"The Grand Metropark Hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance to all of Jinan's famous attractions. Being a high-rise, its top-floor revolving restaurant offers stunning views of the Jiefang Pavilion, Chaoran Tower, Daming Lake, and Qianfo Mountain. The elevated position also means street noise doesn't reach the rooms, making them incredibly quiet. The hotel service is also very good. Our room came with 10 bottles of mineral water and a welcome fruit platter. The room itself is spacious, with a completely separate bedroom and bathroom area. The bathtub, shower, sink, and toilet occupy a large space, truly reflecting the essence of a five-star hotel. The front desk staff, especially one lovely lady, was exceptional. On our first day, we arrived early, and she encouraged us to go sight-seeing first, even kindly giving us directions to Qianfo Mountain. When we returned, our luggage had already been placed in our room. After check-out, she even gave us a bag of snacks. A big thank you to the wonderful lady! The photos included were taken from the restaurant, showcasing the Jiefang Pavilion, Chaoran Tower, Daming Lake, and Qianfo Mountain."

"Taking advantage of the May Day holiday, I took two days of annual leave early to visit Jinan. After a comprehensive evaluation, I chose this hotel. Right outside the hotel entrance, to the left, is one of the Daming Lake gates. There's an executive suite with a terrace that offers lake views, and the environment is lovely. The front desk is quite small, so if there are multiple guests checking in simultaneously, you might have to wait a bit, which can be slow. The breakfast is quite unique; it's not a buffet, likely due to the hotel's limited space. The restaurant is in the basement, and while it's quiet enough, it feels a bit dim and oppressive; I prefer brighter settings. There are two private rooms that offer direct views of the peacocks kept by the hotel. All the staff wear Hanfu, some of whom are quite beautiful, and the service is attentive. The complimentary snacks were good. Before leaving, I bought some of the hotel's Ejiao dates, pancakes, and Wuhei Shaqima (a type of pastry) as gifts for friends. Overall, it was a good stay, and I'd consider choosing this place again next time. I didn't try the travel photography service, but the complimentary afternoon tea was decent."

The rooms are fully equipped, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom features a separate wet and dry area. The service is warm and professional; the front desk staff patiently recommended local attractions and even gifted us boat tickets. It's about a 10-minute walk north along the river to Daming Lake, and a 6-minute walk south to Black Tiger Spring, Jiefang Pavilion, and Kuanhouli. The commercial street is just to the west. The breakfast selection is quite varied. Overall, I highly recommend staying here.

Baotu Spring, Daming Lake, Baihua Island, Kuanhouli, and Jiefang Pavilion are all within walking distance. For dining and shopping, Henglong Plaza, Shimao Plaza, and Guihe Shopping Centre are also conveniently close. It was a real time and effort saver during our holiday trip. Overall, the environment and service were quite good. Parking was a bit tight during the holiday season, but that's understandable. The room was clean and tidy, a comfortable size, and the temperature was just right, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were professional and efficient, and Quality Control Manager Connie provided warm and thoughtful service. My family and I had a great overall experience. If we visit Jinan again, we'll definitely choose this hotel. InterContinental gets our support!

GGuest UserThe location is super convenient, right by Daming Lake and close to all the attractions. The room had an air purifier, and surprisingly, even a dryer, which was incredibly handy for drying clothes right in the room! The breakfast was the biggest surprise – so many varieties! There were ten different soups alone, plus grilled sausages, braised pork with rice, everything! The lamb soup was a special highlight, and the freshly made egg pancakes and vegetable pancakes were excellent. There are plenty of restaurants directly across from the hotel, and a small market behind it where you can buy steamed buns and pastries. On the way back, I even picked up a bag of Dezhou braised chicken to snack on during the trip home! The staff were very responsive to any requests or issues, and housekeeping staff member number 12 provided excellent service. It's also great that the hotel provides large bottles of water.

Just a few meters from the back exit, you can see the Superb Pavilion across the lake, which is absolutely beautiful. A 10-minute walk around the lake will take you to the South Gate. Across from the South Gate is Qushuiting Street. Following this street leads directly to Furong Street, and then Baotu Spring. The hotel's location is excellent. The environment is also fantastic, featuring a tatami area. Sitting on the tatami, sipping tea, basking in the sun, and gazing at the lake feels incredibly relaxing. The service attitude is great too; any issues brought to the front desk are actively addressed and resolved!

You don’t need to find parking spaces everywhere. Secondly, the environment is beautiful. It is surrounded by the lake on three sides. You can watch the beautiful sunrise of Snowy Lake in the hotel. Then the facilities are also very complete, even there is a refrigerator, it is really cost-effective, I live really comfortable, in the end, the five-star praise is not enough to give this service attitude, I said can I give me a charger, plug in USB cable, the front desk said no problem, I said that my foot twisted, Is there any damage to the injury, such as Yunnan Baiyao or safflower oil, the front desk said, there is Yunnan Baiyao to pass you over, I said that your hotel breakfast is 38, right, the front desk said yes, not cheap, you can choose to go to the town, there is breakfast, I said so early, there will be no in the town, the front desk said, There should be in town, but we have late breakfast here. So many times I compare my heart to my heart, because this hotel also has a restaurant called Meishunxiang.
