"Positives: - Very close to the station - Modern hotel and modern room - Plenty of room space - Polite and friendly staff - Large bed Negatives: - Bathroom seems ”forgotten about” - Rest of hotel is spacious and modern. But the bathroom was tiny with very little space and felt out of place with the rest of the hotel. Bath was very narrow and small Overall: Very good location and modern hotel. Bathroom just stopped it from getting perfect score"

"Very nice hotel. Very comfortable, rooms very nice. Lots of choices of restaurant within the hotel. It's a bit of a walk from the Niigata train station (10mins?) so if it's cold and snowing, maybe abit more challenging, but on a nice weather day, it's a pleasant walk. Staff are super nice. I requested more pillows and towels, and were brought to my room very quickly."

"This is the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Japan. The breakfast was also very nice, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The underground parking is a good bonus too. There was a lovely and very enthusiastic grandma at breakfast. I love everything about this hotel, and if I ever have the chance to visit again, I would definitely choose to stay here. I love Niigata, such a charming place."

"Great value for money at this classic hotel. The room key is quite vintage, and they even provide free facial masks. The location is excellent, very close to Niigata Station, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The only downside might be the lack of a hot spring bath, which would be really nice to have, especially in winter."

"Check in and out is fast. Being part of JR Train Group gave it immediate accessibility in same building in 2 to 4 minutes. Hotel lobby 3rd floor is same floor with JR entrance. Besides Seven Eleven store and about 40 meters distance walking to Yoshinoya. Many food shops around South ,West,East entrance. Bic Camera just across street. Room is ok with bath separated from toilet."

"I misplaced my gloves some where at a town I was visiting. The hotel staff were very helpful to help me call these places that I visited to check if they can find my gloves. Despite the language barrier, they were very proactive in their assistance and help. I cannot help but feel the famous Japanese hospitality from their services. They have an in house restaurant that served local dishes that you must try in Niigata, their service were also very polite and welcoming. I felt extremely comfortable with my stay in the hotel because of their attention to service."

There is a large public bath, though small, so you can relax and unwind. The breakfast is as you would expect from Niigata, with delicious rice and satisfying contents. "I stayed in a standard semi-double room with a room-only plan that was on sale due to the live performance at Toki Messe. It was conveniently located within walking distance of Toki Messe. There was a convenience store and post office nearby, and a short walk away there were a few restaurants, so I had no trouble finding food even though I checked in late. I didn't have much opportunity to interact with the staff as I didn't use the restaurant, but the room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities."
