GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to get anywhere, with most attractions within an hour's reach. The Qinhuai River is right outside the door, and there's a great view from the rooftop too. The staff's service was also spot on; they greeted every guest who walked in and even helped us navigate to our desired destinations. We had heavy luggage, and a staff member very enthusiastically helped us push it to the entrance. Ordering takeout late at night was also a breeze, with robot delivery. Personally, I feel the breakfast could be improved; the variety isn't very extensive, and if you're staying for several days, eating the same few things can get a bit repetitive. But overall, everything was excellent, and if I come back to Nanjing, I'd definitely choose to stay here again!

GGuest UserStaying at the Suning Zhongshan Golf Hotel felt like stepping into a secluded European estate. Nestled at the foot of Zijin Mountain, the hotel boasts a serene and beautiful environment, with stunning views of the golf course. It's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a relaxing getaway. The service was exceptional, from the concierge to the room staff; every employee was warm, attentive, professional, and efficient, making us feel incredibly welcome. The dining was a delightful surprise – whether it was the extensive buffet at the Lan Ting all-day dining restaurant or the exquisite Huaiyang cuisine at Zijin Pavilion, the dishes were varied and of top-notch quality, exceeding all culinary expectations. This hotel is not only a paradise for golf enthusiasts but also an ideal choice for family vacations. Both the facilities and the overall experience were impeccable. Highly recommended!

CChuntianrannaifenBooked this place for a business trip to Nanjing and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, with a large bay window offering excellent natural light. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the shredded radish pancake was absolutely delicious! The lounge on the first floor was also very convenient for business meetings. My foreign colleague traveling with me also spoke highly of it. If I return to Nanjing, I would certainly choose to stay here again.

RRay.JiangThe room was quite spacious, and they provided a good range of amenities for children, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, bathrobes, slippers, a booster stool, and a toilet seat. Thumbs up for that. They kindly upgraded us to a deluxe king room for free and allowed a late check-out until 2 PM, which was great. The balcony in the room was huge, but it didn't have a foldable drying rack, which was a real inconvenience. There was nowhere to hang clothes after swimming. My suggestion is to provide a foldable drying rack. Another suggestion: for the outdoor water play area for kids, particularly at the waterwheel, it would be wonderful to add a small generator and lights. This way, as children play with the water circulation system, they can experience the effect of a hydroelectric power station – how water is transported up, then flows down, turning a turbine to generate electricity. This could also spark their interest in science while they play. However, I found a hair in the bacon during breakfast, which was a big disappointment.

GGuest UserWas hard to find as the taxi driver coming from the train station drops you at the crossing and doesn't tell you where to go. He probably doesn't know himself as it's in a pedestrian area and cars can't get to it. If you're getting dropped off from the station you'll need to cross the road and walk towards the pedestrian shopping area. I arrived early, they allowed me to check in early. Staff don't speak any English and don't attempt to translate using their phone nor give you their wechat hotel number to communicate. My mandarin is minimal. Breakfast wasn't communicated. I proceeded to my room. The room was dusty and didn't appear to have been cleaned. The room I booked had a mini bar but the one they assigned didn't. I went back to reception. Reception is on level 5. This is me guessing based on the sign board in Chinese characters by the lift when I first got there. There's only one lift. There are stairs which I didn't use. I told them that the room was dirty and missing a mini bar. They told me to wait 30 mins while they got another room ready. No hesitation, no fuss at all. The next room was a bit better. The room is dated and needs a makeover. The clothes rack is rusty, the bed spread had holes in it. I found lashes stuck on the table. There needs to be a bit more attention to detail with cleaning and dusting. They might only empty the bins, change the bedding. The shampoo bottle was empty. I didn't say anything because I was using my own shampoo. The walls are soundproof. It does get noisy with guests slamming their door, a pub is down stairs and people yell and toot their scooter horn. It's a great location by the river which is always busy. Lots of food choices. To catch a ride, you need to go to one of the many footpaths by the road. Breakfast was good for savoury taste buds. The noodles the first morning were hard and cold. The coffee machine takes three top ups to get a cup. It was pitiful. The gym is just one treadmill. The washing room was great. I got washing done. I stayed here three nights. It was OK for the price I paid.

GGuest UserI really want to recommend the Pullman at Lukou that I stayed at recently! First off, it's super convenient for anyone catching early morning or late-night flights. The signs in the terminal are very clear – it's on the 3rd floor, departures level, right between the two terminals. T2 is to your right when you exit, and T1 is to your left. There's also outdoor parking, and it was free the day I stayed. You can even take the airport luggage carts directly to your room, which is great for moving bags. The front desk staff, especially one young lady, was incredibly kind and checked us in quickly. She assigned my friend and me a great room, and all the staff were very friendly and polite. The soundproofing in the room is genuinely good. We were on the city view side, not facing the tarmac, but I also haven't seen any reviews complaining about noise from the tarmac side. The floor-to-ceiling window can't be opened because the police require double-glazed soundproof glass, which is pretty effective. The mattress had just the right firmness, so I slept really well. The room was spacious and clean, and the amenities were complete and well-maintained. The breakfast selection was extensive, and you can even get a packed breakfast if you're leaving before 6 AM, which is very handy. This is definitely my top choice for business travel by plane; the experience was absolutely fantastic. I'll be staying here again next time I'm in Nanjing.

GGuest UserStaying at The Ritz-Carlton, Nanjing, has long been a dream of mine, so I've been following it closely and often checking reviews on Ctrip. This time, returning from a recuperation trip in Hangzhou, the timing was perfect. I booked the hotel a day in advance, and about half an hour later, I received a call. It was Ms. Xu Jinglei from the hotel's 'Your Service Center.' Her voice was as pleasant as her name sounds – sweet and captivating. Her warm and engaging demeanor made me feel like I had already checked in, even before arriving at the hotel. She first inquired about my itinerary, my preferences for the hotel stay, and any special requests I might have. Thanks to our excellent initial communication, we chatted extensively about other aspects of life and travel experiences. She also briefly introduced the hotel's dining specialties, mentioning that both of their restaurants had recently earned one Michelin star – one for Huaiyang cuisine and the other for Cantonese. She even pre-booked a table for me at the Huaiyang restaurant. Her thoughtful service and attentive actions completely built up my anticipation for the stay! I arrived at the hotel at noon the next day, and the front desk quickly processed my check-in. My room was arranged on the 49th floor in a prime, 'C-position' location. As soon as I entered, the hotel had specially prepared a welcoming ambiance for me. Rose petals were scattered on the desk and coffee table, filling the air with their unique and refreshing fragrance. There were also two cards, each with a heartfelt and delightful greeting. The animal-shaped towel art on the bed was lifelike and adorable, and the fruit plate was beautifully presented with fresh, juicy fruits. The hotel also gifted me a lion mascot (the emblem of The Ritz-Carlton, symbolizing wealth, dignity, and royalty), which I absolutely loved. I often say that when wealth isn't an issue, the thought put into things and the small gifts given are truly priceless and precious, especially gifts like these that can't be bought on the market. The hotel's special customization makes them even more meaningful. Looking out the window, the magnificent ancient city of Jinling unfolded before me – a skyline of skyscrapers, the serene Xuanwu Lake mirroring the sky, and bustling traffic on the main roads. The vast vista was filled with lush greenery and rolling hills, making me feel like I was living in a grand green world, witnessing the city's rapid progress and thriving prosperity. This hotel can be considered the skyline of Nanjing and an iconic building for this luxurious city. It's connected to Deji Plaza, the largest and most high-end mall in Jiangsu, forming a powerful alliance between a luxury hotel and a premium commercial complex, greatly convenience for business travelers from all directions. I've stayed in many hotels, such as The Peninsula Beijing, Raffles City Chongqing, The Ritz-Carlton, Xi'an, and Fairmont Peace Hotel, Shanghai, but compared to these, The Ritz-Carlton, Nanjing, still stands out, and I would even call it a benchmark for luxury hotels in China. The room décor exudes understated luxury. The seemingly effortless hard and soft furnishings reveal exquisite craftsmanship, meticulous material selection, and elegant yet stately and profound colors. The bedding was incredibly comfortable; waking up feeling refreshed isn't something every hotel can achieve. The hotel's breakfast was also remarkable. The dishes were exquisite, ingredients fresh, with scientifically balanced and nutritious Chinese options, and soft, delicious Western pastries, still warm from the oven with their unique baking aroma. Even the tableware was specially customized, reflecting noticeable quality. The dining environment was serene, enjoying a beautiful breakfast 'above the clouds' in the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, which truly sets the tone for a delightful day. Therefore, all these wonderful experiences and achievements, besides the hotel's inherent advantages, owe a great deal to the wonderful Ms. Xu Jinglei. Her sincerity, her dedication, her guest-centric approach, her passion for her work, her tireless spirit, and her consistent, comprehensive service style make her an invaluable professional talent for a luxury hotel. I hope the hotel commends her!

GGuest UserThis stay truly exceeded all my expectations. The overall design is a new-Chinese Zen style, with wooden grilles in the public corridors, marble floors, and warm wood accents. Walking through feels quiet and elegant, with bamboo groves and greenery visible everywhere, and lush green views outside the windows. The private dining rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the dense mountain forests, so whether you're dining or relaxing, you're enveloped by nature – the ambiance is absolutely incredible. The private dining rooms are spacious and airy, offering panoramic views of the garden. The round tables are perfect for family gatherings or business dinners, with complete tableware and a tranquil environment. The dishes taste great, the ingredients are fresh, and the dining experience is excellent. The room corridors are quiet and tidy, with ample natural light, and the soft furnishings feel high-end, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The hotel's outdoor courtyard is shaded by ancient trees, and the entrance is rustic yet grand. Every step reveals a new view, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. It's suitable for both leisure vacations and business trips, with outstanding scenery, rooms, and food. The value for money is exceptional, and I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserChoosing Sawmill was absolutely the right decision! It's a standalone building, with separate floors for men and women, and you need a key card to access them. The staff at the front desk were very patient during check-in and explained everything. You can get laundry detergent and earplugs from the reception. They also offer luggage storage, and the lockers are free for up to 8 hours. The beds have privacy curtains, so you can create your own little space. The bathrooms are equipped with hair dryers, and they even thoughtfully remind you of the usage times so as not to disturb others late at night. The common area on the second floor is great for working, and you can occasionally look out at the big trees outside the window to relax. Overall, it's excellent. I'll definitely choose Sawmill again on my next visit!

SSpongebobsquarepantsFive-Day Stay in Nanjing Check-in Experience We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee. Accommodation We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit: Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property. RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games. **Ratings** Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities. Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout. Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days. **Things to Consider** It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center. If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include: - ATV rides - Fishing area - Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter) - Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry) - Train ride (30 RMB) The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car. **Challenges We Faced** My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available. However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.
