Best Panglao Hotels

Stayed for 3 days and was a bit far from Alona Beach, but fortunately there was a free shuttle bus at the hotel. The interior of the hotel is beautiful, the facilities are very new, and the complimentary breakfast is not bad. But the hotel is surrounded by villages, dirty and messy, the road to the hotel turned out to be a dirt road, the tap water and the water in the pool are all unpurified sea water, a bit salty, the whole of the island of Bohol. With a 12-year-old child, there is no extra bed, and 800p per night, which is a bit expensive. Since I go out to play every day, the overall situation is not bad, the environment there is the same. The level of consumption is comparable to that of first-tier cities in China.

It was fantastic Vacation ever. Front desk Kevin was amazing from Arrival until departure. He was very kind and efficient. It was nice welcome. The restaurant staffs all were great. Breakfast, beach snack and dinner. They are kind and provide best service. Beach safety guards and security(Julio, if i remember correctly) very kind and help single traveler request very well. Thanks for my departure transportation driver. Every staffs with busy operation, they keep smile on face. I have a best vacation under the sun and beautiful beach with South Palm resort! Our stay at Bohol Beach Club was truly delightful. The property's commitment to environmental friendliness impressed us, and the staff's kindness exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for enjoying beach vibes and a serene vacation. The reasonably priced food with a variety of options made our dining experience enjoyable. Special mention to John at the restaurant, whose lively personality and attentive service added to our overall comfort. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

The resort is very good overall. However there's a few niggles. Check in took way too long. 2 people serving? When you have a long queue in the heat of the lobby this isn't a great first impression. The lobby on arrival was so busy. When I've checked into other hotels I've usually been impressed with the smoothness of check in. This wasn't a pleasant experience or environment especially if you're traveling with children. We couldn't get a massage. We wanted to confirm the time the next day and they wouldn't give us this option.? The lift? One lift in the main area? For a resort this big and expensive they should have more lifts The stairs at the pool are stony. This will really hurt your feet when you're not expecting it The breakfast is good for Filipinos however for Westerners like myself there should be more choice. Not just bread and egg. The beach is small. You get hassled by people trying to sell you stuff. Protect your belongings. Doesn't feel safe, look out for algae in the water. Not pleasant to swim through. The resort restaurants are very expensive. The lobby isn't air conditioned? Why not make it a pleasure to be in the lobby and serve coffee to guests? Not everyone wants ice tea. We were told to pay 6000php on arrival which luckily we had but we didn't know about this deposit for incidentals ahead of time. The positives are. They gave us umbrellas when we walked outside for the shade. The shower in our room was excellent. The warm water in the pool. And swimming till late is lovely. The staff are very good and attentive and professional. They served us with care and attention and nothing was too much trouble. I got looked after by the nurse at 10pm.

Additionally, free water was available anytime, and they even provided bananas, which the kids loved. Nice Amenities: The hotel boasts a nice shower with ample toiletries and towels provided. The pool was a big hit with our children and a perfect spot for a refreshing dip. Convenient Location: Azul de Panglao is conveniently located just a short tricycle ride away from Alona Beach, probably around 1 km. This made it easy for us to enjoy the beach and nearby restaurants without any hassle. Overall, Azul de Panglao exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it for families looking for a budget-friendly, comfortable, and hospitable place to stay in Panglao. We will definitely be back!

Loved every bit of time we spent at Modala. All the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The free photoshoot was also great, my parents loved it! The breakfast buffet was also great! So many food choices.

The hotel is about 10 minutes away from Alona beach. The surrounding area is very quiet. The hotel staff are very friendly, but the hotel facilities are old.
