"Wonderful hotel! Sumptuous breakfast! Air-conditioning/ heating in the room could be improved though."

"It's well located next to the conference center. The staff is friendly and efficient. But this hotel lacks some facilities as a five star hotel. They don't even have a bar, but they have a sake lounge with machines that you can taste different sake. The hotel has a very nice observation floor on the top with a cafe & souvenir shop that you can see the whole city of Kobe. It was a good experience in general."

"Hotel is a convenient walk from the nearest bus stop, and it provides a comfortable feeling within the hotels itself. The buffet was delicious, and they feature daily changes on the rice to give an insight on the type of rice you can get from which part of their prefecture. Hotel service was great, and the comfortable night gown was a perfect touch as you wear it to call it a day when you sleep. Only thing is that there was no laudry facility in the hotel, but it was, in general a great experience."

"Location is near Bandai Centre, lots of shopping & eating nearby. If walking, a bit far from the train station. Front desk is helpful, room size is reasonable."

"Art hotel in Niigata is great. A very accessible location in many restaurants around especially the main station of Niigata. The hotel is clean and they have a very welcoming staff. We stayed there for one night only but we will definitely stay again."

"During the cherry blossom season in 2025, I chose Dormy Inn in all three cities. What I like most about Dormy Inn Niigata is that the room door faces the open-air atrium, which is spacious and bright, with fresh air, much more comfortable than the closed corridor. It is rare to find a hotel with this structure, and I really like it."

"Located a 10-minute walk from Niigata Station. There are various commercial facilities nearby, so it is very convenient if you are going shopping. The rooms are compact. Although it is old, it is well-cleaned."

"Nice hotel withe rooms of various sizes. For me it was spacious enough. Bed was comfortable, would have liked one more cushion. Room was clean an I liked that i could open the window. It was quite hot in the room because the heater was turned on. Even if i turned it off hot air came out. Room was clean and had everything i needed. You can also get things at the front desk. Breakfast was buffetstyle and really very good with a lot of choises, both Japanese, local and western. Location was very convenient near the train station. About max a 5 minutes walk. Near the hotel there are a lot of places to eat or have a drink. At the station is a shopping mall."

"I made a reservation for one night and stayed there. There is only one path from Niigata Station so it is easy to find! The large communal bath was spacious and there was also an open-air bath. If you install the dedicated app for the washing machine and dryer, you can pay with a credit card or a QR payment app. This is a hotel I would want to stay at every time I'm in Niigata City! The only disappointing points are that the WiFi is slow and the charging does not support Type C."

"Overall, the price/performance ratio is acceptable, after all, it is during the GW period. I bought a 2-day ticket to Echigo and went to Yahikoyama and Murakami Komachi. I also bought a one-day ticket for the Niigata loop bus and went to the aquarium, where I stayed for more than 2 hours. Then I went to Furumachi Flower Street to eat a bowl of highly praised ramen (らぁめん坎井), but the bus running time was too short and ended at around 5pm. I didn’t get to visit quite a few attractions, so I felt a little unsatisfied."
