"I love the atmosphere and vibe of this hotel. The idea of friendships being formed is lovely, free games to play on site and money off food & drinks is a win.
Super comfortable bed, great shower and rooms aren’t small either. You get more than most here."
"This hotel offers a great experience with its cleanliness, convenient location, and well-managed parking facility. The rooms and common areas are kept spotless, making for a comfortable stay. Situated in a prime area, it provides easy access to nearby attractions, shopping, and dining options. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, you'll appreciate the accessibility to transportation and key landmarks. Additionally, the on-site parking is hassle-free, with ample space and easy entry and exit, making it ideal for guests traveling by car. Overall, this hotel combines cleanliness, a great location, and convenient parking to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay."
"Shame on a hot evening the swimming pool not open later
The air con was really poor and noisy, windows were open on arrival letting in the hot air, air con should have been on instead but given it was so poor no wonder! no offer of a fan
no parking avaiable i.m disabled and the car park discounted was a 15 min walk for me"
"Good location and very central. However, the facilities are quite basic for the price you pay. Breakfast was basic and I'd go out for breakfast next time."
"Really nice place, easy access everywhere and super friendly staff. The pool was great and the steak was amazing, the views were beautiful and the cozy room was needed for this weekend. Would stay for longer next time and would 100% go for weekend trips again. Really lovely."
"Located in the city center, a five-minute walk from the train station, there are many surrounding living facilities. The rooms are clean and well-equipped and cleaned once a week. There is no air conditioner and the temperature in Britain has been high recently, which is a bit difficult to receive. In addition, the surrounding bars were full of enthusiasm and it was not until the middle of the night that they could be quiet."
"We booked a period of 5 days, including Christmas, as we were looking for a comfortable and calm place.
At first they put us in tower number 6 in apartment 6B, but it was extremely noisy. The floor creaked too much.
The apartment is spacious. it was very clean and the staff seems to be very professional, there is also a security guard who is in the parking lot, but this detail with the floor and the acoustics left something to be desired.
They moved us to the top floor, 6C, to try to alleviate the noise problem, but when other guests entered 6B, it was possible to hear the TV, the conversation, the floor, everything!
So if you are someone who needs tranquility and a little silence to work, look elsewhere.
P-S: The TV is not smart and has almost no channel options, the dishwasher did not work.
I think for £100 a night they could improve on those aspects!"
"The location is in the center of Reading, very close to the train station, convenient for travel. The room is in another building and there are staff to help with luggage. The room is nice with a balcony. The hotel restaurant food is also OK. I went late on the day of check-in and only some dishes were available. The wine was good. The hotel made a mistake in the bill when checking out and charged me an extra fee. I negotiated with the platform and got it refunded. Overall I feel satisfied."
"Very nice clean hotel would definitely stay there again. It was also nice getting a free upgrade on the room. Witch had kettle, microwave, and fridge with a small freezer compartment. The room was like your own flat. Only down side to it was the shower was pretty crap. But you can put up with it for few nights."

Great
AAnonymous UserPerfect for me as it’s right across from the office but probably not so great if you wanted to be in the city centre although it’s only an £8 taxi ride or £2 bus ride. Opposite a Beefeater which was handy but I would prefer an on-site bar and restaurant. Felt a bit uncomfortable on check-in to be asked if I was a smoker (I’m not) and if anyone would be joining me later 😳. Didn’t like the bed being made up with sheets, blanket and counter pane as it’s quite uncomfortable particularly on one of the hottest days of the year although the mobile air conditioning unit helped (first time I’ve had sheets and blankets for over 30 years since the day I got married despite extensive business (weekly) and leisure travel (4-6 times a year)). Hotel was very clean and the bathroom was well equipped. A bottle of water would have been a welcome addition to the room particularly in such hot weather. Not sure who to recommend the hotel to as it’s neither a corporate hotel with all the amenities or a home from home. Breakfast was on offer for an additional £15 and I decided to wait until I checked in to see. As I wanted to be in the office for 8am and there was no menu available, times of service or visibility of a dining room, other facilities or even other guests, I decided it may be too intimate and opted for a cold sandwich I had stored in the office fridge ‘just in case’. Was similarly priced to the executive room I had in the Novotel last week which had a full buffet breakfast included.
IIrene YipI have stayed here many times and will continue to stay here. Friendly staff, nice food, lots of parking space, electric charging point. They even supply toothbrush toothpaste comb etc if needed.
GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay because the room is big enough with large toilet and everything is clean , the food is perfect as well the only problem is that even if the heating is already at 30 drgrees still cold but the staff came to bring me additional portable heating , All thier staff is kind helpful and very courteous , Excellent !
GGuest UserWe had a lovely stay here for a wedding 15 minutes drive away.
The staff were very helpful and accommodating at all times.
The only comment I would like to raise is that we were given room 9 which was described as an accessible room (which we didn’t need) but it was completely inappropriate as accessible as the shower ( which was in the bath) would have been completely unsuitable for a wheelchair user, or someone else with difficulty moving who wouldn’t have been able to climb into the bath to use it.
Breakfast was excellent.
SSofia sees the worldVery close to city center with access to food late at night. 15 minute walk to Train station. The room is tidy and bathroom is neat. However there is no amenities. I paid another 10 pounds to check in early at 12. The lift was not working at the time.
GGuest UserAfter requesting a quiet room due to having our 11 month old with us we were placed directly above the function suite for a wedding and while testing the sound system the floor below are feet curated and the noise was crazy.
The moved us rooms out of the original Manor House we requested and into the furthest room possible from all amenities on offer smaller than our original room, 3rd floor and no lift with a baby in a pram and lots of luggage. The room was also unbearably hot and a crazy sensor/light in the bathroom kept our son (and them us) all night.
Not sure if recommended staying here. .
GGuest UserVery convenient location and easy check-in/check-out, everything explained very clearly. Newsagents and restaurants just across the road very convenient. Room was very clean and comfortable.
SSusanEnjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly. Room clean and good size. Would have liked a more varied breakfast with cereal/toast Would visit again if ever in Reading.
VViggiReally loved everything about this hotel - from my stay to the food and it’s location close to the city centre. Will definitely choose to stay here every time I visit Reading! Staff is really friendly and helpful as well - they knock on the door every morning the room!
88A8It was our first time booking here, and we didn't expect much for the price. Despite bad reviews, our experience was pleasant. The reception staff were polite, and the room was fine. We could hear footsteps from upstairs, and the wall was a bit damaged, likely due to refurbishing, but it didn’t bother us. Overall, everything was good, and we might return once it's fully refurbished. Thanks!
