"After returning from the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, I chose Ningwozhuang for a day of rest. The hotel service is particularly good, worthy of being an old state guesthouse. On the day of check-in, the waiter helped to take the suitcase upstairs and put it in the room. In the evening, there was a large plate of fruit, two peaches, a very large apple, and many cherry tomatoes, and two exquisite porcelain jars of homemade yogurt from the hotel. The hygiene is absolutely assured. Although the decoration is old-fashioned, the air in the room is very good, there is no peculiar smell, solid wood flooring, and the bedding is also very good. Comfortable. Because Lanzhou is dry, the room is equipped with six bottles of ice spring water, and a bottle is thoughtfully placed at the bedside to remind people to drink more water. GGuest UserThe front desk concierge service attitude was very good, and they also gave us drink coupons. We came back in the evening and exchanged for two cups of eight-treasure tea. The ingredients we chose were quite interesting. The lady Miaomiao and the brother Xiao Zhao on duty in the afternoon of the 24th were particularly good. They recommended that we use ** to buy breakfast, which was 50% off and very affordable. The guy on duty at the gym on the evening of the 24th was also very good. The breakfast service of the guy on duty at breakfast on the 25th was also super good. The latte art was well received. The breakfast was rich and fresh. The hotel facilities were new, the rooms were spacious and the scenery was pleasant. I highly recommend it.

KKevan KeeganOnly ten minutes walk from Mayan metro station and a ten minute ride to Lanzhou West rail station for airport and bullet trains. Plenty of restaurants and food trucks in a short stroll including excellent BBQ Uyghur food opposite. Room was great size and tastefully modern while lobby area stunningly tranquil and zen.
Hotel is practically brand new as is the immediate city district and a few snagging problems still exist. In my room the AC Couod not be operated so a window was always open. And the fancy electronic WC appeared to have no electric connections as module didn’t work. In hall outside room there was ongoing minor repair to the flooring.
Amazingly good value for money and high standard Bed and bathroom plus enormous TV all working 100%.

The sound insulation between rooms is very good. It is on a high floor and completely isolated from the outside noise. It is very friendly to people like me who prefer a quiet environment. Turn left from the gate and go north for a few dozen meters to the Yellow River, and then go west for 200 meters to the Zhongshan Bridge. The Dazhong Lane downstairs from the hotel is a gathering place for delicious food. There are all kinds of Lanzhou delicacies to eat during the day and at night, making dining very convenient. The room facilities are relatively complete and the house is clean and tidy. The bedding on the bed is very comfortable, with two types of pillows: silk cotton pillow and latex pillow, which is convenient for different people to choose. The front desk customer service is very enthusiastic and any problem can be solved immediately by calling. The lobby is equipped with self-service coffee and water dispensers. The room should have been renovated not long ago. It belongs to the latest generation of Hanting configuration, equipped with electric curtains and automatic toilet. The washbasin, toilet and bath are separated into dry and wet areas. Worth recommending.

ZZiyouyoudangdehuashinaiI booked two nights at first, and I thought it was good, so I booked two more nights:
First of all, the room was clean and tidy, the bedding and bath towels were relatively new, and the mattress was very comfortable;
Secondly, the cleaning lady worked very hard. When she saw the pills I dropped on the ground, she thought I was not feeling well, and she also helped me wipe the dust off the suitcase, which was very touching;
The service attitude of the ladies at the front desk was very good, polite and smiling, and meeting all requirements. The hotel also provides dinner, and the price is also favorable, which is very convenient.
The disadvantage is that it would be better if a refrigerator could be provided in the room.

TTraveling BritFirst of all the hotel is in a great location, right next to Lanzhou centre (with direct access) near the gansu museum and gansu women and children's hospital. If that's not enough it's also close to the subway station.
The rooms were spacious and clean and we felt very comfortable in them, the morning breakfast had plenty of options and was satisfactory. My only issue with this hotel is the elevator wait times (although that's not an issue with the hotel itself rather the building) when going from the ground floor to the hotel rooms we would often wait a few.minutes for the lift, when it arrived people would push infront ensuring no more space.
When I left the hotel at 10 in the morning it took me over 20 minutes to just get an elevator with space to go down, i tried taking the stairs but the doors were locked.
Overall a good hotel i wouldn't stay again just because of the elevator, everything else is perfect.

GGuest UserThe staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped me order takeaways online and navigate the apps. The were also very quick to respond if there were issues. Only thing I would say is that the hotel is supposed to be non-smoking (that’s what I was told), but on multiple occasions I could smell smoke in the bathroom through the vent (very strong). I made a complaint and they said they spoke to the guest but unfortunately this didn’t stop. Cleanliness could have been better as when I first had the room, the room did smell smoky including the pillows. I had to re-clean the wood in the room myself with towel and soap since it was dusty and had a strong smoke smell so I couldn’t sleep and it gave me a headache. I think the rooms need a deep clean if you are to get rid of smoke smell from the bed, furniture, wood. You have your own aircon which is good so there is not a central system.

Even before arrival we reached out to Li and she promptly promised to send a car to meet us upon arrival at Langzhouxi. The Tumendun metro station is right in front of the hotel. So is the bus stop which serves buses running to several Lanzhou attractions.
Aside from the obvious locational advantages the thing that strikes me most is the warmth and hospitality of the family running the place. Everyone from father, mother, 2 sons to DIL was eager to help with any questions that we might have. We couldn’t believe how patient they were in providing invaluable insights for the benefit of the tourist.
The room and bathroom were kept clean. Hot and cold water were readily available as well as a kettle.
We are grateful and would like to thank the whole family for treating us like family during our short stay here!
