"It has the most powerful kitchen, but it is too inconvenient to cook.
If you stay in an all suites hotel like this, you will definitely need to cook and do laundry. As the latest batch of oman hotels in 2023, this hotel has excellent kitchen hardware. The area is large, the facilities are new, and the brand is solid, even better than most home kitchens.
But the shortcomings are also very helpless. There are no knives, the pot is very small, there is no kitchen kit that can be borrowed, and there is not even basic salt and pepper. If you want to cook, you have to buy your own hardware. Compared with the same brand hotel in Dubai next door, there is a lot of room for improvement.
In addition, the hotel restaurant has not been repaired for 5 months. Therefore, the breakfast is very average (compared to other hotels in the same price range in Oman). Therefore, the hotel's breakfast has also been reduced to 5 OMR.
In terms of distance, the hotel is located in Qurum, and it takes about 20 minutes to drive from the airport. It's a relatively far hotel. But the surrounding life is convenient and close to the scenic spots."
"It was unfortunate we couldn’t get to check in earlier because we arrived earlier so we stayed at the lobby for 9-10 hours despite many emails sent to give them a heads up. Overall our stay was decent. Breakfast was good and service was good too."
"My experience in Haffa House The staff are very friendly, helpful, and kind, Their great attitude made my experience very pleasant so thank you for that!
I just wanted to suggest a couple of things:
It would be nice to have more variety in the breakfast For guests staying several days having the same breakfast every morning can get a bit boring.
As a woman who wears the hijab, I couldn’t really enjoy the swimming pool. I think it would be great if there could be a couple of hours in the morning just for women, so everyone can have the chance to use the pool comfortably."

"I had such a lovely stay at Sheraton Oman. From the moment I arrived, everything felt smooth and welcoming. One of my favorite things in the room was the coffee machine. I used it every day for my coffee break and absolutely loved it! The breakfast buffet was amazing, with so many options and everything tasting fresh and delicious. It was the perfect start to each day. The pool really stood out too - spacious, clean, and absolutely gorgeous. It was such a relaxing spot to unwind.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again!"
"Great location, 30 minutes from the sea.
The room is old, but perfectly adequate.
The only outlets in the room are Arabic.
In the evening, music plays from a nearby club.
The hotel was undergoing renovations for four days, and the hum of a drill was heard..."
"This hotel in Muscat is quite new. I stayed there for 2 nights. It is about 30 kilometers from the airport and is moderately priced.
The room is not too big or too small, but it is really expensive to add breakfast."

CChaohsienThe decor is amazing and the staff are very helpful and courteous. It's a top hotel. There are several chain restaurants in this area, but the transportation is not very convenient and there are not many shops nearby.
DD-MitriiGood location: a big supermarket and plenty of restaurants nearby plus Oman Avenues Mall and Muscat Grand Mall in just a half hour walking away. City's attractions like Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Opera or Qurum Beach are quite close to the hotel. It takes only about 15-20 minutes to get from there to airport by taxi, and if you would like to take a bus, A1 route stop is not too far on Sultan Qaboos Street.
Hotel staff is very friendly, I especially enjoyed my breakfast time there.
MMaria DivinaLocation is in a good neighborhood, you can cook and the room is spacious. Suitable for long stays. However for me, there are better hotels to stay at in the same price range. Encountered a problem multiple times with the door lock, overall it's ok. The wifi is also good.
HHans PeterExcellent buffet breakfast. Staff overall very friendly and helpful. Despite the location near the airport, absolutely quiet and without any noise from airport or traffic. Swimming pool in excellent condition. 15 minutes drive to center of Muscat. I highly recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserDecent clean functional hotel, extremely businesslike, everything as it should be but staff were very aloof and unhelpful, when I asked the receptionist to help me with a taxi she walked away, when I asked her colleague he refused and told me to use the ripoff opportunist taxi drivers that were constantly loitering in the lobby and change extortionate prices, customer care non existent but am absolutely fine hotel otherwise
GGuest UserThis hotel is strategically located close to the Avenues Mall. Attached to this mall (and closest entrance to the hotel) is Lulu Hypermarket -an amazing supermarket with local and international brands, and a fantastic bakery. This mall is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. However, you do have walk along the road as the sidewalk / footpath does not exist. But this is only for 300 metres. In fact you can get off the street, but it is gravel/ construction site, so you shoes will be messy. Uber and Grab do not exist in Oman. However, the hotel has two or three taxi drivers that will you take you anywhere. They use set rates, rather than a meter. For example Hotel to Airport run is 8 is Omani Rial (US $20). While this hotel is great for shopping, it is not the best for major attractions of Muscat. The main historical sites of Alam Palace, Ai Mirania Fort and National Museum is 21 kms from the hotel. About 10 Omani Rial is each way by taxi. However, there are very few hotels in this area, so most people stay in hotels near Malls in Oman. This is some form of Public Transport in Muscat, but it can be hard for tourists to use without changing to another bus or long walks. For example, the Royal Opera House is 10 kms from hotel. By using public transport this would require a 2.5 kms walk. The hotel rooms are quite spacious and feature comfortable lounge style chairs. The hotel is located near an expressway /motorway, but good soundproofing means this is not an issue. I was of level 3 and could just see the ocean in the distance (right) and the mall (to left). They do have ocean view room (more expensive higher up the building). The TV is very disappointing - small & old with fuzzy channels. Fortunately, the internet is great, so viewing most programs on the computer. The rooftop has great swimming pool and bar, but maybe a little too cold to swim with highs of about 22-23 C in winter. Staff at receptionist are very obliging. I can definitely recommend this hotel for shopping and good base to experience Muscat. However, as mentioned, it is long way from the major tourists attraction of the city and taxi is required.
GGuest UserExcellent location - close to shops, eateries, minutes away from the airport bus. Great pool on the roof top with panoramic views. Breakfast is fine with hot food selections changing from day to day.
The staff, both at the reception and restaurant, was very accommodating and helpful. Thank you!
The room was spacious and the bathroom amenities were acceptable. One suggestion is to retire some of the old towels; some were frayed at the edges.
IIsmail_ahamedMy overall experience at Muscat Plaza Hotel was somewhat good. Unfortunately, they lacked many things. For example, the room wasn't fully prepared, and I had to ask for toothpaste, slippers, and a toothbrush.
Additionally, the gym lacked many tools. They only had a treadmill, which is not what I consider a gym. It also closed too early at 9:00 PM.
I was only satisfied with the reception assistance and support
