"I made a reservation for one night and stayed there.
There is only one path from Niigata Station so it is easy to find!
The large communal bath was spacious and there was also an open-air bath.
If you install the dedicated app for the washing machine and dryer, you can pay with a credit card or a QR payment app.
This is a hotel I would want to stay at every time I'm in Niigata City!
The only disappointing points are that the WiFi is slow and the charging does not support Type C."

"good stay overall. Located near both to the Niggata station and Bandai bridge, it is a standard Japanese business hotel. It's a bit worn down, especially the room carpets and walls. Also sone amenities like coffee or tea are not available in your room, need to go down to the 2nd floor. Not practical. They also operate a no-clean policy during your stay, they just hand your towels on your door."

"I stayed by car. The location was about 25 minutes walk from Niigata Station, but about 10 minutes walk from the Bandai Bus Center and Nishibori area, so I thought it was a good location considering the ease of parking since I went around Niigata City. The building is a little old, but it was clean, the facilities were sufficient, and the customer service was good, so I was very satisfied."

It's nice to have a hotel near the station when it's raining ^_^
The main shopping area is on the north side of the station, so it's a quiet area on the opposite side. There is no convenience store at the hotel, but there is one nearby.

The parking lot was a parking space that surrounds the site, but I couldn't park it, so I was guided to a contract parking lot a little far away. There is no particular problem.
The room is also a simple style, but the unit bus is quite narrow. It was a little painful for me who was hard ^^;
Amenity is the minimum required, and there is a vending machine on the 1st and 3rd floors, and a coin laundry on the 3rd floor. There are no alcohols such as beer, so you should buy it in advance."

"Art hotel in Niigata is great. A very accessible location in many restaurants around especially the main station of Niigata. The hotel is clean and they have a very welcoming staff. We stayed there for one night only but we will definitely stay again."

Aaaron12The transportation is convenient in front of Niigata Station. You can take the bus from the airport directly to the hotel entrance. The room is not big and has an integrated bathroom. It feels a bit like a business hotel. Even after checking out, you can eat in the public area after buying food at the seafood market.

GGuest UserThe appearance is quite tired. However, check-in is early when you arrive. There is no waste. There are dorayaki, coffee jelly, ice cream, etc. in the lounge, and children will be happy. The room is very normal. Please boil water and drink it. Speaking of which, he brought it, but I want you to keep it on hand. And a thin part of the mattress. These two points are minus. The food is not luxurious, but the number of items is sufficient and satisfactory. It's a dull hall as a restaurant. Of particular note here is the staff. What I like most about Dormy Inn Niigata is that the room door faces the open-air atrium, which is spacious and bright, with fresh air, much more comfortable than the closed corridor. It is rare to find a hotel with this structure, and I really like it.

GGuest UserNice hotel withe rooms of various sizes. For me it was spacious enough. Bed was comfortable, would have liked one more cushion.
Room was clean an I liked that i could open the window. It was quite hot in the room because the heater was turned on. Even if i turned it off hot air came out.
Room was clean and had everything i needed. You can also get things at the front desk.
Breakfast was buffetstyle and really very good with a lot of choises, both Japanese, local and western.
Location was very convenient near the train station. About max a 5 minutes walk. Near the hotel there are a lot of places to eat or have a drink. At the station is a shopping mall.

SSanrifangzhuOverall, the price/performance ratio is acceptable, after all, it is during the GW period. I bought a 2-day ticket to Echigo and went to Yahikoyama and Murakami Komachi. I also bought a one-day ticket for the Niigata loop bus and went to the aquarium, where I stayed for more than 2 hours. Then I went to Furumachi Flower Street to eat a bowl of highly praised ramen (らぁめん坎井), but the bus running time was too short and ended at around 5pm. I didn’t get to visit quite a few attractions, so I felt a little unsatisfied.

GGuest UserHotel is a convenient walk from the nearest bus stop, and it provides a comfortable feeling within the hotels itself. The buffet was delicious, and they feature daily changes on the rice to give an insight on the type of rice you can get from which part of their prefecture.
Hotel service was great, and the comfortable night gown was a perfect touch as you wear it to call it a day when you sleep.
Only thing is that there was no laudry facility in the hotel, but it was, in general a great experience.
