"As it was my first time in Quanzhou, I chose this hotel based on a Ctrip recommendation. While I didn't get to experience all of its services and amenities, I had a positive overall impression. They provided complimentary welcome fruits, pastries, and even a digestive and sleep-friendly late-night snack package. The staff offered excellent service, the hotel was clean, and the facilities were comprehensive. Its location in a bustling area made shopping and dining incredibly convenient. My only suggestions for improvement would be the lack of a proper desk in the room and the power outlets, which were a bit fiddly to plug into (they seemed to be safety outlets). Otherwise, everything else was great. Thank you!"

"I spent 3 nights here, and the overall experience was not pleasant. When I arrived the first day, the front desk gave me a room that was not livable. It was so close to the next building (see photos). I requested to have the room changed for the second night. The manager upgraded to a better room. However, I wanted to try the spa using the coupon from the hotel. The spa manager said this coupon is only good for spending 980 or more, but it wasn't said anywhere in the coupon. Then, I wanted to use Dianping. She said they no longer honor Dianping. This hotel accepts large group tour, the tour girl was yelling at the lobby using an amplified speaker, which is very unprofessional at a 5 star hotel. The third night was the most expensive. She said she would honor the ctrip price but charge me 100 more. I don't understand why it is so difficult to be honest. The breakfast was good, the service was friendly but not honest, if you are not 100% alert, you will pay more. The Japanese restaurant was not good, the eel wasn't fresh and the taste was decent."

"I went to Quanzhou with my friends on May Day. There are not many good hotels to choose from in Quanzhou. I thought the hotel management would be chaotic when I saw the dazzling array of gifts. But since Visan contacted me the day before, it was basically a perfect experience. The plane arrived in the morning and arranged for early check-in. The breakfast was rich and varied with many local snacks. I also experienced the hotel restaurant for dinner, which was very Minnan-style. I was impressed that Visan refreshed various places, including the reception desk, breakfast restaurant, and dinner restaurant. He worked very hard. I hope the hotel will get better and better, and Visan's career will be successful!"

"1️⃣The hotel's location is really invincible. It is located at the important landmark bell tower. It is very convenient to go to the attractions in the old city. You can go back to rest at any time when you are tired of shopping at noon.
2️⃣The upgraded one-bedroom room on the east side is much larger. It is quite comfortable to live in. The only drawback is that there is a certain amount of street noise, but the hotel is equipped with earplugs. Andy, a follow-up colleague, also helped to reduce the afternoon tea in the hotel because of this noise problem.
3️⃣The breakfast is quite comfortable, mainly in terms of environment, landscape, and layout. However, there are a few cold dishes, which can be improved.
4️⃣The streets here are really beautiful, and there are terraces and rooftops.
5️⃣Finally, I want to say that the service is really good. Andy asked us about our needs in the morning, noon and evening. When I left, he gave me toiletries. He also gave me a box of Minnan rice cakes, which is very considerate. ❤️"

"A stay experience beyond expectations, a warm hotel hidden in the mountain park! Lakeside, Gudu, coffee house, white house, 230-degree mountain view, five-star service, actually no violation and sense of integration! Several young ladies have a good attitude, warm service, help with luggage, communicate in advance for breakfast, and remind them through WeChat, 12 points of praise! The room decoration level is high, the facilities and equipment are carefully selected, small and all-round intelligent control, there are smart toilets, Dyson hair dryers, welcome platters, drinks, coffee, drinking water, 2 breakfasts. With children, breakfast was also specially made a little more, completely enough for two big and two small meals. Its location is superb, ideally situated near Kaiyuan Temple and West Street, with an abundance of fantastic eateries nearby. Despite the lively surroundings, the hotel itself offers a tranquil retreat; once you step through its doors, you'll find absolute peace and quiet.
The hotel's attention to detail is impressive. For instance, on hot days, the lobby thoughtfully provides complimentary purified water and handcarts for guests to help themselves. We especially loved the hotel's custom-made incense, which had an incredibly soothing aroma.
They even provide guests with a fantastic 'eat & explore' guide, packed with useful tips and recommendations. We followed their suggestions for dining, and every single meal was delicious!
Our suite featured incredibly comfortable bedding. The bathroom design was a major highlight, offering a very generous space, making bath time incredibly relaxing, and even included a dedicated makeup area – we were thoroughly pleased.
The service was also incredibly responsive to all our requests, with quick responses and detailed transportation guidance.
And I must mention the hotel's unbeatable rooftop view, offering clear sight of Kaiyuan Temple's East and West Pagodas – a truly spectacular panorama. In the evenings, you can enjoy movies, cocktails, and moon-gazing on the rooftop, which makes for a truly comfortable and special experience!

I absolutely loved the overall decor and style; the owner clearly has impeccable taste. The room was spotless. A minor suggestion for next time would be to provide disposable bathtub liners. The service was outstanding. They had thoughtfully turned on the AC before our arrival, and the afternoon tea, along with the drinks and snacks, were absolutely delicious. My child still raves about the black truffle fries! The owner even went the extra mile by sending two complimentary drinks for my child, which was incredibly kind. This is the first time I've genuinely felt that staying in a guesthouse offers a more unique and enjoyable experience than a traditional hotel. Highly recommend!

LLia KudoI stayed at the hotel for work and this is the third time I've stayed with the team. I had some orders to receive and the hotel called me to let me know every time I received the order and it was a little exhausting because I was in important meetings and I don't speak Chinese. The gym and restaurant are good, there are very few employees who speak English, if you need anything I recommend staying with the translator to communicate.

红红月I spent 6 nights at 2208. It had been saved on my Trip.com for many months before my summer holiday, so I was happy that they had availability for the week I planned to visit.
In order of importance for me as a solo (foreign female) traveler are: location, safety, and helpfulness of staff.
1. Location: I think the location is perfect. It’s on a small alley behind West Street and directly across from Kaiyuan Temple’s west gate. This area is very central and convenient.
2. Safety: Overall, the city is safe, but in reality it is nearby a main tourist destination, so to prevent non-guests from entering there is a gate with keypad access for late night. There was always staff inside at other times.
3. Helpfulness of staff: There were some language barriers due to my lack of fluency, but the staff tried to help as much as possible to make sure I was comfortable. If there was a problem it was resolved quickly and if I didn’t understand, they were patient and tried to explain it another way.
Other than these things, I’ll say there are actually two 2208 buildings in the same area. One has a view of Kaiyuan Temple from some rooms and from the rooftop; the other seems more modern but without this view. There is cleaning service available if you need it and free water bottles daily.
If you are looking for amenities such as a television or breakfast, maybe this is not a suitable option, but if you want a place to sleep nearby the best sites in Quanzhou, and have friendly staff greet you each day, then it’s a good choice.

The young lady at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, and check-in was a breeze. GGuest UserOverall, it was pretty good. The place was very clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent, as you step right out onto a bustling food street. Getting to the ancient city is also super convenient. Quanzhou itself is a fantastic city for food and drink. Getting around with the local 'xiaobai che' shuttles is also very convenient. I'll definitely be back on my next visit.

This homestay can grab Didi anytime.The shop Opposite hotel is 老字号马蹄酥&黄衍明口腔科 as later i will put picture for ur reference. Then u follow the signboard go in the alley then can find the homestay. The owner of this homestay is super helpful and friendly. As my luggage damage in airport, owner help me to get a new luggage online and get it just within a day. The homestay even provide us disposable towel ,face towel , tooth brush and tooth paste everyday. And no need worry about shampoo and body shampoo too. Hassle free and can bring less item if u stay in this homestay. The hotel location is great to grab breakfast and supper too. Some within walking distance restaurant I will put in photo. And 小白车u can take from this homestay to many travel attraction just rmb 2. All in all, this homestay is good value for money and i would like say thank you to the owner of this homestay for the pleasant stay during my trip. Definitely we will come back again Quanzhou just want stay in Lanxin courtyard only.
