GGuest UserI'm an American here in China studying kung fu for the year and took a trip to Jinan for a short weekend getaway to unwind a bit. I really enjoyed the Atour Light hotel! It's my second time staying in an Atour hotel and I have once again been left wanting for nothing. My Chinese is actually atrocious but the front desk staff was helpful and kind. The room was clean and, I must say, I generally really hate bathrooms and need to wear a pair of slippers just to enter the facility but this has not been the case at either of the Atour hotels I've stayed at. The ambience is great, the amenities perfect for what I was looking for, and the location beyond excellent. Local food stops right outside the gate of the hotel and, if you're a westerner looking for something familiar, McDonald's is right around the corner too. No need for that though, the local feed hits the spot. All that to say, I have no complaints. Great service, great room, great location. 10/10 recommend.

GGuest UserHad such a comfortable stay at this hotel! The service was incredibly warm and attentive; any request was met with immediate assistance. The amenities were comprehensive – charging outlets and a hairdryer were readily available and very convenient to use. The room was spotlessly clean: the sheets and pillowcases were pristine, and the desk surfaces gleamed. Breakfast was hot and hearty, featuring soy milk, steamed meat buns, and boiled eggs. The late-night congee service was a particularly thoughtful touch. The environment was also very quiet; there was no noise at night, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. I'll definitely choose this hotel again!

AAnonymous UserIt was a failure to check in. The room was very cold and it showed that it had air conditioning. The temperature was 13 degrees even if it was turned on on the first night. The next day I went to the staff and was told that the main switch of the air conditioner was not turned on and that the air conditioner was a decoration. His house had floor heating, so he asked the maintenance man to turn on the floor heating again on the second night. The room temperature on the second night was 16 degrees, still in the middle of the room, and it was about 12 degrees near the seats. I felt cold. The door lock of the bathroom is broken. If the door is not locked, it cannot be opened from the outside. The front desk has to use tools to open the door. The staff said that this happens often, which delays the work. The worst thing is that the decoration was very noisy when the guests checked in, which affected their rest. I don’t know what materials were used during the construction during the day, and they floated into the room and irritated the eyes, causing tears in the eyes.

GGuest UserEnvironment: It takes less than 5 minutes to get to the Laotun subway station, which is very convenient. Hygiene: The room is spacious, clean and tidy, and you can see that it is cleaned frequently. I soaked in the bathtub after a tiring day, which was very comfortable 😌, and I felt that every pore was taken care of. Service: I checked in at almost 11 o'clock in the evening. The waiter was very friendly and not impatient at all. When I entered the room, I saw the prepared snacks. People who like to eat midnight snacks said it was very heartwarming 🥰 Facilities: The do not disturb function in the room is really great. I can sleep until the sun rises the next day. It's really great. Once the curtains are drawn, no one loves them. The airtightness is great. When I left, the souvenirs I was given included masks. Tears welled up in my eyes🥹. I didn't expect there would be so many catkins in Jinan when I came here, so I didn't prepare them. I didn't expect the hotel to be so considerate and prepare them. When I arrived near Baotu Spring, there were as many catkins as the wind. Thanks to the hotel for providing them😷🥳 I will come to this hotel again next time I come to Jinan. The bed is very comfortable and everything is great. I don't want to leave😋

GGuest UserHotel location is good, not very far from attractions. Good service and breakfast! Cleaner lady is very friendly and helpful. Downside: it’s very old and needs renovation! The lobby looks dark and old, only four seats at the lobby and mostly occupied. Should have put more chairs for people to sit and rest! Washing machines and the dryer are not functioning well, the weather was hot so we needed to wash cloth often, it took a few hours to wash and dry, very inconvenient!

JJuruitZaandamComfortable stay with great service – a few minor hiccups I had a pleasant stay at Manxin Hotel near Jinan West Railway Station. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made me feel welcome right away. The check-in process took surprisingly long—about 15 minutes—even though there were four staff members at the front desk. I'm not sure why it was so complicated, but they remained polite and professional throughout. The building looks decent from the outside, but inside it's truly excellent: clean, modern, and stylish. The location is convenient, just about 300 meters from the station entrance, although finding the way there was a bit confusing due to some disorganized signage and layout outside. My room was comfortable and well-equipped, although it did smell faintly of smoke, which was a downside. Overall, a positive experience with great hospitality. I’d stay again, especially if they could streamline the check-in and ensure smoke-free rooms.

It is backed by the famous Black Tiger Spring and is close to Quancheng Square and Baotu Spring. The hotel room is spacious and the bed is clean. The bathroom in the room I booked is spacious and smell-free. The staff in the lobby are polite and thoughtful. The breakfast is rich and delicious. It is suitable for business trips and accommodation! good!

GGuest UserOur traveling party of 5 booked 2 rooms. Although our daughters are now grown-up, they enjoyed the family theme, with toys, a small rocking horse (and foam carpet to protect young kids in case of a fall) and cute pillow case and blanket cover - perfect for families with young kids too (the bed is normal size, so teenagers can use it too, without a problem). Rooms were spacious and clean, staff was welcoming and helpful. This is ”the only table tennis themed hotel in China”, so if you want to practice, you can bring your equipment, tables are there, waiting for you (in fact, the National team came to train here). The buffet breakfast was huge, and with multiple food options to satisfy both Western and Chinese tastes. Access from the airport was convenient, a 1-hr bus ride to across the road, and right next to the hotel to go back to Jinan airport, but do check the timing because it seems like every hour or so only. Baotu spring is a 10-15min walk away, so it's a decent location to explore the city too. We will certainly book this hotel for a future Jinan holiday !

MMICHAEL F P SWEENEYThe hotel is conveniently situated 15 minutes away from the airport by the hotel shuttle bus, situated in an industrial area close to the airport. The hotel itself was great, clean, and comfortable, and had all the things you needed for a good stay and overnight quiet sleep. The room itself was great. I had some confusion when I got up in the morning to get the shuttle bus to the airport at 5.30 am But was told the only shuttle bus had left at 5 am! Why did someone not clearly explain this to me? Most hotels I have stayed at near the airport in the past, have shuttle buses every 30 minutes to the airport in the early mornings. I sought the help of the young girl receptionist to assist me in getting a taxi quickly. But she seemed annoyed that I had disturbed her early morning routine when she was only interested in completing her phone video game! And not helping me! Unbelievable! The girl receptionist said that the Hotel does not have a contact taxi service. I gave the receptionist my phone and she finally found a taxi service and I made it to the airport. My Chinese was not good enough to do all this myself. But overall, a good nights stay and a good hotel.

GGuest UserThe worse hotel i ever had. First, the hotel is 15 years old which do not give a good feeling of goodlooking and cleanliness. Room is dark and found the bed **** broken. The leaving day, i fall down between the entrance and the bathroom access. There was a water leakage from the ceiling and i was wearing sleeper. Luckily only my glasses got broken. Management did not take it very seriously, just handle the fix my glasses to nearest shop. I will not recommand to any people I want claim for compensation/reimbursement
