"The hotel is located within the scenic area, and you can see Siguniang Mountain right from your room window – the view is absolutely stunning. You can't drive directly to the hotel, but their shuttle service can pick you up and drop you off in town, which is still quite convenient. The service was excellent; they were very accommodating and met almost every request. Couldn't fault it. The hotel environment is also great. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and they even provide complimentary drinks and snacks. Just a heads-up: Siguniang Mountain is quite high in elevation, and the hotel itself is over 3,000 meters up. So, if you're prone to altitude sickness, you really need to be careful and bring plenty of oxygen tanks, otherwise, it can be quite miserable. Also, the climate here is very different from Chengdu – it's very dry and cold, so make sure you're prepared."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and walk 10 mins to Changpinggou. The food was excellent fresh, tasty. What really stood out was the service: the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. "Beta is a fantastic host. This place is ideal if you plan to hike Changping Gou. It's a short walk to the ticket office. Also very close by are many restaurants, with less tourists than the other towns its perfect for relaxing after a long hike.  The breakfast is great and also at a good price. I want to thank Beta for taking me to the pharmacy to get some headache medicine. Also there is a nice hike at the back of the hotel about 3km to see amazing views of the four sisters mountain range. Avoid the Iced Rock Bar around the corner the food is terrible"

"The host is very friendly and full of service mind. The hotel is at the lower part of town so it required some energy to walk up hill to the main road for restaurant. The rooms are nice with large panoramic windows with beautiful mountain and river view. The heater is planted on the floor, so you can walk around in the room comfortably. As it’s quite a distance from the main road, it’s quiet at night. Washing machine, detergent and hanging room is provided if you happen to wash your cloth. The place is about 7 km and 2 km from shuangpinggou and Changpinggou national park respectively. The host is willing to arrange/call a taxi for us. Also assistance for train and bus is available should you need it. I will definitely stay here again next time.😀"

"Location: the hotel is located inside Shuangqiao valley national park. The scenic green bus will alight at the hotel so upon arrival, the bus will stop at the doorstep of the hotel or flag it to get further into the national park. The scenic bus will drive all the way towards the redwood forest which is the end point of the park, around 30-45 mins. I highly encourage to stay inside the scenic area as just a day trip will be too rush, with a few days, you get to acclimatize yourself to avoid altitude sickness and also get to explore each location properly and even trek the boardwalk between the locations instead of taking the bus. As long as you don’t exit the national park, you can still utilize your entry ticket and bus ticket. I have stayed for 3 days and was able to use the same ticket for 3 days which was very worthwhile. Service: there is a young male stuff who is very attentive. As soon as the scenic bus alighted me at the hotel, he came out to receive my bag. Also, when I had difficulties flagging the bus since some of them were already full from passengers at the entrance , he came out from the reception just to help me. Besides him, there’s a young lady (without spectacles) who has also been very helpful and friendly and has helped to stop the scenic bus for boarding. Thank you! Room View: if you are looking for a place to take a break, this will be the best place and it is very quiet and the Mountain View is just right in-front. Facilities: the room is very cosy yet big. There’s a bathtub right infront of the mountain view. Overall, it has been a great stay with a with such an amazing view. Will definitely return for a stay if there’s an opportunity."

"Location: Just 300 meters from Changpinggou and Haizigou, very close. Facilities: The hotel has its own parking lot and provides two slow-charging stations, making parking convenient. Environment: Very cozy. It's close to Christmas, and there are Christmas-themed decorations for photos! 📸👍🏻 The hotel is near the visitor center of Changpinggou and Haizigou, with a pedestrian street and supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. The environment is good, and the service is great! Issues are resolved promptly. Overall, it's excellent. The hotel is pet-friendly, though unfortunately dogs aren't allowed into the scenic area. The room environment and bedding are very comfortable, the underfloor heating is ample, and the breakfast is delicious! 😋"

"This place completely exceeded our expectations. The room was incredibly clean and beautifully designed, with a very cozy atmosphere that made us feel relaxed the moment we stepped in. The bed was extremely comfortable we slept so well every night. The view was absolutely stunning. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery every morning was truly unforgettable and made the stay even more special. The service was outstanding. The staff were super friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. They took excellent care of us and were always happy to help. They kindly recommended many delicious local restaurants and shared great tips on beautiful places to visit around Rilong, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The location is also very convenient,staff always bring us to wherever we want to go . Overall, this was an amazing stay, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place in Rilong Town. Highly recommended we would definitely stay here again!"

"We were so glad we chose Shan Shang Shan for our final stop in Siguniang Mountain on our western Sichuan trip. The guesthouse's location is superb, nestled halfway up the mountain, with parking available and an elevator. We arrived around 9 PM, and it was easy to find following the directions. The owner thoughtfully prepared dinner for us (the ******* hotpot was delicious!). The room was exactly as pictured, and the owner even turned on the diffused oxygen system for us in advance, which made us feel right at home. The room had a full wooden interior, and everything was perfectly satisfactory. What I loved most, though, was waking up and pulling back the curtains to reveal stunning mountain views, with a faint glimpse of snow-capped peaks – it was truly perfect. Breakfast was also very generous, and we even tried making hand-churned yak butter tea. If you like savory milk tea, you should definitely give it a try; it really helps with altitude sickness."

"This hotel is incredibly stylish. It feels super high-end, with Marshall speakers throughout and L'Occitane toiletries in every room. The rooms even come with oxygen concentrators, and the owner upgraded us to a bathtub room, which offered truly breathtaking and healing views – we even saw the 'sunlit golden mountains' (rijin jinshan) in the morning. From the moment we arrived, we experienced truly VIP service. The owner personally drove us everywhere, probably five or six round trips in a single day. In the afternoon, when we went out to take photos, the staff brought us a fruit platter and kept us supplied with drinks, including Rhodiola rosea tea and ginger ale. The owner even tried to get some sparklers for our photos, but they burned out in a second – a funny little incident. What touched us most was that it was the winter solstice on the day we checked in. Since we weren't going down the mountain that evening, the staff brought us dumplings. They were so delicious that I had two plates! When I offered to pay, they said it was complimentary, which made me feel a little embarrassed. Furthermore, when we left, the owner drove us to Shuangqiao Valley without any extra charge, even though it's typically 30 RMB per person, the same as outside services. They even helped us transfer our luggage to our second guesthouse. The owner is incredibly kind, it almost brought tears to my eyes. Overall, this hotel is absolutely amazing! Within a year, I've traveled to several countries in Asia and Europe, and even stayed in high-end chain hotels, but not a single one had service and facilities that could compare to Xing Shan Yue Ying. I truly didn't want to leave and it left me with the most wonderful memories. I wish the owner a prosperous business and hope to visit again!"

"This B&B is absolutely wonderful, highly recommended! It truly felt like home. The front desk contacted us in advance and checked in on our location during our journey. They provided a menu for pre-ordering meals. We encountered a massive traffic jam coming from Bipenggou, which stretched our drive to over six hours. We had hoped to catch the 'golden mountain bathed in sunrise' view from the B&B, but it was already dark when we arrived. Thankfully, the kind front desk staff recorded a video of the sunrise for me. We were also greeted by the golden retriever, Duorou. There are charging stations available. For dinner, we chose the matsutake mushroom and chicken stew, which was incredibly delicious. I had several bowls of chicken soup! We also enjoyed fruit, red velvet cake, and white fungus soup. The tableware was exquisite. The entire B&B has a fantastic aesthetic, with pure solid wood throughout – I really loved the decor. We stayed on the first floor, which had a small courtyard offering distant views of Mount Siguniang. The fourth-floor terrace provides panoramic views. The room lighting was comfortable, and I particularly liked the large mirror and spacious vanity. The shower water was very hot with good pressure. We even experienced a power outage one evening, which serendipitously allowed us to witness a sky full of stars. The power issue was resolved quickly. The room was very quiet at night, and breakfast was both rich and refined. The triangular pancakes were especially tasty, with a perfectly crispy bottom. There was also congee, rice vermicelli, rich milk, and local eggs. If I ever have the chance to visit Mount Siguniang again, I would definitely want to stay here. It was incredibly comfortable. They also provide oxygen concentrators. When we left, the front desk lady even came to the door to wave goodbye."
