"We had a great experience at this hotel. We stayed in a cozy ******* style room and also enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The room was very clean and well equipped, even supplying an oxygen machine that one could use in case of feeling altitude sickness. The hotel is run by a very lovely family who made our stay in Litang a great experience. The host spoke really good english, kindly showed us around Litang and it's most popular sites. Additionally we were able to explore the surrounding nature as we spent an afternoon mushroom picking together in the forest with the host and his friends. The host also supported us on our onward journey. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Litang, we felt very welcome and supported."

"A quiet guesthouse set back down a side street off the main road ( when Trip tells you that you have arrived walk to the end of the lane to the gate ahead of you). Good communication via WeChat. Helpful suggestions. Breakfast is ******* style. Rooms are spotless. Bed is very hard and pillows comfortable. Excellent powerful shower with heater in the bathroom. Squat toilet. It’s about a 20 minute walk from the minibus station (if you come from Kangding). 15 minute walk to the old centre."

"Whenever I visit Litang, this is the only place I'll stay – it truly feels like my home away from home. It's a place steeped in history, brimming with stories, and incredibly warm and welcoming. Its former establishment holds the treasured memories of a generation's youth, and now the new branch, strategically located beside the 318 Museum, is poised to become a witness to new stories unfolding along National Highway 318. "We stayed here in July during the horse festival. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly, but there were some significant issues. The shower only had hot water during the afternoon because they relied on a solar hot water heater. The shower did not drain properly. They did not have coffee or even tea at breakfast. The windows were low quality and the room was quite noisy from traffic. The lobby smelled of toxic paint or some kind of epoxy. It was very strong and intense. When we used the heating system , that smell ended up in our room! When we visit again, we will choose another hotel."

"The room is quite big, and it also has an electric blanket, which is nice. One side is facing the street. There are trucks passing by at night, which makes a little noise. There are supermarkets and restaurants downstairs which are very convenient😀"

"I have stayed at the most cost-effective hotel in Western Sichuan. The room facilities are very new and are exactly the same as the pictures in the comment area. Due to high altitude sickness, I was dizzy, nauseated and vomited the same day I arrived there. After struggling all night, I didn’t have time to take pictures of the room. You can refer to the comment area. The other review pictures are completely original. There is a shared bicycle about 50 meters away from the door. It can cover all the scenic spots in Litang. It is very convenient. It may be because of the off-season of tourism. There are no taxis from the bus to the entrance of Litang Bus Station. Boss Helped to solve the problem #The room facilities are brand new, air-conditioning, electric blanket and 24 hours of hot water#The location has shared bicycles for transportation, and you can hail a taxi during the day#The restaurant owner has a small restaurant on the first floor. There are not many food samples, but you can still be satisfied after eating. Yes, you can order takeout in Litang"

"There is nasal oxygen, there are a lot of food downstairs, there is parking on the roadside, there is a supermarket, and the fire station is behind. On the first day, I drove such a long distance from Kangding to Litang that I had altitude sickness. Fortunately, there was oxygen, otherwise I would not have been able to bear it! I haven’t had time to take a good look at the small town of Litang. The pillow is a bit high, so I have altitude sickness and can't sleep well. Also, there is a constant low-frequency sound in this parent-child room."

"The room in this B&B is the best place I have stayed in this time. The service attitude is good, the hygiene is very clean, and the bathroom is the most comfortable. The toiletries are complete, the slippers are very comfortable, and the equipment in the room is complete. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery in the room. Outside is their outdoor camping site. There is also a bonfire party restaurant where you can go to eat at any time in the evening. There is free oxygen supply in the room, which is worth experiencing."

AAnonymous UserWe stayed only one day in Litang (way too short) but had a fabulous time, and the people from the guesthouse were definitely part of this!
This is a real ‘homestay’, with a large common space for people to gather (see the picture), super friendly service from everyone working here, beautifully decorated rooms with high quality sanitary and amenities, and an oxygen machine in every room (useful at an altitude of 4000 meters), …
We wanted to go from from Litang to Shangrila and the owner helped us fetch a ride - highly appreciated!
Recommended.

However, the breakfast was included in the price, but they told us that the breakfast time was ONLY at 8.00 am. (not sooner, not later). The day that we left, we needed to have breakfast a bit earlier, and they told us that it was not possible, that the breakfast was only at 8.00 am

GGuest UserAs I stepped into the hotel, the girl at the front desk greeted me with a warm smile, which instantly dispelled the coldness in my body. There is a humidifier in the room, which provides diffuse oxygen and allows you to sleep well at night. There is a view outside the window and you can also see the stars at night✨. The room is large, clean and has strong indoor heating, so you can enjoy the spring-like warmth even in the cold night.
In the early morning, the sun shines through the window. When you open the window and look out, the snow-capped mountains come into view. In the restaurant, delicious food and nutritious breakfast are paired to start an energetic day.
Litang in winter is so beautiful and pure, and this hotel is a warm station in the ice and snow, which makes me feel at home during my journey. Next time I come, I will still choose it!

Check-in was incredibly efficient, and the friendly staff patiently answered my questions about transportation and dining. They also proactively reminded me of some essentials for a stay—very thoughtful.
I needed extra toiletries, and they were delivered promptly after a phone call. The response was incredibly prompt. Check-out was also handled in seconds, making the entire experience incredibly comfortable. The excellent front desk service really made this stay a truly memorable one. I'll definitely choose this hotel again!

GGuest UserThe owners were nice but I couldn't communicate in English. They have a hotel cat.
The room was really nice, but there were some issues. The ceiling was leaking water overnight. A constant drip sound and water on the floor, luckily not on the bed. My bathroom also has drainage problems. The floor was also very dusty and dirty. It was explained in the morning when a sledge hammer was being used on the floor above starting at 8am. Not a big issue, but they also didn't give me the obligatory two bottles of water. I had to boil my own. No heating, but there is an electric blanket.
This will be a good hotel once they sort a few issues out.

GGuest UserThe room I stayed in this time was very clean. I could enjoy the snow-capped mountains and grasslands outside the window. The location was excellent, and Room 318 was right outside my door. The room had good lighting, was cleaned quite well, and was quiet enough. For someone like me who has high requirements for sleep quality, it felt good. The front desk service attitude was good, enthusiastic and polite, and the overall feeling was good!

GGuest UserThe service is very good, but the oxygen supply time is not 24 hours, it is from 7pm to 2am, and my friend suffered from severe altitude sickness. I didn't know these 2 points at the beginning, so I'm providing them for reference for friends in need.
The facilities are relatively new and the hygiene is good.

Really cosy and comfortable.
Unfortunately the floor heating is not working very well and it can be quite cold, but there is a electric blanket so during the night you can have a good sleep.
The shower is leaking, should be fixed.
Also we booked with breakfast included but no breakfast was served.
Bit far from the center by there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
