Despite the thrilling winding mountain road, the hotel is still quite distinctive. You can see the hotel's honeycomb exterior in Lao Dabao Village, which looks like an alien flying object halfway up the mountain. The room has a strong sense of design and advanced facilities, but I booked the wrong room type. You need to climb stairs from the living room to the bedroom to the viewing platform in the honeycomb room, which is not suitable for the elderly. The bar and cafe have a great view. The villagers' performance that night was not scheduled, and a sightseeing bus took everyone to Lao Dabao Village the next day to watch the village evening.

The lady at the front desk thoughtfully prepared backpacks with ethnic costumes and hats for us to take photos. The driver and tour guide took us for a walk along the way. There was also a designated hotel in the ancient village. In the teahouse, you can enjoy a cup of tea while viewing the mountains. The hotel also brings fruits and snacks, which is very thoughtful and warm! The hotel package I booked included the experience of making tea cakes. A tea artist took me to visit the tea factory, and then I pressed the Pu'er tea cakes myself and wrote my name and message with a brush. It was very ritualistic, haha! The sutra copying and tea garden afternoon tea included in the package were also great. The tea artist lady (I think her surname is Tian) also carefully recorded a short video for me to take as a souvenir. I really want to thank her! I stayed in a standard double room on the second floor, which did not compromise on space. The location is relatively good. It is at the highest point of the village and only 500 meters away from the Chazu Temple. The road up the mountain from the roundabout is a bit bumpy, but driving is no problem. You can sit around the fire in the evening, and the boss's corn wine is delicious.
