For sure one of the best hotels I ever booked here. The reason that I could not give a full 5-rating is that the infinity pool has on the edge a lot of bird’s ****.
Otherwise the room, restaurants, pool service, reception and concierge are on top level. Late check-out was approved with a smile.
The only nagging: I asked for a quiet room, but got one near the hotel’s tennis court and a re-construction site.

My daughter is a big fan of Grandma, so I must support her. The triple room is more than 2000, which is spacious enough. The hotel does have a strong sense of history. The price of afternoon tea has increased. The environment is good. I don't like sweets.

To begin with, now this hotel is called DNZ TAXIM FERİDİYE HoTEL. I booked a stay for three nights through booking in a deluxe room. Upon arrival, we were given a different room that did not match the description and photo when booking. We returned to the administrator with an attempt to explain that the number was clearly different. He looked for our reservation for a long time, found it, and eventually gave us another room. It was larger and similar in size to the one in the photo, but it did not match in appearance. We were told that there were no other rooms available. In the end, I had to stay in this room. Then we began to examine it in more detail and were in a slight shock. The point was the condition of the room itself: the door trims were broken off, the walls were all chipped to the ground, the sink was loose, the shower hose was frayed, the faucet that was kept on parole. The faucet and fan just stuck out of the wall, everything above the doorway in the bathroom was smeared with cement without any kind of decoration (everything is in the photo). Towels are dirty, with lipstick residue and holes. Bed linen was also in question. The price included breakfast, which again turned out to be not the same as in the photo on bo***********A photo of breakfast is also attached to the review. The main thing there is half a loaf. Arabs work at the front desk, who know a couple of words in English, that is, it is extremely difficult to communicate with them. And finally, the cherry on the cake. We decided that we could not stand here for three nights and leave after two nights. As a result, the administrators canceled our reservation when we checked out, and sent information to booking that we supposedly did not check in. In general, they simply deceive people! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Loft airport hotel This hotel is beautiful we were completely in shock at how nice the room is - Has a huge mirror which converts to a TV. The room has little fridge with free drinks - coffee kettle. It has beautiful furnishings the bathroom is fabulous I would totally recommend staying at this hotel Has a large mirror which turns into a TV. All upgraded - & exceptional When you get a taxi from the airport be sure the taxi man puts on the meter…. If you don’t see the meter running by the time you’re leaving the airport tell him to pull over and put the meter on I have noticed several Turkish taxi drivers don’t put on the meter coming or going from the airport why because they want to rip off tourists Do not pay any more than 200 Turkish lira max You can even get an Uber for maximum of 165 from the airport to the hotel Unfortunately you cannot get an Uber back to the airport. We did get a taxi from hotel back to the airport. 160 lira The hotel says it’s 5 miles away (that’s as the Crow flies) its actuality 8 1/2 miles by road. 15 mins max All the girls & Guys at the front desk were exceptional & really sweet - they spoke English they ordered us food to be delivered in the evening for us. They also recommended restaurants. We ordered a Turkish breakfast for €5 Our flight wasn’t until 530 so we asked if we could check out at 1 and they said yes no problem which we thought was very nice of them. There is a hotel at IST Airport but it’s very expensive (& not on Expedia) We would Definitely stay at this hotel again and have marked it as one of my favorites. I don’t very often give 5 star reviews but the staff were so nice and lovely and the hotel was soo fabulous I gave it a 5*. I did book the hotel 7 months out and got an amazing price so that helped…

Sometimes it takes one interaction to ruin something and well my experience at this hotel took same turn. I had booked a corner room facing the Bosphorus through American Express. When I arrived, I asked for a room with two twin beds and the receptionist very rudely said he was certain my booking came through Expedia and that he was certain Expedia explains those rooms don’t have twin bed options and “it is your responsibility to pay attention!” I explained to him that American Express might book through Expedia but regardless the American Express booking page did not say king beds were the only option. He kept insisting that I booked through Expedia and the only option I had was to go with a room facing the city or pay extra for an upgrade. Even though I payed for the more expensive view, I ended up with the view facing the city. I later checked with booking.com and as a matter of fact they do offer corner room with twin beds facing the Bosphorus! You know so many times you check in hotels and out of curtesy they offer you an upgrade when a mistake is made but not here! The guy had to prove he was right and was very rude about it!

I am a Marriott Titanium member so i have spent a few nights away! Any hotel experience to a large degree is determined by the quality of its staff. Everyone at the hotel were excellent from the first moment of walking into the hotel to the day we left to return home. This started from the security staff on the entrance and Serpil on reception who checked us in. The restaurant staff were all great, Furkan who would greet us daily to breakfast with a smile and Atakan who made us our eggs each morning, I could name many more in the restaurant. Murat in the Exec lounge ensured we were comfortable and well looked after and he was ably supported by Bucra and the rest of the team. The cleaners every day who made up our room always had time to smile and chat despite some of them not being too fluent at English! Hamida and Hatice were great, again I could mention all the others. The facilities of the hotel are what you would expect for a 5* Marriott. The location is good too but if you are wanting to regularly visit the Hagia Sophia area then I would suggest picking the times you travel sensibly to avoid the early and late rush hour. We have visited Istanbul several times and stayed at other hotels. We look forward to returning soon and we will be staying here next time too!

Without question The Artisan is one of the finest of hotels i have had the pleasure to stay in . From the first moment of arrival I was greeted by Serkan and his incredible staff members . Ibrahim is the most charming and polite if waiters and totally professional with his approach to all my needs . Fatih works behind the bar and works with such a wonderful positive attitude . He is an outstanding young man .

We had a very unpleasant experience with stuff at the lobby , being there for Christmas Eve , me & my sister decide to eat inside the hotel rather to go out so at 10 pm we came down to the lobby where there is lounge area , for almost 15 minutes we saw that the lounge staff is passing us without asking if we want to order so I called one of the waitress and she came toward us with furious gestures before I start asking she said to me do you have a room in the hotel and I said yes , she continues what’s your room number and I replied , again with the cold face and rude behavior she continues ‘ under the name ?’ And I replied, she turned back to her desk without asking us what we would like to order and From her desk she went straight to reception to verify my information!!! My jaws dropped when I saw this , really rude & unprofessional behavior I was in complete shock that she even went to reception to verify the information, but the worst part was that after she verified and actually saw that we are the guest of the hotel she turned back to her desk and continued ignoring us , I never ever seen in my entire life a waitress permits herself to act like this with 5 star hotel guests, at this point we asked another waitress that if she can took our order , we then asked her if the hotel have another restaurant and she replied yes but the kitchen is closed after 10:30 pm , I don’t recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to enjoy the hotel facility, the staff are not guest friendly, the dining section is in some floor but for person like me that wants more easy snacks and chill area wasn’t really good option, not to mention that when we came back to our room we really felt so heavy and frustrated by this behavior, we were supposed to go today to lounge before departing but as for yesterday experience we just decide to check out soon and leave the hotel because we didn’t like to tolerate the attitude of this waitress ( she is the short women with short brown hair ) I suggest the general manager to see the video of yesterday and review their staff!

I recently stayed at Lokalist with my family, and I can’t recommend it enough! Furkan, Emir, and Deurim provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Furkan greeted us warmly upon arrival and made sure we felt right at home. He helped us with recommendations for local attractions and restaurants that our family thoroughly enjoyed. Emir went above and beyond to ensure our rooms were perfect and met all our needs. His attention to detail and willingness to assist made a significant difference during our stay. Deurim brought such positive energy and was fantastic with my family. He engaged with us and made our experience even more enjoyable. GGuest UserWe truly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was very nicely presented and delicious. The furnishings and decorations were very interesting. The house was very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. It's a historic house that opens up to a lovely garden and a cute little coffee house with indoor and outdoor seating. The grocery store is about a 3-minute walk and the Metro was a 10-minute walk. Perfect for a couple but may be a tight space for a family. Shampoo and shower gel are available and complimentary coffee and water. We felt safe in the neighborhood. The area around the house is hilly so you may be walking uphill in many areas. However, the owners have a lot of information about the area and will give you recommendations and the best ways to get around. They can even help you with a taxi.

OonmyojiI came here on a business trip and liked this hotel very much. Unfortunately, it was fully booked one day, so the company switched me to another hotel. The hotel is very nice. There is a bar on the top floor. The chef and the bartender are very friendly and we have a lot of fun chatting. If I come to Turkey for a business trip next time, I will definitely choose this hotel.

AAnonymous UserThe front desk staff was very good. As soon as I entered the door, I was given a lot of information about the hotel and helped to call to book some recreational activities. The room was very clean and tidy, and the things prepared were meticulous and thoughtful. The hotel is located on Independence Street. As soon as you go out, there are many small shops and chain stores recommended for buying souvenirs. It is very convenient! If I have to pick a disadvantage, it is that the wall is a bit thin. If there are guests in the early morning, they can be heard in the room. It is recommended to bring earplugs, which will improve the quality of sleep. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and the experience is excellent!

GGuest UserFriendly staff all over the hotel. Started with a Royal checking in by Emre then the rest of the staff Yagmur, Mahsum only to name a few took over. Breakfast was Amazing. Food & Beverage Manager as well as waiters were great and welcoming too. Rooms were very clean and excellent housekeeping service. Shopping Center right next door for those who want a break too.

You have everything you need on the same street. The staff is always friendly! At the reception Selim was really welcoming and helpful and also the guys at the breakfast service Mehmet and Yalain :) ( I hope I wrote the names right) The cleaning service also really good! At general a lovely stay for our first time in Istanbul.

GGuest UserWe had a change of itinerary which meant that the hotel we booked was not in the ideal location for us and meant lot of going back and forth and as we had not booked free cancellation were able to modify or cancel the booking.
There are places to eat nearby and a nice high street for breakfast, food, restaurants but not any convenience stores. There is a nice promenade for a walk however its a bit of a mission to cross to the other side of the busy road due to the fence. So you have to walk over the manned bridge. From there its a 1.5hours walk to Sultanahmet. There is no hotel shuttle so the only other option to get to the main sights is by taxi.
In the winter time its not as bad maybe 10 minutes to Sultanahmet and 20 minutes to Galata Tower.
The hotel is actually pretty decent, clean, bar area with free biscuits, luggage area.
I wasn't too keen on the requirement to insert your card in the lift to use it, it had us confused esp as no one told us.
They serve nice range of food at decent prices.
The room was big enough for a couple, with all the standard mod cons like kettle, shower, free WIFI and also had a convenient chair, desk and couch. It also had a free safe which was easy to use and enough storage area. Room was clean and found the bed pretty comfortable.
The sea view was great, maybe a room higher up might have been better.

TThe Black Asian JaThis hotel is around 20 minutes from the Airport... the airport itself is pretty remote so it takes a while to get close to any accommodation so I'd say that the location is good. It was also spacious, clean and had a pretty big jacuzzi for at least 4 people

I ended up in this hotel because I missed my connecting flight because of Pegasus airline. The non-smoking room was good. Look-wise the room was beautiful. The view from my room was good as well. Negative things I’ve noticed was that the bathroom door knob did not lock which was a bit weird. The mattress in the bed also moved a lot sideways so I had to wake up in the night and readjust it couple times. Things I appreciated is that the room had a kettle and variety of tea and coffee packets. The bathroom had plenty of towels and the soap & shampoo smelled excellent and it felt good on my skin. Unfortunately my bathroom didn’t have a toothbrush & toothpaste which I thought was common in hotels. I had to come to the hall and ask them and they asked me to sit down and wait for someone to bring it to me. Kinda weird that you don’t have toothbrush and toothpaste in the hall but you have necessities like deodorant. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Variety of foods and they were warm as well. The dessert section was a bit questionable because the pancake and waffles were rock solid. They had orange & apple juice and tea & coffee. Also water that tasted like fruits. The lunch was also good. The starter was some sort of vegetable soup with bread. The soup was great I wish the bread was a bit softer. The main course was good as well. Rice, potatoe wedges and some sort of meat. I couldn’t really tell what meat it was but it was really good. OH MY GOD the dessert was Turkish baklava and it left me speechless. I haven’t eaten baklava before but it was so good I couldnt even explain the taste. Overall I enjoyed the hotel and I would come back :)

Это откровенно говоря помойка. Заселяют около мусорных баков и туалета общего. Очень шумно. Оставшиеся 2 номера сверху это на третьем этаже самого хозяина (он сам шумит постоянно и на просьбы не шуметь пожимает плечами и говорит, что это норма), а на втором этаже задают для одноразовых встреч. Только представьте крики девушек и пьянки… невозможно было спать там. В ванне плесень, в помещении очень холодно и влажно. Фена нет и не дали, сказали нет его. Отношение хозяина было ужасным. Повышенные пафосные тона. Не рекомендую от слова вообще!!!
