I have searched for a hotel in SiGuNiangShan over a year. i have pinned this hotel as the first in my list to visit. I checked-in with excitement but checked-out with a lot of disappointment.  First of all, I admire their room cleanliness and comfy bedding. The heating floor is great. Their breakfast is a combination for both chinese and western, which is kinda nice. Dinner is fine. There are not a lot of option for meal around the area. i did not try the western dishes but the hotpot is general. I think it is a little expensive with 300RMB for chicken soup with 3 types of veggie. Everything is (mostly) accordingly to the advertisement.  Except that I think the built-in bath tub (the square one not the white one) seems not as clean that I am not feeling of getting myself in. Perhaps, the strain plus the color make me feel this way.  There are 2-3 construction sides in the area that block the view. These are not pleasurable, though there are not noise or working staff around. There are no public area or walking path that allow visitors to spend their time out of the room. Well, it is not worth to spend time in the public area anyway as their staff rarely smile or greeting the visitors nicely. The driver who picked me up of the parking lots never smiled to me directly during the time of visit. ** my disappointment came greatest when I went into Chanpinggou and my partner left his phone on the bench. We ran back to find the phone but we did not find it. so, I contact the hotel staff by wechat and asked them to contact the officer in the National park as I cannot make the call, the signal is very bad. I made it clear to them the exact location of mine and that I could not find any staff around. Rather than understanding and contacting the national park. They send me the phone number and asked me to call the national park myself. Considering that I am an oversea visitor as well as that I have made it clear that the signal is bad within the park, I prefer more help and empathy.  ***my disappointment is even further when I am checking out. The hotel staff asked me to write them a good review. I told them that I will write the review on my own. They still persisted to write a review for me and asked me to finish the review before departure. I am also working in the hotel and I think this is the WORST part of all. You should respect the customer sincere review and appreciate that as a way to improve.  I have been to many hotels that are located within or very close the famous attraction around China  - Shangrila, Huangshan and many more. I have paid extra for this hotel compared to other sides. I never found these kind of disappoints before in those hotels, so my expectations are high.

This was the best hotel of our China trip! Every corner of the hotel is beautifully designed, and the room was spotless with all the amenities we needed. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind. When my father experienced a bit of dizziness due to the high altitude, the staff quickly brought him an oxygen machine along with a special tea to help ease the symptoms — such thoughtful care! Dinner at the hotel was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff looked after us throughout the entire meal, and everyone was so friendly. Breakfast was unique and delightful, and the morning latte they served was absolutely perfect . If I ever return to this city, I will definitely stay here again. “This hotel should absolutely be on everyone’s travel list!”

This hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations! The view from our room was simply stunning, especially during the autumn season. The vibrant colors of the mountains were a sight to behold. The room itself was incredibly spacious and spotless, with a very effective heating system that kept us cozy throughout our stay. What truly set this place apart was the owner's exceptional hospitality. They were incredibly helpful and enthusiastic, going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. They provided excellent recommendations for sightseeing around the town, suggested good restaurants, and even helped us coordinate and book all our taxi trips. They even printed some documents for us free of charge and were always happy to assist with any needs we had, no matter how small. We felt so well taken care of during our stay. If you're looking for a hotel with breathtaking views, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding service, look no further!

⸻ Unforgettable Stay by the Siguniang Mountains! Staying at this hotel near the moutains was an absolute dream. The location alone is breathtaking, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that made the whole trip feel magical. But what truly made the experience memorable was the outstanding service. From check-in to check-out, Mimi went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. They were warm, friendly, and always ready with a smile or helpful recommendation. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality. The room was cozy and clean, with large windows that offered a beautiful view of the glacier. Waking up to that every morning was a highlight of our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, explore nature.

The name on Trip.com is Siguniang Mountain Qingfeng Xiaozhu Homestay, but the actual name on the hotel sign is The Snow Journey Hotel or The Monk Under The Mountain. The room we stayed in had a bathtub right by the window, and when you looked outside, you could see the mountains and the river—so beautiful! During our 4-day, 3-night stay, we experienced both snowy views and views of the melting snow, giving us a variety of atmospheres. Every corner was perfect for taking photos, and in the mornings, we could just lie in bed and enjoy the view. ---- Details ---- In the room, there’s a bed that you can adjust to make it warm, so the bed stays cozy. The bathroom also has a heating system, which was great because it was below freezing when we went. After coming back from the cold outdoors, taking a warm shower was absolutely wonderful! The bathtub is the highlight of the room! Soaking in warm water while enjoying the beautiful view was totally worth it. They provide all the basic amenities you might need, and if you’re missing anything, you can pick it up at the lobby. They have a table with various items (near the ”wish tree”) that you can take for free. Or you can message them on WeChat to request anything. Upon check-in, the staff will serve you tea and snacks and ask to add you on WeChat for easier communication since they speak very little English. Communicating via WeChat was very easy and convenient, and they were very quick to respond and always offered help. The lobby has a fireplace, cozy seating, a dining table, and sometimes in the evenings, they play music or karaoke. The rooftop on the 5th floor has a place to sit and enjoy the view, along with a washing machine and drying racks, which is great for those staying for an extended period. ---- Services ---- The hotel is a bit off the main road, but the service is excellent. There are three staff members: a woman, a man (probably the owner), and a housekeeper. The woman takes care of everything from check-ins to preparing breakfast (which you can request for an additional 28 RMB per person), and even dinner. During our stay, we wanted to go somewhere, and if she was free, she offered to pick us up and drop us off. The care and attention were top-notch! ---- A Lovely Experience ---- The woman who took care of us was really sweet. When we went to the Four Sisters Mountain, she helped us book a car for 15 RMB per person. On the way back, I didn’t book a ride because I wasn’t sure when we’d leave the park, and I thought I could easily grab a Didi taxi. But I was wrong! I couldn’t find a Didi near the park, and to make matters worse, my phone died (from taking too many pictures). I ended up walking around trying to find a taxi, showing the hotel card and gesturing to the drivers that I needed to go back to the hotel. I finally found a taxi that agreed to take me back for the same price (15 RMB per person). The taxi dropped us off close to the hotel but got stuck behind a snowplow, so we had to walk the rest of the way. On the way, we spotted the hotel car and the woman who had been worried and looking for us. She was about to drive to the park to pick us up because she hadn’t heard from us, and we hadn’t replied to her messages. It was such a touching moment when she found us! 🥹 ---- Conclusion ---- If you’re looking for a place with amazing views, great prices, spacious and clean rooms, and service that feels like family, I highly recommend this hotel. Even though the location is a bit off the main road (and there aren’t many shops nearby), it’s definitely worth it. I’m planning to return for sure!

It was raining and the temperature was only 9 degrees in June, which was freezing. Fortunately, the inn had floor heating at night, otherwise I would be woken up by the heat in the middle of the night. The room was large, with floor-to-ceiling windows that had a direct mountain view. The river was too noisy, and I couldn't fall asleep without closing the windows, but the glass had good sound insulation. The inn is at the end of Siguniang Mountain Town, with a spacious parking lot. Parking is difficult in the entire town

Facilities: quite comprehensive, the toilet 🚽 is also smart, and there is no cold butt in winter! The room has floor heating and humidifier, super large TV 📺 and can cast the screen ~ There is also a bar, a large terrace, and a restaurant in the B&B 🍴 There is also a small can of candy and tea in the room. Heartwarming little things hehe 😚 Environment: quiet and elegant, comfortable and pleasant! In the bar and terrace, it is really great to roast fire and cook tea in winter! You can also see the stars in the sky at night 💫 Service: The beautiful boss is really enthusiastic! A little bit overwhelmed ~ a good boy! The service is super invincible 👍🏻 In the evening, they prepared a heater for us because they were afraid that we would be cold! After coming down from Siguniang Mountain, they also picked us up and sent us to the B&B 🏨 Order in advance and you can eat hot yak beef hot pot when you return to the B&B restaurant 🍲 Special note 📝 Rice noodles for breakfast! Fried chicken is delicious!!!

The accommodation is excellent with beautiful views, surrounded by mountains. It’s a bit far from the city center, but there is a pick-up service to the hotel. The room is fully equipped with everything you need, including an oxygen machine and a kettle. The hotel owner is very kind and helpful, offering support with everything. They gave us great recommendations and took care of us like family. There is also a restaurant at the hotel, so everything you need is right there. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location is excellent, close to everything I wanted to visit, with easy access to transport and local attractions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!
