we are the guest of the hotel she turned back to her desk and continued ignoring us , I never ever seen in my entire life a waitress permits herself to act like this with 5 star hotel guests, at this point we asked another waitress that if she can took our order , we then asked her if the hotel have another restaurant and she replied yes but the kitchen is closed after 10:30 pm , I don’t recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to enjoy the hotel facility, the staff are not guest friendly, the dining section is in some floor but for person like me that wants more easy snacks and chill area wasn’t really good option, not to mention that when we came back to our room we really felt so heavy and frustrated by this behavior, we were supposed to go today to lounge before departing but as for yesterday experience we just decide to check out soon and leave the hotel because we didn’t like to tolerate the attitude of this waitress ( she is the short women with short brown hair ) I suggest the general manager to see the video of yesterday and review their staff!

I came here on a business trip and liked this hotel very much. Unfortunately, it was fully booked one day, so the company switched me to another hotel. The hotel is very nice. There is a bar on the top floor. The chef and the bartender are very friendly and we have a lot of fun chatting. If I come to Turkey for a business trip next time, I will definitely choose this hotel.
