"The best stay we had in China, by far. 😍 From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly well looked after. On our first day in Siguniang, they came to pick us up as soon as we arrived, and throughout our stay they helped us with absolutely everything. The hotel and the room are beautifully decorated, with so much attention to detail, and the views are amazing. We also slept really well every night. We had dinner there every evening and were genuinely impressed by how good the food was. You can really tell that everything is made with care. We also loved the atmosphere among the staff: they clearly get along very well and feel like a little family, which makes the whole place feel warm and welcoming. On our first day, we took it easy to acclimatize and went for a short walk nearby. You do need transport to get into town and to reach the hiking areas, but they are very helpful and can arrange everything for you. We absolutely loved our stay.🫶 Special thanks to the lovely girl at reception!! P.S. We highly recommend the soup pot, perfect after a hiking day. (sorry for the long review, I just couldn’t make it any shorter!)"

"What started as an accidental booking turned into a wonderful surprise! The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service. The food, from breakfast to dinner and even the coffee, was superb! The owner also patiently offered itinerary suggestions and helped arrange private car services to attractions and the bus station. A huge thank you to the owner and staff for their 100% perfect service 💯. You can truly feel the owner's passion for life, which is evident in every corner of the inn. "Overall This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back. The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10. 🏨 Room — 10/10 Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners. 🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10 Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept. 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10 The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine. 📍 Location — 9/10 A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10 The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings. 🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10 Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day. 🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10 The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy. The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu."

I highly recommend this guesthouse within the scenic area! What impressed me the most was the free luggage transfer service. You drop off your bags with the hotel staff at the scenic area entrance, and then you can head straight up the mountain unburdened, without dragging a suitcase. It's so convenient and saves time! On the second day, you just leave your luggage in the room, and the guesthouse takes care of transporting it to the scenic area entrance for you to pick up from the staff. No need to carry your bags at all, it's incredibly hassle-free! On the first day, I had a bit of altitude sickness and a headache, so I rested at the hotel. By the second day, I had recovered, and the weather also cleared up perfectly! The garden in the hotel courtyard is beautiful, with so many succulents. The owner is very nice; they proactively contacted me before check-in to remind me about tickets and check-in procedures, and also explained high-altitude precautions. They even provided an oxygen pillow, which was a very thoughtful service.

My legs hurt.
Our room was at the top, offering unobstructed views of the mountains from several angles. It was the first hotel after climbing the hill in front of the bus station to Changping. We were traveling alone with our 10-year-old child. The hotel's hostess was the most lovely, fast-working, cheerful and lively woman. She helped us with everything, from small matters to big ones, like missing our bus to Chengdu. We stayed here for three nights and slept comfortably every night. The food in the restaurant was delicious, with many flowers blooming outside the windows. The cook was very kind. Even though we couldn't communicate clearly, she helped us with everything. We survived this trip because of the lovely people from this hotel.

This Tibetan-style Cloud Inn is located in Siguniangshan Town, making it very convenient to get to Shuangqiao Valley and Changping Valley. The rooms are clean and tidy, with underfloor heating, so it's not cold when staying overnight in the highlands. The owner is incredibly thoughtful; they'll pick you up if you take the shuttle bus. The first floor is a restaurant, offering free breakfast from 8-9 am daily. You can also opt for yak hotpot for lunch and dinner, or enjoy coffee there. Dining is very convenient, and convenience stores are just a short walk away. During the off-season, the streets are quiet and peaceful, and the view from the window is beautiful. If you need to go to other scenic spots, you can also contact the owner to arrange a car, which is very handy. This is definitely the top choice for accommodation when visiting Siguniangshan.

The room was very spacious and clean, with a large bed. The owner even upgraded our room. Most importantly, the owner and staff were very nice and helpful, even reminding us to have breakfast in the morning. The hotel is right on the main street and is one of the largest hotels in town. Parking is very convenient, with parking spaces right outside the hotel and a small parking lot across the street. This is not easy to do in this area where every inch of land is valuable. Staying in a room with a view, you can overlook most of the town!

Very warm accommodation is very convenient, the boss is also very enthusiastic. It takes five minutes to walk down Changpinggou. In the most prosperous street, there are many restaurants next to it. It is delicious, but the wall of the room is a bit dirty.

Very convenient stay. The hotel is right next to the entrance for Changpinggou and Haizigou, and adjacent to the best food street in the area. It’s a short ride to Shuangqiaogou and there are plenty of convenient taxis. The room itself was clean and comfortable, the floor heater kept the room warm during the chilly high altitude nights. Would stay here again.

The environment is quiet and peaceful, the room is spacious and bright, and the cleanliness is exceptionally well-maintained, with attention to detail evident throughout.
