Hotel near Lukou International Airport Surrounding,Nanjing
"Worried about a tight schedule and a rush from the city center to the airport, I opted for a hotel conveniently located near the airport. This was my first stay at Pudding Yanxuan, and I found it to be very clean and hygienic with excellent service. My flight was at 4:30 PM, and check-out is usually at 12 PM. However, the front desk attendant was very thoughtful and extended my check-out to 2 PM. She even reminded me that I could wait at the front desk at 1:50 PM for the 2 PM shuttle to the airport. The hotel itself was spotless, and they provided disposable toiletries. The hotel's location is also quite good; a 10-15 minute walk to the subway station leads to a 'Whale Night Market'. Although it was closed for the summer holidays due to a lack of student patrons, McDonald's was a good alternative. 👍🏼"

Floral Hotel·Nanjing Tangshan left adjacent right house hot spring hotel

9.7/10
Excellent
Posted onMar 30, 2024|Cozy Double Bed Room (Private Hot Spring)
CNWangtaiyang@
Recently, I wanted to experience the feeling of a hot spring B&B. Many people choose to go to hot springs when the weather is cold. However, when the weather is cold, there are many people, so I chose a season with fewer people to experience a hot spring B&B. Ctrip visited several hot spring B&Bs. , but there were a few bad reviews, so I finally chose Neighbors. First of all, this restaurant had a lot of bad reviews, and secondly, I thought the name was very good and artistic. 1. Location: It is located in a village at the intersection of Tangshan Expressway. It is easy to find by car. It is a quiet and clean village. There is a big tree at the door of the B&B. 2. I arrived at around 6 o'clock in the evening when I checked in. There were very few people coming to the hot springs during this season, so it was extra quiet. The lady at the front desk was also very enthusiastic and upgraded the room type and told me the breakfast time (I was a little late in bed and didn't have breakfast😂). Welcome fruit. There are tea bags and every paper cup has a plastic bag on it, giving people a very careful and clean feeling. They took it to the room and told them how to drain the hot spring water. 3. Environment There is no peculiar smell when entering the house. The house is very spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows and a small balcony. 4. The temperature of the hot spring is just right, neither cold nor hot, which can relieve fatigue. The front desk even gave me a small gift when I was leaving, which was really unexpected. I even had a chat with the owner of the B&B at the door. The B&Bs in the village do not have the hustle and bustle of business hotels in the city, but only the comfort of a slow-paced life. It is very suitable for you to come to the neighbors after a period of work, come to the quiet village to take a hot spring, and relax yourself appropriately.

The hotel offers a peaceful retreat despite its central location. The front desk service was excellent, and the room was very clean. Breakfast was also good. The transportation is incredibly convenient; it's a 15-minute walk to the Presidential Palace and only 300 meters from Xi'anmen subway station, making it easy to reach various attractions. Right next to the hotel is a local residential area with great little restaurants in the alleyways, as well as chain stores like Liu Changxing. Overall, I had a very positive experience.

Highly recommend this hidden gem for families with kids! Purple Lake Resort Hotel + Wildlife World. I suggest a 3-day, 2-night stay, opting for the package that includes accommodation, unlimited access to the wildlife park, and hot springs. This allows you to comfortably see all the animals and enjoy plenty of interactive experiences. **Day 1:** Arrived at 10 AM, checked in immediately, dropped off our bags, and headed into the park. First, we watched the sea lion show, then fed and interacted with giraffes, elephants, zebras, and more. Finally, we took the mini-train for an overall tour of the park and fed the animals. For lunch, we went back to the hotel for a meal and a nap. After waking up, we played at the kids' playground until 5 PM (older kids might consider the outdoor amusement park for rides like the pirate ship and Ferris wheel). Dinner was in Tangshan town; many local farm-to-table restaurants offer great value (we got a 4-dish set for three people for 168 RMB [thumbs up]). After dinner, we enjoyed the hot springs, concluding our first day. **Day 2:** After an early breakfast, we went straight back into the park to see the giant pandas (they're more active from 9 AM to 11 AM). Afterward, we rode ponies, then went to the deer and monkey areas for interactive feeding, and caught up on any other animals we missed. After a simple lunch, we watched the 1 PM grand circus performance, then checked out. A one-night stay is sufficient, but two nights make it much more relaxed. The entire resort is perfect for multi-generational trips with seniors and children. The environment is beautiful and peaceful. Seniors can also enjoy boating, watching fish and swans, soaking in the hot springs, and leisurely strolls. I'll definitely consider bringing my parents here next time.

My stay at InterContinental Nanjing Zifeng was absolutely perfect! The hotel is right in the city center, with direct subway access. My high-floor room offered breathtaking panoramic views of Jinling city through its floor-to-ceiling windows, and the sunset and night views were simply stunning. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. A special shout-out to Cora at the front desk! She was incredibly patient and friendly throughout the check-in process, proactively providing information about breakfast times and executive lounge hours. When she learned I was planning to go sightseeing, she thoughtfully recommended local attractions and transportation routes. Later, when I inquired about late check-out and luggage storage, Cora handled everything quickly and efficiently. Her attention to detail and professionalism were outstanding, and her service was genuinely caring and never perfunctory. I truly experienced the high-quality service InterContinental is known for!

Zhuangyuanlou Hotel – the name itself evokes culture. The location is absolutely fantastic; turn right just 5 meters from the entrance and you're right at the main gate of Nanjing Confucius Temple scenic area, walking straight into the pedestrian street. It's incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. You can really tell it's a five-star hotel; as soon as we arrived, someone enthusiastically helped with our luggage. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, providing very professional and detailed explanations, and there was even staff to escort us to our room – excellent service! The hotel environment is beautiful, a stunning sight in itself (check out the photos!). It's clean and tidy, and the housekeeping staff are diligent and courteous. The breakfast buffet is extensive with a wide variety of dishes, and the Jiangnan-style specialties are exquisitely prepared, delicious, and unique. Oh, and since it was a weekend, the hotel also had a dinner buffet with many options like roast duck, salted duck, and braised pork ribs, all for just 99 yuan per person for hotel guests. There's also a Yangzhou cuisine restaurant on the ground floor, and their shredded dried tofu is delicious. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Nanjing.

The hotel is excellent and located in a very strategic area: restaurants, shops, and very close to the metro station and shopping malls. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom does its job perfectly. The highlight is the staff: very attentive and willing to ensure that the guest has an incredible experience. I received some sweets, I believe they are seasonal, and they were delicious and reinforced everything I had already been feeling: the warm and welcoming culture of the people of Nanjing. Thank you guys.

The room was very comfortable, high up with expansive views, and cozy decor. The front desk attendant was incredibly kind and friendly, even upgrading our room. She proactively asked if we needed any help and thoughtfully provided a local travel guide with routes from the hotel. The hotel's location is excellent. Turn right, and you're immediately on Hunan Road. Head east, and you can reach Xuanwumen Station on Metro Line 1 within 10 minutes, or even 5-6 if you walk quickly. It's just two stops to Nanjing Station and a few more to Nanjing South Station. You can also transfer to Line 2 at Xinjiekou to get to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. Xuanwu Lake Park is less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which is incredibly convenient. On our last day, we left the hotel at 9 AM, spent two hours exploring Xuanwu Lake, came back to check out, then had lunch at the nearby Phoenix Plaza before taking the metro to Nanjing Station for our 1 PM train – it was all very relaxed. Walking west from the hotel, you'll find a commercial area within ten minutes. There's even the original store of Jiming Tangbao (steamed buns). The prices are great; we got a set meal for 30+ RMB and an additional 'mountain bun,' which was more than enough for two. We also tried a delicious congee that looked like a Bagua symbol and had pine nuts in it – we were stuffed! Overall, it was a very satisfying choice.

We made a last-minute decision to visit Nanjing, so I quickly booked a hotel. When we arrived, the staff noticed that the queen-sized bed in our room wouldn't be comfortable for a family of three. The front desk was incredibly helpful and promptly changed us to a twin-bedded room. We were pleasantly surprised when we went upstairs – it felt like a huge upgrade! The room wasn't huge, but it was very cozy. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were a fantastic touch, giving us more privacy when showering. The room truly had a Zen-like feel, and it was perfect for taking photos with our child. Overall, it exceeded my expectations. Who says you can't find a great room with a last-minute booking? I definitely did, and I absolutely loved it!

Despite explicitly requesting a room not at the end of the hall or near the elevator, upon check-in, the staff immediately suggested an upgrade for 58 yuan, claiming the standard room type was old. This is the first time I've encountered a hotel passively demanding payment for an upgrade. Then, I was assigned a room on the 6th floor at the corner of the corridor. After requesting a change, I was moved to a room on the 4th floor, right outside the elevator. Returning in the evening, I asked the front desk if I could change rooms again. Before the staff could even answer, an engineering staff member, seemingly out of nowhere, interjected, saying all rooms were full and a change wasn't possible. The front desk staff then added that since I was only staying one night, a change couldn't be accommodated. Furthermore, the window only opens a tiny crack, and what I could see outside appeared to be a dumpster for food waste from a nearby area. How can hygiene be guaranteed under such circumstances? It's undeniable that its proximity to Fuzimiao Temple and the subway station is a plus. However, overall, the service awareness needs significant improvement, and the surrounding environment requires betterment.
