Caption by Hyatt Sydney is a 174-room hotel in one of Sydney’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. Blending bold design with intuitive tech, it invites guests to connect—with each other, their surroundings, and the local community. At its heart is Talk Shop, a casual restaurant, bar, and all-day hangout where guests can eat, drink, and enjoy the energy of the space, with local moments and happenings bringing it to life.
"This is a newly opened Hyatt hotel, and for the local area, the price offers decent value for money! The hotel's environment and cleanliness are good, but overall it's quite mini and cramped. The front desk is located on a half-level, making it very inconvenient to move luggage up and down. The automatic escalator's speed switch operates too slowly. During check-out, the front desk staff was very busy, and I had to wait a long time for them to assist with the elevator. Next, let's talk about the room. It's relatively spacious and bright, and very clean. However, the hallway is narrow, and the Asian staff start cleaning very early in the morning, making a lot of noise. I've already raised this issue with the manager! The soundproofing in the room isn't great, and the toilet is problematic – it doesn't flush completely in one go. The strangest electrical issue in the room is that it's sensor-based. If you're lying in bed using your phone, after a few minutes, it fails to detect anyone in the room and the power just cuts out!"
