"I brought my girlfriend to Quanzhou these days and chose Venus Hotel. As soon as I entered the lobby, I saw the front desk brother Yuhua [smiling] very beautiful. It was very handsome. When I checked out, I also saw a new model of Quanzhou's popular Xiapu girl on the stairs of the accommodation. The boss designed and manufactured it himself. It was very beautiful. In the book bar on the second floor, there are hairpins and photo costumes for guests to use in line with the popular Quanpu women's style. The idea is very thoughtful. There are tea rooms and coffee shops in the public area. You can order a cup of coffee during the day and find a place to work with friends at night. The book bar is really a good choice and quiet. I, the escort, was just drinking tea and playing with my mobile phone and harassing her, hahaha. The staff here are friendly and the B&B environment is comfortable and spacious. Recommended"

It was very comfortable to enjoy the night view with the breeze at night. Local aunts were chatting downstairs, but it was not noisy at all.
Transportation: It is very convenient to walk in from West Street. You can find it by following the navigation. It is not far from other major attractions. You can visit West Street, Bell Tower, and Kaiyuan Temple many times a day.
Service: The front desk guy was very friendly and took the initiative to help carry the luggage to the room. Sweet soup was provided every day. Although I didn't eat it due to time constraints, I felt very warm.
I saw a few photos of celebrities and staff (Yao Chen, Fan Shaohuang, Gao Xiaosong), and unexpectedly found that they checked in at the same hotel."

GGuntoubupahoThe hotel is located in a central prime location in a busy but relatively quiet side street, very convenient and close to everything you ever need. Plenty of attractions,restaurants, cafes and places of interest all within walking distance. We had a fantastic time here in Quanzhou with superb and hospitable weather all through the week, no withstanding the taiphoon passing nearby.
The facilities are modern, even an inhouse cafe/ restaurant which provides prompt services with near perfect tasty food and drinks. The room service on the low desk in the room made it the best and most memorable dining experience we had during the mini honeymoon. See the photos attached.
The staff esp the reception, even the cleaners, went out of the way to attend to every needs and request from us, always with a smile and highly professional disposition. I personally saw how they handled a particularly difficult client with such grace and calmness, which settled the impasse pretty promptly. I saw the client a few days later who was full of smiles, satisfaction and appreciation of the level of comfort and services she received.
I couldn't have been happier the 4 days staying and could have extended more days had there been rooms available. But I promise to return when the first opportunity avail itself.
The only suggestion I can give is to make the slippery floor in the toilet more slip resistant. Perhaps with some thin layer of anti slip mat whenever requested by more senior clients like me. I was extra careful going in and out each time, as the water ponded easily there .

EEvaThe hotel is overall clean and cozy. Areas requiring improvement is the toilet door which is quite heavy to slide sideways. Moreover, the staff service in the morning buffet session needed improvement. For example, the waitress was too fast in cleaning up the plates when we were still eating which caused disturbance. The staff who refilled the porridge did not clean up the food she spilled. Furthermore, the staff responsible for cooking the noodles pulled a long face. I don't mean to be picky but the staff service definitely require improvement in order to claim itself a 5-star hotel.

YyuanguoruiSuper big room, there are three or four buildings here, all of which have balconies facing the beach, with good sound insulation, and super big room, more than 40 or 50 square meters. Although the washing machine got stuck after I used it once, it was quick to call someone to repair it. The environment here is very good, close to the beach, but you need to scan the code to pay or use the room to wash your feet. It happened that I checked out before going to the beach, so it was awkward. The area around the hotel is very prosperous, and shops, restaurants and foot massage parlors are open until 11pm. The outdoor swimming pool is open until 7pm, the indoor swimming pool is open until 10:30pm, and there is also a sauna and fitness room, which is very good, but it's a pity that we only stayed for one night. By the way, it's quite close to the ancient city, three or four minutes drive.

DDataomamaThis is my second time staying at West Lake Hotel. It is still as good as before. From the moment I got off the taxi, the staff was very warm and thoughtful. The front desk check-in was efficient and friendly. The room service was meticulous, and even the details such as the toilet seat were considered. The location is excellent, and the treasure white car is right at the door of the hotel. It is very convenient to travel. I had a great time and it really made me feel at home.

红红月I spent 6 nights at 2208. It had been saved on my Trip.com for many months before my summer holiday, so I was happy that they had availability for the week I planned to visit.
In order of importance for me as a solo (foreign female) traveler are: location, safety, and helpfulness of staff.
1. Location: I think the location is perfect. It’s on a small alley behind West Street and directly across from Kaiyuan Temple’s west gate. This area is very central and convenient.
2. Safety: Overall, the city is safe, but in reality it is nearby a main tourist destination, so to prevent non-guests from entering there is a gate with keypad access for late night. There was always staff inside at other times.
3. Helpfulness of staff: There were some language barriers due to my lack of fluency, but the staff tried to help as much as possible to make sure I was comfortable. If there was a problem it was resolved quickly and if I didn’t understand, they were patient and tried to explain it another way.
Other than these things, I’ll say there are actually two 2208 buildings in the same area. One has a view of Kaiyuan Temple from some rooms and from the rooftop; the other seems more modern but without this view. There is cleaning service available if you need it and free water bottles daily.
If you are looking for amenities such as a television or breakfast, maybe this is not a suitable option, but if you want a place to sleep nearby the best sites in Quanzhou, and have friendly staff greet you each day, then it’s a good choice.

This homestay can grab Didi anytime.The shop Opposite hotel is 老字号马蹄酥&黄衍明口腔科 as later i will put picture for ur reference. Then u follow the signboard go in the alley then can find the homestay. The owner of this homestay is super helpful and friendly. As my luggage damage in airport, owner help me to get a new luggage online and get it just within a day. The homestay even provide us disposable towel ,face towel , tooth brush and tooth paste everyday. And no need worry about shampoo and body shampoo too. Hassle free and can bring less item if u stay in this homestay. The hotel location is great to grab breakfast and supper too. Some within walking distance restaurant I will put in photo. And 小白车u can take from this homestay to many travel attraction just rmb 2. All in all, this homestay is good value for money and i would like say thank you to the owner of this homestay for the pleasant stay during my trip. Definitely we will come back again Quanzhou just want stay in Lanxin courtyard only.

SShengmaluofankuaiThis was a bit of a surprise, so I decided to give it a try. The new hotel doesn't have much of a decoration feel, but a European style. The lamps are nice, the mattress is great, I slept very well, the air conditioning is top-notch 👍, the breakfast is ok, there is also freshly cooked noodles, the overall service is good, and the hygiene is also good.
