It was okay. The room was quite spacious, but the hotel lobby had a really strong perfume smell. The view was decent, and the breakfast spread was quite good. One minor thing is that the bathroom door opens outwards, which makes it easy to bump into.

Always stay at this hotel whenever I’m in Shishi or Jinjiang. It’s easily one of the most decent hotels in the area and a property I keep coming back to. Overall, everything was great. I did encounter a few issues during my most recent stay, but the manager was quick to address them and made every effort to make things right, which I appreciated. I also love the thoughtful touches, such as the snacks and fruits they send to the room from time to time. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained.

The location is ideal, and the food at the 1st-floor restaurant is delicious. The breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options, catering to various preferences. The room cleanliness is excellent. Every afternoon, they provide complimentary fruit or traditional Chinese sweet soup, which is a rare and highly appreciated perk compared to other hotels in Shishi. My only minor complaint is that the tea bags in the room cost ¥15. Tea isn't expensive, so it would be great if they could provide two complimentary tea bags daily, especially since there's a tea set in the room anyway. 😢

This was my first time staying at the same hotel for four days, and it was a truly wonderful experience. I was genuinely impressed by everything, from the breakfast to the accommodation and the staff's attitude. I even packed my swimsuit! 🥰 It's a shame my itinerary was too packed this time, so I couldn't use it, but I'm really looking forward to coming back next time! ❤️

I've stayed here multiple times and have always been quite satisfied. The decor is traditional, without smart tech, embracing a classic design aesthetic. The twin room has a dressing room, which the deluxe king room surprisingly lacks. The rooms are spacious, and the breakfast offers a good variety, though it's always included and can't be opted out of. The front desk staff are very helpful. Food delivery by robot is quick, and afternoon tea includes either fruit or dessert. The security guards always help with luggage, and upon checkout, I've sometimes received thoughtful parting gifts like biscuits, water, candies, and wet wipes. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. The location is also very convenient for getting around.

Grand Honor Hotel is definitely the best hotel in Shishi, but it’s not quite the same level as a luxury hotel in a bigger city. Generally the hotel is clean, but it’s the little things that I noticed, ie when I checked in, there were some sweet wrappers next to the bowl of sweets that weren’t cleared away. That said, the sense of space is evident in the hotel lobby, lifts, corridors and most importantly, the hotel rooms. Rooms are very spacious and well-designed, although the closet area can definitely do with brighter lights. Most amenities are provided but what put me off is that many items that would have been free in other hotels at this price-range aren’t free at Grand Honor. There is a Chinese tea set on the table and usually the loose leaf tea is provided for free but it cost ¥15 per packet. Honestly it’s not a lot of money for us, but on the flip side, surely the hotel can provide a bag of tea leaves for their guests. There are the standard free single-use packet tea in the drawer so at least there’s that. In-room slippers are not to be taken out; they’d charge you if you do - and that’s fine, but the slippers are actually really uncomfortable to wear. The small plate of fruits (banana, plum and mandarin) given at 5pm every day is a nice touch. The hotel breakfast is probably the highlight. Set on the 22nd floor with panoramic views of the city, breakfast is very enjoyable. The food quality is pretty good, but a real surprise here is the sheer diversity of food. The bread selection alone has 5-6 choices (pastries, brioche, baguette, square toast, etc), the cooked food section is almost endless (and there’s cooked Chinese vegetables! 👏🏾) and then there’s the fruit selection at the end too. My only gripe is that the coffee machine is a bit slow, and there’s only one machine so there can be a wait for coffee. Location of the hotel is a little odd; good restaurants and the main mall is about 15 mins’ walk away. There aren’t many good shops to wander around nearby. Generally, this is a solid hotel for this price point. Excellent service with very fast food delivery (using the ubiquitous delivery robots) and friendly front desk staff.

I found out this is the best hotel in Shishi after walking around the neighborhood. It might be due to the layout downstairs, but it was a bit noisy at night. The breakfast selection was quite rich and worth trying.
