UrCove By Hyatt Nanjing Zhongshanling Resort ★★★★
"This hotel is a charming Republican-era building, very convenient for visiting attractions around Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. The facilities are excellent, and the service, especially from Milk, was outstanding – five-star indeed! One day was too short; you really need at least two nights to fully enjoy it. They upgraded us to a family room, which was perfect for our whole family."

Celebrity City Hotel Nanjing
"The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. For the same price, I'd rather stay at Atour. The shower head kept falling off, and the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a thousand years – it was disgustingly dirty. Nothing about this place was good – not the service, not the environment, not the facilities. Delivery orders took at least two hours to arrive; it was absolutely terrible. The only upside was the view outside the window."
InterContinental Hotels NANJING by IHG
"Good location and easy transport to other places. Super beautiful view from LV 45 platform."
Golden Eagle International Hotel
"I randomly picked the Golden Eagle International Hotel for my trip to Nanjing, and it was such a great choice! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Xinjiekou, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and taking the subway to attractions. The room was spacious and clean, and the high-floor, floor-to-ceiling windows offered an amazing night view. It was a comfortable stay, and the Lumi service was also very friendly. I'd definitely stay here again next time – five-star recommendation!"
Kempinski Hotel Nanjing
"This is the most like a 4-star hotel among all the 5-star hotels I've stayed at. First, nobody helped with my luggage, and this happened several times. There was no doorman at the lobby entrance. Second, my room key card stopped working multiple times, about two or three times. Each time, I had to go down to find a staff member. Third, the curtains were broken. Fourth, housekeeping would consistently knock on our door every morning, even before we woke up. One afternoon, they knocked again, and when we said we'd prefer later, the housekeeper said she was about to go off duty 🤣🤣. Fifth, it took over half an hour for bath towels to be delivered after I called for them. Throughout all this, the front desk staff showed no concern. Sixth, when checking out, I handed the room card to a woman in a red uniform who said she would process our check-out. Three hours later, I called the hotel, and they told me the check-out hadn't been completed. I have to ask, what exactly was that woman at the front desk doing? After staying for four consecutive days, this hotel is completely blacklisted 🤣🤣🤣. In summary, this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣."
Homeinn UP Huayi Smart Travel Hotel (Nanjing Lukou Airport Branch)
"The hotel offered airport pick-up and drop-off service, and the next day, as we were getting ready to leave, the driver told me there was one extra person and that my partner should hold me after getting in the car. I said it wouldn't be convenient, and the driver immediately said it was a free service, meaning it was take it or leave it. We're both adults, and the whole car was full of people; do you think it's convenient for you? How come there were only two extra people on the bus? When we arrived, there were plenty of empty seats. Even with one extra person, according to the first-come, first-served rule, we shouldn't have had to give up our seats. Why should we? If you're looking for airport pick-up and drop-off service, check out other hotels and avoid bad ones!"
Jinling Mandarin Garden Hotel Nanjing
"This is an old-school five-star hotel with an excellent location and even better service. They knew we were traveling with a child and upgraded us for free to a twin room with 1.5-meter beds."
Yihe garden
"The hotel was incredibly accommodating. I originally booked a room with one breakfast, but upon arrival, they upgraded my room and even gave me an extra breakfast free of charge, which was a really pleasant surprise and something you don't often find – I was very satisfied! The hotel is right on the edge of the scenic area, offering a quiet environment, yet it's right outside the entrance to the attractions. They also have a lovely little garden that's perfect for photos. Highly recommend!"
Floral Hotel · Nanjing pipahang Boutique Hotel
"The hotel is conveniently located next to the Confucius Temple scenic area, making it easy to visit. It's clean and hygienic, and has a round bathtub, which my child enjoyed. The viewing platform offers views of the surrounding nightscape. Parking is a bit inconvenient, but the hotel will confirm your car availability as soon as they receive your booking."
Vienna International Hotel (Nanjing Tangshan Hot Spring Resort)
"The hotel is clean, the bed is comfortable, Sun Juan is warm and friendly, smiling all the time, very good, thumbs up 👍"
Pullman Nanjing Lukou Airport
Directly connected to the international terminal, this highly efficient transit hotel is prized for its soundproofed guest rooms and unparalleled logistical convenience for early morning flight departures.
Nanjing Tangshan Hentique Spring Valley Hotel
"I booked this last minute, after a back-and-forth between the Westin and Hantian. I ultimately chose Hantian because the rooms are a bit larger. Plus, I had a great experience at the Hantian in Liyang before. **Facilities:** The toilet isn't automatic, which is fine, but the flush button is a bit finicky; you have to press it for 5 seconds to flush. The shower has a strange smell, and the water pressure isn't great. However, the double vanity is a nice touch, and the hairdryer, though a basic model, gets the job done. The bathtub is quite large and deep, perfect for relaxing. We visited the nearby hot spring the next day, and it was quite disappointing, not nearly as good as the hot spring at Liyang Hantian. The bedding is good, and there's a capsule coffee machine. **Cleanliness:** Very clean. **Environment:** It's very close to the old town, and there's a nice hot spring park nearby. The hotel's own environment is just average, facing an empty lot. The air has high levels of negative oxygen ions. The room I booked didn't have a view. **Service:** This deserves special praise. The service was excellent. When parking or getting into the car, they proactively helped with luggage. The concierge on WeChat was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions. The front desk service was also great, very patient, and the food recommendations were delicious. The package included a dinner, and the staff even helped us figure out the most cost-effective way to use it. We couldn't finish all the food, haha. **Breakfast:** They have old duck vermicelli soup, which tastes great, not inferior to outside shops. Other varieties were very average, even a bit poor. Jīanbing guǒzi (fried pancake rolls) weren't available for two consecutive days, perhaps because there weren't many guests, so they stopped making them. The dinner, on the other hand, was delicious. We added a dish of 'Jiang Baixia' (river white shrimp) for 128 yuan, and the portion was very generous."
Lakeview Xuanwu Hotel
"The hotel check-in colleague, I believe his name is Mr Zhu (see his card), was really pleasant mannered and helpful. He looked at my special request that I am allergic to cigarette smells and took an initiative to get me a non-smoking room. He even asked his colleague to take me to the room to check the environment first. This guest-oriented service attitude is praise worthy."
Starway Light Hotel (Nanjing Hot Spring Resort, Tangshan Subway Station)
"The hotel location is great, close to the subway station, and convenient for parking if you're driving. The room was clean and tidy, and the 2m large bed was perfect for sleeping with kids. All the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful. Here's a small detail that stood out: I bought half a watermelon one evening, and after eating it, I left the rind at the door for housekeeping to throw away. In the morning, I found that they had washed the spoon I used, placed it on a mat, and left it back at the door. Big shout-out to the hotel staff!"
Pod Inn Hotel (Nanjing South Station North Plaza Window of Greenland)
"Highly not recommended. This is a partitioned space carved out of an office, with absolutely no soundproofing. I could hear every word from next door clearly, which I could tolerate. What I couldn't stand was how unhygienic the bedding seemed to be; I started itching all over shortly after entering the room. I was too tired to bother moving. The only upside is its proximity to the high-speed rail station."
HanTing Hotel (Nanjing Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum Maqun Subway Station)
"Staying at the new Hanting 4.0 exceeded my expectations. The lobby is simple and bright, and the open-plan environment is very comfortable. Self-check-in was convenient and quick. The room was clean and tidy, with a gentle and elegant decor. The mattress was just right, not too soft or too hard, and the soundproofing at night was good, allowing for a peaceful rest. The smart home system was easy to use, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with stable hot water. The staff were enthusiastic and polite. It's excellent value for money, making it a reliable choice for business trips. I'll definitely choose to stay here again."
