📍 Mimar Kemalettin Mah. Ordu Cad, Beyazıt, Darphane Sk. No: 1, Fatih, Istanbul

"A good hotel, conveniently located. From the airport, you can take a bus to Sultanahmet and walk a short distance, and the same goes for the return trip from the same stop. All the main attractions are within walking distance, and the T1 tram line has a very convenient route. Near the hotel, there are many shops, cafes, and currency exchange offices with good rates. The staff were all friendly. Unfortunately, our English isn't great, but they patiently explained everything to us. The room was small but cozy, clean, and had all the amenities. The breakfasts were delicious and satisfying. Overall, this was our first trip to Istanbul, and we spent a long time choosing a hotel. In the end, everything went great, and we were very happy with our stay. I hope we can come back again!"

Akka Suites Taksim-Special Class
9.4 (217 reviews)

Akka Suites Taksim-Special Class ★★★

📍 İstiklal Caddesi, Ayhan Işık Sk. No: 11, Beyoglu, Istanbul

"The hotel is truly within walking distance of the metro, about 6 minutes, and the popular Istiklal Street is just 3 minutes away. The hotel is very clean, and the breakfasts have everything you need for both kids and adults. The staff is helpful with any questions. It's not noisy in the hotel, and there's an excellent bar, Yuri Gagarin, just a minute away with very low prices for beer and food. I recommend it to everyone."

La Fortuna Hotel Taksim
8.8 (302 reviews)

La Fortuna Hotel Taksim

📍 Kocatepe, Feridiye Cd., No: 51, Beyoglu, Istanbul

"Right from the start, we were scammed and moved to a different hotel down the street. It looked nothing like the photos: Spartan conditions in what felt more like a hostel. First, they said the main hotel was under renovation. Then, it turned out all the rooms were occupied. Basically, they overbooked. Anyone who didn't fit got sent to their 'friends' down the street. But it wasn't a hotel, just a poor imitation. We asked to stay in the room we originally booked (which they didn't even show us), but were told it was impossible to check in there – supposedly plaster would fall from the ceiling at night. However, the price was good, can't argue with that. And the location was very close to Istiklal. Though, we later found out this part of the city is considered very high in crime. Lucky for us, there were no consequences. So, think 100 times before you decide if you want to stay here."

Denizli Hotel
9.5 (12 reviews)

Denizli Hotel

📍 Selim Paşa Sokak 8, Fatih, Istanbul

"Everything was great. The hotel was clean, everything was new, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We checked in without any problems, even though we arrived late and the booking number in the app didn't match the number the hotel manager had. They did have a reservation, so there must have been an issue with the app. The managers were polite and friendly, and they spoke English and Russian. The hotel's location is ideal—close to the center but quiet, with all forms of transportation nearby, making it easy to get to all the sights."

Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Old City
9.1 (440 reviews)

Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Old City ★★★★

📍 Sorguccu Str. No 1, Fatih, Istanbul

"This hotel was a transfer stay in Istanbul. I was hoping for something a bit better than the Holiday Inn I stayed at previously. The location is good, right next to the metro, but here come the downsides: rooms facing the street can be quite noisy."

Dem Premium Hotel - Round Trip Airport Service - Istanbul International Airport
7.8 (170 reviews)

Dem Premium Hotel - Round Trip Airport Service - Istanbul International Airport ★★★★

📍 Nene Hatun Şükrü Sokak 2-4 / 888 AP, Arnavutkoy, Istanbul

"The hotel was just so-so, and the environment wasn't great. The airport pickup and drop-off service was even more expensive than taking a taxi myself."

Golden Age Hotel Taksim Hotels in Istanbul

Golden Age Hotel Taksim

"This was a convenient option for a one-night stay. We chose it specifically for its proximity to the airport shuttles and metro, and we weren't disappointed. Location 10/10! However, we wouldn't have wanted to stay more than one night in our room category. Besides the location, the comfortable beds were a plus. And that's pretty much it. Despite booking an "improved room," the room was in rather poor condition – bad lighting, the bathroom didn't feel clean, scratched furniture, dirty walls and carpet, and a dirty kettle (it would be good to clean or replace it). It wasn't very pleasant to be in the room. It was extremely noisy! There was absolutely no soundproofing from the hallway; all the rustling, conversations, and movements felt like they were happening inside our room, not just outside the door. We didn't use any of the hotel's additional services, so I can't comment on them."

KILIÇ Motel Hotels in Istanbul

KILIÇ Motel

"This is a good option for a one or two-night stopover in Istanbul. The room is newly renovated and it's not far from the beach. In the morning, the owner offers breakfast for 500 lira. You can book an airport transfer in advance (1500 lira), but we used Yandex's service. It's clear that the promenade is undergoing major renovations, and I think it will be very beautiful in a year. The beaches are a 3/10; locals throw a lot of trash even though there are bins everywhere. Also, getting into the sea isn't very comfortable because of the boulders and stones right in the water, so be careful. The hotel owner is very friendly, and we enjoyed our stay."

"My stay here was fantastic! The hotel front desk staff were incredibly friendly and even upgraded my room when possible, offering lots of helpful tips. The room itself was spacious, well-equipped, and clean, and the bed was so comfortable. After a tiring first day, I showered and fell asleep almost instantly. The only minor issue was the shower drainage in the bathroom, which was a bit slow and caused water to pool. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the tram station, and the price was quite reasonable. Plus, the breakfast spread was extensive. This hotel is definitely worth considering for anyone visiting Istanbul."

"The hotel is good and clean, and the staff is pleasant. They provide contact information for a Russian manager in case of any misunderstandings. We stayed on the 5th floor in an upgraded room. The beds were spacious, the bathroom was clean, and the towels were also clean. The downside was the view from the windows, which overlooked an abandoned building. Also, there are bars near the hotel where music and conversations go on until morning. Consequently, if you're a light sleeper, getting a good night's rest might be challenging."
