Four Girls Mountain Lanxi Wild Luxury Hotel (Changpinggou Scenic Area Branch)

9.8/10
Perfect

The hotel has beautiful decor and clean rooms, with a stunning mountain view from the window. The underfloor heating was excellent, making the environment much better than expected. It's quite a large property, and there's even an observation deck within the hotel grounds, so you can enjoy the scenery without having to hike. The owner is incredibly kind, warm, and thoughtful. The breakfast is also plentiful, with fresh and delicious ingredients. The auntie at the restaurant was exceptionally nice, which was very heartwarming! The hotel is located halfway up the mountain above Siguniangshan Town. It takes a few extra minutes to drive in and out, but it's not a big issue, and it's much quieter than the town itself, free from the hustle and bustle of traffic and restaurants. It feels like a relatively new establishment, and you can tell the owners put a lot of effort into running it. Having stayed in various styles of guesthouses due to frequent mountain trips, I've seen some places with beautiful hardware but lacking in software and service. This place is different; it's not just a trendy spot that relies solely on its scenic views for Instagrammable photos. I hope such dedicated owners continue to thrive!

The service and cleanliness were truly exceptional! The owners were incredibly welcoming and warm. On our first day, we took a direct bus to the Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area parking lot, and we were so grateful that the owners specifically came to pick us up and take us to the guesthouse. Otherwise, we, as outsiders, would have been a bit lost. In the afternoon, the owners invited us to the terrace to eat roasted oranges and drink tea together. Through our conversations, we, as foreigners, learned so much more about Chinese history, culture, and daily life. In the evening, they treated us to ******* qingke pancakes, and the local chicken hot pot was also delicious (the hot pot ingredients were all natural, not pre-made)! The next morning, since it was the off-season, the owner took the time to drive us to Jiajin Mountain, about a 40-minute drive away, to see the sea of clouds, and the scenery was stunning! This was one of our best memories from our trip to Chengdu ❤️❤️❤️

Endless Summer · Cloud Private Hot Spring Homestay(Siguniang Mountain)

Excellent

The snow-capped mountains at 9 AM were absolutely stunning! No need to get up early to chase the sunrise; it truly lives up to its nickname, ”Little Switzerland of Western Sichuan.” After searching for ages, I finally found a courtyard hot spring bath with a view. And it's a private courtyard bath for each guesthouse, so you won't be disturbed. The guesthouse has its own restaurant where you can enjoy local cuisine. As a Cantonese person coming from a city in the twenties (Celsius) to the sub-zero Western Sichuan plateau for the first time, I absolutely had to have some braised yak meat and matsutake chicken soup to warm me up. Soaking in my private courtyard hot spring bath in -8°C weather, gazing at the unbeatable snow-capped mountain scenery—this is what it means to have your eyes in paradise! Even at an altitude of over 3,000 meters, there's no need to worry. The guesthouse has oxygen cylinders and oxygen bags. Although it was my first time at such a high altitude, I felt mild altitude sickness, which was manageable. Especially when I felt unwell, taking a walk in the courtyard and breathing in the negative ions of nature made me feel much better! What's best about the guesthouse is the scenery; it's truly my ideal utopia. Every view from the room is a perfect shot. You don't need to spend money to go to tourist attractions to see snow-capped mountains, meadows, yaks, horses, and donkeys. Coming here to relax is incredibly therapeutic.

This hotel really understands what high-altitude travelers need! The room features underfloor heating throughout, an independent oxygen concentrator, and a large-capacity humidifier. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly. Leaning by the window to watch the misty mountains before bed just melts away all the day's fatigue. The hotel's terrace also offers great views; I spent an afternoon there enjoying a pot of ******* sweet tea from the shop next door. The staff were very gentle, check-in was quick, and they even recommended some lesser-known photo spots. If you're coming to Mount Siguniang for the scenic experience, you absolutely must book this hotel!

LuHe Luhe · Oxygen-Rich Hotel(Shuangqiao Valley Scenic Area)

When I was choosing a hotel online, I was torn between City Comfort Inn and Luhe Hotel, as both are very close to Shuangqiao Valley. However, I found out that City Comfort Inn doesn't have oxygen machines, only oxygen tanks which come with a fee. Luhe Hotel, on the other hand, offers diffused oxygen supply in the rooms, along with nasal cannula, which are more professional, and it's all complimentary. The rooms at Luhe are also larger, featuring smart home systems and other amenities. I also read reviews saying the breakfast was good. In the end, I chose Luhe, and it really was a great choice. The service was exceptional. You can tell the owner is very thoughtful; they even have a free mahjong/chess room and a mother and baby room.

The facilities are excellent, and the service is warm and welcoming. Overall, it's a very good hotel, and I would recommend it again next time. The hotel breakfast was delicious. The Zhajiangmian (noodles with soybean paste) was especially tasty. Facilities: The underfloor heating throughout the room is excellent. Cleanliness: The bedding was spotless and hygienic. Environment: Excellent. Service: Warm and attentive, always ready to help.

An absolutely wonderful experience! The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, even proactively assisting us with our luggage in the high altitude. The room was well-equipped with complimentary drinks and snacks, floor heating, and a humidifier, ensuring a very comfortable night's stay. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offered panoramic views of the town! Highly recommend it; my family even praised my choice! So satisfied!

The room was clean and tidy, with a mountain view from the window. It was quiet and comfortable. The staff were warm, thoughtful, and attentive; they even came to our room to check in on us and ask if we were comfortable and if everything was working well! Next time I come to Mount Siguniang, I'll definitely stay here again!

The room was very clean, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The toilet was smart, and there was even an oxygen supply system in the room. We had a great view of the mountains from our window. There's a local specialty supermarket on the first floor, and the hotel is only a 5-minute walk to Mount Siguniang, so the location is fantastic. The best part, though, was the ******* clothing experience the hotel offered – it was amazing! They had so many styles to choose from, and you could wear them into the scenic area for photos, which turned out beautifully! (The room photo was taken just before we left, so it's a bit messy.)

This stay was beyond my expectation! From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I could feel the attentive and caring service. The front desk was quick and efficient. I took the initiative to help with the luggage. The room was warm and the bedding was soft. The mattress was moderately soft and hard, and I had a good night's sleep. The bathroom and health separate toiletries were all high-quality and full of details. I strongly recommend the Sgura Manor Hotel. It is definitely the first choice for business travel and driving. I will come again next time!
