Best Pak Chong Hotels

"Truly 5* in all aspects. Beautiful huge property with the rooms surrounding a lake, giving great views in the day. But don't worry about the size of the area, they have buggies to shuttle guests around. Our 2 bedroom suite was a huge comfy space, a master bedroom with a huge bathroom that comes with a luxurious bathtub. The other bedroom had 2 single beds with an attached bathroom with a standing shower but still spacious. Huge sofa in the living room (which can possibly sleep another person) and a dining table, all in between the 2 rooms. Everything is well maintained and clean, mini bar all inclusive, it's funny how they continue stocking the fridge even when we didn't drink any. I love the open wardrobe concept. Wished they had a full length mirror in the Twin-bed room though. The breakfast spread is good, a wide variety including live stations for eggs and congee and cuisines ranging from local Thai to international. They also have an extended selection on the weekends including a noodles live station. The pool, right beside the breakfast restaurant is a little small but enough to keep the kids occupied. The water is perpetually cold regardless of the time of the day. Staff here are excellent, always full of smiles, friendly and welcoming, from front desk to the buggy drivers, to the servers at breakfast. Certainly my choice hotel if I ever return to Khaoyai."

"I am pleased with the service and the hospitality extended by the staff. It is a nice environment, and they provided excellent delicious breakfast. However, some improvements are needed. 1) Sanitation. There are many houseflies in the hotel room. This can be better managed. And dogs should not be allowed into the breakfast area. 2) There are ongoing construction nearby during my stay. One is a minor hacking in one of the rooms. Another is a major construction opposite the river from my room. The construction started pretty early. The construction work can be seen from 2 of the photos posted."

"The room, view + food was amazing & great - no doubt. However, their service and cleanliness (especially about the sofa beds) seems to be seriously lacking. And it seems like dogs tend to stay here too. Which is highly concerning that they don't clean up the rooms properly. I've been having bed bugs/ticks on my clothes/body throughout 5 days now as I'm travelling from place to place. As if an invisible bug keeps biting me non stop. A rookie mistake was to sit on the sofa bed and then the real bed (which was incredibly soft and the 4 pillows were amazingly soft and smooth too) but all this went down the drain cause I cannot remove the bug anymore. It's constantly with me since it's infected all of my clothes too. I'll always end up with a scar/bite on my body. It sux. I told the staff about this and she simply gave me an awkward smile. This was disappointing. I believe they have to train their staff better together with maintaining the pest control for a better stay in future... also the place is super crazy dark at night.... no lights whatsoever into the hotel... pretty scary and that's the only thing about the location. You do need a car. Else, it's almost impossible. They have a hairdryer here for you and everything is laid out once you're there. There is a boiler for you too. The amenities are much appreciated."

"Excellent service, very quiet and peaceful. 🛏️ Room: Clean, spacious, minimalist decor with a balcony overlooking the garden. Air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, hot water, and everything else were provided. The bed was soft and comfortable, making it a great night's sleep. 👩💼 Service: The staff were lovely, friendly, and provided excellent information. They provided sincere service, making it feel like you were visiting a relative's home."

"This year we stayed for 1 night for our son to enjoy the Winter Fair. We previously stayed 2 years ago to attend this same fair. This year the fair got much bigger and offered some fun stuff which you usually find in an amusement park, but brought here on the golf course. We stayed in the cheapest room. The room is dated, there is cracking sound when you walk on the floor. But everything was clean. Service was good and ppl were polite to us. It served our purpose of stay, which was to attend the Winter Fair. We liked the deluxe room we stayed two years ago more, but as I said the cheapest (superior) room still served our purpose. However, without the Winter Fair we will stay at other properties though."

"My brother's place is comfortable. The price is good. It's on the way up to Khao Yai. At the entrance, there's a craft beer shop with good prices and delicious food."

"It is located quite central to everything, but it is a long, windy road to reach the resort from the main road. The resort is beautiful but dated. It is surrounded by lush green, but I think we were the only room occupied there."
