"This is my first time at the original backpacker.
Answer my phone call when I was late check-in, the guy was very polite.
Reception - very friendly and helpful show me around.
Location - convenience at King Cross with 2 supermarkets, food shop, shopping centre.
Friendly roommates with all women.
Other backpackers are very respectful. No noise after midnight.
I'll be back😊"

"Regents Court was amazing. Perfect location and felt very safe. Facilities were great and very friendly welcome. Would highly recommend and would definitely return if lucky enough to return to Sydney"

"Old style but clean Big room..
With 2 large queen size bed and 1 sofa bed.
Enjoy staying here as a family of 5 people with kids, will surely come back.
Easy to get foods, walking distance to train station, near supermarket, but perhaps crowded on weekend since its opposite of clubs and so.
Safety box not working well, but finally they change it after 3 days.
Internet not good, ask to front office but unsatisfying answer, but finally better after handle by other staff and it's after 3 days.
Overall its good and great 👍"

"I traveled alone to Sydney. The size of the accommodation is perfect for one or two people, and the atmosphere of the accommodation is very quiet. The atmosphere and environment of the accommodation are something that Koreans will definitely like. If I had to pick one disadvantage, it would be that it is a bit far from the Opera House and Main Street..? However, for those who like to walk, the streets are well-constructed and you can walk while doing aerobic exercise. This is a highly recommended accommodation."

"Perfectly fine hotel to stay in and good location right off the main strip. Checking in after hours was a bit difficult and I needed to call a number and go through quite a bit of stuff to get the access code but once I was in there the room was a decent size and clean and nice. I’d stay here again because of the location."

"Traveling to Australia, the highest hotel. After I checked in, I really lived up to expectations and left a very good impression on me. I upgraded the most luxurious room type for free, with a bathtub and balcony, and the area was super large. The hotel is located in a deep alley, quiet and low-key; The hotel has a heavy sense of history and the design of materials is very solid. Breakfast is perfect, bedding is perfect, the environment is perfect, it is perfect!"

GGuest UserGreat little trendy and stylish hotel in a very convenient location just 300m from the train station and tons of supermarkets and eating options nearby. It’s a short walk to trendy restaurants and coffee shops and the neighborhood itself has a lot of character. Love the details in the room including the books about King’s Cross the neighborhood.

CCécileTStrong point: Ideal location close to the metro exit. It is possible to go to the center of Sydney on foot and if you walk around Victoria it is possible to have a very beautiful view of the Sydney landscape.
Weak point: The hotel has a laundry room, however it is a shame that it is not clean.
The hotel is not new, the room was ok for a short stay.

TTakuuuuhi, guys. i stayed there for a week, was insane literally! there are many nationality and can make friends. in addition, there is PS4 hahaha!! i played FIFA with people who i met there. about reception staffs are so kind and had a good hospitality!! i wanna stay there again when i have a oppotunity, thanks

TTravel somewhere elseThe hostel is definitely worth booking. I paid cheap cost to live near to the center of the city. The common areas are big enough and people are nice. But it is a bit disappointed that they don’t have a hair dryer.

Kk0sm0I have stayed at a hostel like 々 so far, but I felt the dirtyest. It may be only the room I stayed in, but my personal belongings were scattered throughout the room and obviously the room was not cleaned. There was a sticker on the door of the room that prohibited eating and drinking in the room, but I felt that the dishes after eating and drinking were left unattended and there was no rule. Also, since the locker was already used, even if I offered to change the room for that reason, I couldn't respond to anything because there was no vacancy. Certainly the location is good near the station, breakfast is included, and the lobby is now a feeling, so it may be good considering the accommodation fee, but first of all, I want you to manage the filthyness of the room. I was there.

Only at night during the stay, there was a ridiculous sounds coming from the pipe or wall? Like a machine buffler at 11pm onwards. Thats not nice and disturbing guests who are sleeping. Every night it was consistent like first night was at 11pm then second night was at 11:30pm. Second night was bit creepy hearing other room looks like knocking our room asking if were doing something making that noise. But never open the room. It was room 25 and in 3rd floor. Hope it will be fix as soon for the next guests. Maybe it just pipe problem. So far staff are accomodating and very clean room. Thank you.

Points of criticism:
- If you have the upper bed, you don't have a socket on the bed. You may be lucky that there is an extension cable
- there are no curtains on the beds. So zero privacy

AAudrey ExplorerFriendly customer service and hotel guests. Clean and tidy. Only the fridge is too full, and no laundry machine yet. The big plus is the location, next to the King Cross entrance at Darlinghurst road.
