"My husband and I traveled to Nanjing for 5 days, and we stayed at the Jinling Hotel for 4 nights. Initially, I was worried that an older hotel might be dated and unclean, but after checking in, I realized my concerns were unfounded. We stayed in the Asia Pacific Tower, which is relatively newer and very good, with complete facilities, quiet surroundings, and tidy, clean items. We had two full meals at the hotel. One was at Meiyuan, where the food was incredibly authentic, and the staff were very polite and attentive, quickly approaching to ask about our needs with just a glance or gesture. The other meal was the semi-buffet seafood hotpot on the hotel's 56th floor. Firstly, the seafood was extremely fresh, and the quality of the dishes was very high. The ambiance was also impeccable; being on the 56th floor, enjoying the food while gazing at Nanjing's night view was an absolute pleasure. Furthermore, I must mention the service at the restaurant, especially a young lady named Vicky Xu. She was proactive, enthusiastic, provided excellent service, was smiling and polite, and attended to every request – truly wonderful. She deserves absolute praise!"

"Traveling to Nanjing, I chose Qinhuai Renjia, and I was truly not disappointed. The Chinese courtyard environment is elegant, with beautiful scenery at every turn. The rooms are clean, and the bedding is comfortable. The front desk staff are enthusiastic and even provided thoughtful suggestions for local attractions. It's very close to the Qinhuai River, making night tours incredibly convenient and allowing for an immersive experience of the Qinhuai culture. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit."

"The lake view at InterContinental Nanjing is always stunning. It's beautiful under a bright sun, and even more ethereal and charming on a rainy day, with the majestic Purple Mountain in the background. The service in the executive lounge is noticeably superior to the ground floor lobby, a good three or four levels up. The bathtub in the executive room is also excellent, comparable to what you'd find at the Banyan Tree on the Bund, which costs around 4000 [currency unit]. If I had to pick a fault, it's that the hotel is almost eighteen years old now. Even with excellent maintenance, like someone well-preserved on social security, there are inevitably some signs of aging."

"UR Cove is one of the highest quality hotels around Nanjing South Railway Station. I highly recommend this hotel it you are coming to Nanjing South. The location is fantastic, it is a very short walk from Nanjingnan Station and is situated on a commercial building lot. On the lower floors there are plenty of places to eat, get coffee and even get documents printed. The price for the service and quality of the stay is exceptional value for money. The staff are extremely friendly and service orientated. As a foreign person with a very limited Mandarin vocabulary the staff acted with diligence, and patience and found a way to communicate with me effectively ensuring checking was smooth. The hotel added me to thier WeChat and I was able to communicate with them throught this method. I found that when I asked a question, they answered promptly and went that extra step further providing map pins of locations I was asking about as well as photos of the buildings. The customer service experience didn't end there. Having extended my stay after my original booking. I thought I would need to Check-Out then Check-in again, but when I spoke to the staff, they confirmed I could keep the same room.and just renew my room key card. The process was very simple. Now for the facilities. The rooms are modern with tile throughout. They have a smart toilet with Bidet feature, a large generous shower, a vanity basin with a Make-up light for the ladies. There is a desk and a chair in the room which are both very comfortable. The bed is large and spacious although at 180cm I was close to hanging over the end of the bed but that is no fault of the hotel. The bed is soft and comfortable and provides a great nights sleep especially after a long high-speed rail journey. House keeping has been fantastic, they come and clean the room daily and do a fantastic job. The hotel also has a pair.of delivery robots so if you want to order food you can with out any hassles. The overall feel of the UR Cove hotel is that of a modern contemporary hotel with modern facilities and a warm, welcoming friendly environment. There is also a self services laundry and a gym within the hotel so all your needs are met. I highly recommend this hotel."

"This hotel is conveniently located in the Xinjiekou city center, making it easy to catch a taxi or find places to eat. The airport's S3 line has direct access to it. The front desk service is responsive and addresses issues promptly. They are professional, polite, and enthusiastic. The breakfast selection is sufficient and the taste is good. Overall, it offers great value for money with no major complaints. When traveling, feeling safe and comfortable is paramount, and this hotel is worth recommending. I would consider staying here again on future visits."

"Stepping into the courtyard of Building No. 5, you're immediately enveloped in a strong ”Republic of China” (1912-1949) atmosphere. Inside the guest room, from the louvered doors and windows to all the faucets, and even the toilet, it's astonishing how completely immersed you are in this era. This is further complemented by the surrounding streets like Yihe Road, which also exude a ”Republic of China” charm. I hope the service details can be further refined, such as providing a historical overview of the hotel area to create a unique ”calling card,” improving the welcoming experience and breakfast, and seasonally adjusting the bedding (the duvet felt too thick and heavy during my stay)."

"The hotel is about a 7-8 minute walk from the subway station. We didn't take the subway, but there's a bus stop nearby, not far from the hotel entrance. A taxi to Nanjing South Station wasn't expensive, under 20 RMB for a 20-minute ride, so pretty affordable. Xiao Gao at the front desk was very diligent and responsible. We arrived at the hotel around 3 PM, and she promptly checked if our room was ready, upgraded our room type, and even gave us free breakfast for signing up as a member – we really appreciated that. The room was quite spacious. Although it faced a street, it was surprisingly quiet with the windows closed, so the soundproofing of the windows and doors was quite good. The washing machines and gym are on the 9th floor. You have to take the elevator to the 8th floor, walk through some guest rooms, and then take the stairs up, which is a little inconvenient. Also, the air conditioning on the 9th floor wasn't on, and washing clothes seemed to take 30 minutes. There were quite a few guests doing laundry in the evening, so waiting in that stuffy environment was a bit uncomfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good, with plenty of choices. On the second morning, I remembered that coffee was included and they made me a fresh-ground coffee, which was really nice and tasted much better than coffee from an automatic machine. The only downside was that there were some small mosquitoes or flies hovering around and even landing on the cold dishes, fruits, and bread. I feel this is an area for improvement. I stayed at five other hotels of similar or even slightly lower quality on this trip and never encountered this issue. However, I did see a staff member diligently taking photos of the restaurant and food, so I hope they're monitoring the situation and will pay attention to this in the future, as my family really likes your hotel and we hope to stay again. Additionally, there's an Old City South restaurant downstairs that serves good food. Across from the hotel, there's also a takeaway shop where you can buy Qingtuan and other snacks, which is very convenient."

"My trip to Nanjing this time was mainly for Na Ying's concert. Besides the Nanjing Museum, I skipped all the other popular attractions, dedicating my time instead to areas with a strong local vibe, like the Ming Palace Ruins Park and Xiaoxihu. For accommodation, I chose The Lalu, which is a bit out of the city center. This actually put me closer to the concert venue, but more importantly, I wanted to set aside some time for a hotel staycation. The Lalu certainly didn't disappoint. The unbeatable river view goes without saying, and strolling through the gardens was an excellent experience; taking my time, I even stumbled upon a weekend celadon ocarina performance. The Water Sha Lian Chinese restaurant was also unexpectedly good; almost every dish was impressive. By the end, I was even seriously contemplating which dishes would be suitable to pack and take back to Beijing. On the second morning at The Lalu, there was a small hiccup, but the customer service manager quickly stepped in with a solution, and the communication was very sincere. So, it didn't affect the overall experience at all. I really have to commend them for that; it actually made me trust their service capabilities even more, and I'm now planning to visit The Lalu in Qingdao for another experience."

This is for the reference of friends choosing a hotel for their travels. Overall, the breakfast at this Holiday Inn is above average for chain hotels in its price range. Thanks to its integration with the Shuiyou City complex, the dining environment and food variety are solid, with few misses, but it also has some clear shortcomings. Let's start with the pros. First, the variety is comprehensive, with a balanced mix of Chinese and Western options, not just simple buns and porridge. The Chinese section offers local Nanjing specialties like duck blood vermicelli soup, soup dumplings (xiaolongbao), and red bean dumplings (chìdòu yuánxiāo). You don't need to wake up early and search for old establishments outside; you can taste local flavors right at the hotel. The hot dishes area has stir-fries, steamed dim sum, and various grains, with a full range of steamed buns, siomai, and zongzi, suitable for seniors and children. The noodle station offers freshly cooked alkaline noodles with customizable soup bases and toppings. The collaboration with Songhe Tower ensures consistent quality, and a hot bowl of noodles in the morning is very filling. The Western area includes bread, toast, yogurt, fruits, cold cuts, freshly ground American coffee, and drinks like milk and juice – a sufficiently diverse selection. The dining environment is also worth mentioning. The breakfast area is on the fifth floor of the hotel, offering spaciousness and ample seating distance, so it doesn't get overly crowded or noisy even during peak hours. Window seats offer views of the street below. After breakfast, you can directly access the Shuiyou City mall, making it convenient for a post-meal stroll or grocery shopping. The cleaning staff are quick to clear tables, ensuring timely plate removal and preventing clutter. Now for the cons. Firstly, during peak hours, some dishes are refilled slowly. During the weekend breakfast rush (7-8 AM), popular items like soup dumplings and fried eggs often run out, requiring a wait for replenishment. The fruit selection is quite basic, with only common items like watermelon, oranges, and cantaloupe. While their freshness is acceptable, premium seasonal fruits are missing. Secondly, some hot dishes are a bit bland, and their heat retention is mediocre; near closing time, the food noticeably gets cold. Thirdly, there's a queue for fried eggs and made-to-order omelets. Staffing is limited, leading to longer wait times during peak periods. In terms of details, the self-service cutlery is clean and tidy, the self-service areas are clearly marked, and the food flow is well-designed. It's very family-friendly, offering special treats and small breads for children, along with mild porridges suitable for kids' palates. For guests whose room rates include breakfast, this standard fully justifies the price. At around 400+ RMB on non-holidays, being able to enjoy local specialties and a freshly cooked noodle station offers great value for money. However, when room rates increase during peak seasons, the breakfast quality doesn't improve accordingly, which makes the value seem slightly diminished. In summary, if you're visiting Fuzimiao and don't want the hassle of waking up early to find breakfast, this hotel's breakfast fully meets your needs. You can eat well and heartily, and taste Nanjing specialties all in one go, saving time and effort. Those with extremely picky tastes might find it ordinary, but as a standard buffet breakfast for a chain hotel, it's generally satisfactory and exceeds expectations, making it a significant plus for the hotel."
