"The Buddhist Temple next to the homestay and the place to walk up is a good viewing platform to see the sun and the sea of clouds. The boss also has a platform. Next to it is the Cooper. The environment is very good. The young lady is also very enthusiastic (the boyfriend is also a very good guy haha), please drink tea ~ recommended recommendation"
"It was our first time in Jingmai Mountain. This B&B is a single-family villa, built using traditional craftsmanship. It felt like the entire property was yours. The accommodation is on the second floor, with a small terrace where you can sit and sip tea, gaze out over the scenery, and admire the village. Downstairs is a small tea room, similar to a small cafe, with a larger terrace. It was a very comfortable stay, perfect for relaxing and daydreaming. The hostess was incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive, making you feel like family. The owner was also incredibly kind. After we checked in, she came over to chat and have tea with us, and explained the room amenities. She was very attentive. Their breakfast, the local rice noodles, were truly delicious. We didn't stay there later, but we came back every day for them. We were initially worried about getting used to staying in such a traditional building, so we only booked one night. We regretted our underbooking the day we checked in. We had hoped to stay there again later, but it was fully booked, so we had to find another place in the village. But the hostess was incredibly kind. Although we weren't able to stay longer, she took us to see fireflies at night and toured her tea factory during the day, where we enjoyed tea and chatted. When we left Jingmai Mountain, she even gifted us with plenty of tea for our next trip. If I visit Jingmai Mountain again, I won't make the mistake of booking just one night—I'll dedicate my entire vacation to Yugexiang, to that breathtaking old house, and to the people who treat their guests like family."
"The innkeeper is fantastic! They kindly offer pick-up and drop-off services to the bus stop, which is conveniently located about 1km away. The guesthouse is impeccably clean, and it's a lovely spot to unwind with a cup of tea and a good chat. You can even enjoy stargazing at night! For a more comfortable and spacious stay, I'd recommend opting for a double room."
"For my trip to Jingmai Mountain this time, I chose to stay in Wengji. I booked Shishi Guesthouse because of its reputation for delicious food, and the overall experience truly exceeded expectations! The guesthouse has a fantastic location with its own courtyard. From the window, you can enjoy stunning views of lush greenery and beautiful sunsets. It has ten rooms in total; the twin rooms are mostly on the first floor (some even come with loungers!), while the double rooms are located on the second floor. The rooms are simply decorated yet cozy and welcoming, which is quite good for a mountain accommodation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The guesthouse owner and staff were incredibly warm, hospitable, and genuine. During the Chinese New Year, they even organized singing performances and outdoor grilling sessions around a fire pit. Most importantly, the food here is delicious! At meal times, the dining area gets packed with outside guests coming specifically to eat. If you're staying at the guesthouse, remember to book your meals in advance. Jingmai Mountain, I'm already looking forward to my next trip!"
"The homestay is under the Wengji Ancient Village, facing the tea garden and the sunset. When others are crowding the car on the observation deck, I have washed the car and washed the car in the sunset. The boss did not say that he was thoughtful and attentive, and he really felt at home. In terms of facilities, the water is hot enough, the hardness of the bed is right, the bedding is clean, and there is nothing wrong with it."
"The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities and a large space, just like in the pictures.
You can see the sea of clouds and sunset from the terrace of the room🤩The boss and his family are very warm and kind, always helping with luggage. If you need anything, just call and it will be delivered immediately😁Although the breakfast is simple, it is made after the guests get up. It is very comfortable to eat a bowl of hot rice in the cold weather. The driver who rented the car on the mountain recommended by the boss was also very nice☺️
In short, it was a great experience. If I didn’t have other plans later, I would really like to stay for a while. I will definitely choose to stay here next time I come to Jingmai Mountain😊"
"I booked this place because it was close to the travel photography shop I booked. When I arrived, I found that the location was very good. A little higher up is the temple of the village. A little further ahead is the center of the village. The room is very new. I regret not booking a view room with a balcony. But the floor-to-ceiling window in the standard room is also good. There are big trees outside the window and you can see the sea of clouds. The bed is also comfortable. There are very few mosquitoes! ! It is very rare in the mountains! The service of the brother is also very good. Helped with the luggage and enthusiastically invited us to have tea. Finally, when I left my bag in the room, he personally delivered it to me. Thank you so much."
"The location of the passenger station is very easy to find, it is very convenient to get on and off the bus, and it is very quiet to sleep at night. The most important thing is that the boss is very good and will take you to see the sunset and the stars. All the ladies who stay in are ladies. You can also chat at night and find a travel partner to go shopping and take pictures together. The traffic in the scenic spot is not good, and the boss is also very responsible and will help you contact how to go to the attractions and how to come back. Although it is a public bathroom, it is also very convenient on the same floor. The view outside the store is also good. Recommended stay."
"The location of the homestay is particularly good, facing the best Qiuqiu restaurant in the stockade. Going 200 meters up is the bar, a great seat to take pictures of the sunset atmosphere. Going 100 meters to the left of the homestay is the Canna Coffee Shop, which is very suitable for taking pictures and sitting. Going downhill to the right is under the sour horn tree and Ben No craftsmanship, all very close! The slope that is not available has a Donghe barbecue taste. It’s okay to go to other stockades and call a car on the mountain, which is very convenient. Wengji feels a bit boring, nothing to go shopping, dried bamboo shoots are not bad, there are more green plants, rain forest coffee I feel very good! Sunrise and sunset and delicious or Manghong, because quite a lot of houses are not in the repair house, it is very suitable for quiet and looking for a store to sit and watch the scenery. The bed and pillows of the hotel are soft and the surrounding area is very quiet at night, so it is suitable for sleeping. The window view is even more beautiful! ! ! Especially the sunset, after a while, it will be like a painting. There is also a small bar seat outside the room, where you can sit and watch the sunset. Jingmai Mountain is really suitable for relaxation, the longer you stay, the more you like it! ! The boss’s house also has fungus picking, tea picking, and tea making. It’s not long enough to play. Uncles and aunts are also very good. ~ I will come back again if I have a chance in the future."

Review: Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) - A Tea Mountain Retreat
As a self-proclaimed “well-travelled” individual, I never expected Jingmai Mountain to take my breath away again—but it truly did. The journey here is a testament to Yunnan’s untouched beauty, with rolling emerald tea fields, ancient forests, and villages where ethnic tribes have lived for generations.
We decided to stay at Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) instead of the many BnBs on the mountain, having often found those overpriced and lacking in cleanliness. What a pleasant surprise this hotel turned out to be!
From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made it feel like home. Many of the team members come from nearby tea-farming communities, and their passion for the land was palpable. They didn’t just serve tea—they shared stories of the heritage behind it, offering insights into the different tea varieties and local traditions.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality linens. I loved waking up to the sound of roosters and the first rays of sunshine streaming through the window. If you’re like me and prefer to leave the window open at night, the fresh mountain air is the perfect way to start your day.
For breakfast, don’t miss the fresh rice noodles and seafood congee—so flavorful! The fruit selection was also fresh and changed daily.
A pleasant surprise was finding Cha Ling (a premium LVMH brand) as the hotel’s amenity. Made with tea extract, it added a luxurious touch to my stay.
One of my favorite experiences was the traditional tea baking session, Wei Lu Kao Cha. We gathered around a carbon stove, sipped Pu’er tea, ate locally harvested fruit and nuts, and learned to bake our own tea leaves under the guidance of tea masters.
The staff’s pride in their cultural heritage shone through in every interaction, making what could have been a simple stay feel like an immersive cultural journey.
For anyone looking to experience the authentic soul of Yunnan’s tea mountains, Eterna Venue Hotel offers more than just a place to stay—it provides a meaningful connection to this beautiful region.
Staying at Lancang Jingmaifu Hotel is so pleasantly surprised! The environment behind the mountain and the water is like a secret hidden in nature. The greening is super good. Walking in the park is full of fresh air. The room is spacious and comfortable. The bedding is soft. It is a good night's sleep. The most intimate is the service. The front desk not only helps with luggage to send the room. I also recommended the play route of Jingmai Mountain and the local must-eat flavor. Even the children's playground and swimming pool that children like are well prepared. The whole family has a great time. I will definitely choose here next time I come to Lancang!
The room was clean and tidy, the layout was very good, the hotel location was very convenient, and it was very fast to go to play and eat. The service is also very warm and thoughtful, a great stay experience, beautiful Pu'er charm Lancang, next time you have the opportunity to come again, you will still choose this hotel!
(I forgot to take pictures when I stayed too immersed, but the environment is very comfortable, there is a gym, and the car can go directly to the door)

MM229054****The room is very big, villa-style room, you can see the sea of clouds when you open the door, and you can see the sea of clouds on the roof, with a wide view. The boss is very nice and enthusiastic, there is tea to drink at any time, breakfast in the morning, and there is brewed tea on the dining table when you get up. The surrounding is very quiet, and there are many stars at night. The restaurant that the boss lady recommended to us is delicious, the portion is large and the price is affordable. It is the best meal we had in Jingmai Mountain for a few days. In short, her restaurant is highly recommended.
AAnonymous UserThe room is clean, tidy and bright, with complete audio-visual facilities; the shower room is large enough, and the shower head has a large amount of water; the quality of the bedding is higher than that of ordinary B&Bs. I am glad that I chose this store and was able to sleep well. It is very important to have a good rest environment after traveling to Jingmai Mountain. It is inconvenient to take a car between the villages, and there is anxiety about using the car. Fortunately, the beautiful proprietress Xuanman picked us up from the bus to the village and sent us to other villages to take a car to Banna. She is very attentive, thank you. In the evening, we also invited everyone to drink tea and chat upstairs, which was relaxing and comfortable. I recommend everyone to stay.
GGuest UserLocation and convenience: Describe the location of the hotel and whether it is convenient to reach the main attractions, business districts or transportation. Facilities and services: evaluate the facilities offered by the hotel, such as gym, swimming pool, business center, etc., as well as the quality of customer service, including the efficiency and friendliness of the front desk staff. Room comfort: discuss the cleanliness of the room, the size of the space, the comfort of the bed, and any special amenities (such as flat-screen TV, minibar, etc.)
GGuest UserHotel environment: It is in Mangjing Village, the location is very good, you can see the scenery when you go out. The decoration is good and very warm. The boss's house is very big. Every household here grows tea and you can taste the tea. When I came, I saw many people drinking tea in the yard. Boss service: warm and considerate, always smiling and very nice. He offered to help with the luggage, and after asking, I found out that the boss was from the Wa ethnic group. The two children ran around barefoot, and he also offered to help bring water. There was a funny episode. A rooster crowed on the first night. I told the boss about it the next day, and he caught the rooster. Hahahahaha. It was even possible. It was very quiet the next day. The overall tour of Jingmai Mountain is very comfortable. The people I met are simple, reliable and very interesting. I highly recommend it.
AAnonymous UserThis trip to Jingmai Mountain (the same as Eddie Peng) was upgraded to an awesome in-depth tour experience because we stayed in this homestay!
The owner of the B&B is a member of the Bulang ethnic group. It is located on Jingmai Mountain. As soon as you enter the door, you will be warmed by the cozy atmosphere and feel as comfortable as if you were back home. The boss and his wife were so enthusiastic that they not only helped me arrange my itinerary, but also personally took me to check in at Ayleng Mountain, explore the ancient village, and walk into their tea farm to experience the wonderful journey of tea from branches to teacups.
The room design is amazing, overlooking the entire Jingmai Mountain, and you can see the dreamy scene of clouds and mist in the house. If you are lucky, you can encounter magnificent sea of clouds and beautiful sunset, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery without leaving your home.
The location of the B&B is perfect. It is very convenient to go to various attractions and saves a lot of time. The room is clean and comfortable, with complete facilities and attention to detail.
During this trip, I not only appreciated the beauty of Jingmai Mountain, but also gained a deeper understanding of the local culture. I sincerely recommend everyone to come to Jingmai Mountain, and I also strongly recommend this homestay!
Yyhj1310I booked a twin room on the second floor, which had a great view and could watch the sunset. The room was also very clean, and the bedding was new! The owners of this guesthouse are very simple and honest Bulang and Lahu people. They don't talk much, but they are very nice. The son-in-law is a Lahu young man born in the 90s, and he cooks very well. The crab leg stewed chicken and the stir-fried chicken breast are especially delicious! The location of the guesthouse is excellent, very convenient to go anywhere. It's only 600-800 meters away from the Queen Bee Tree and the Princess Banyan Tree. They will take guests to the viewing platform to watch the sunrise in the morning. Highly recommended!
LLisanne SchutReally recommend staying here! We booked this hotel last minute, and were really happy with our stay! We were welcomed with delicious local tea. The hosts helped us rent an electric bike which was perfect for seeing the surrounding villages and ancient tea forests. They were very helpful since we don’t speak any Chinese, but this wasn’t a problem at all. The area is really beautiful and special and Jingmai is one of our favorite places in China so far.
The room itself was spacious, new and very clean. Breakfast was delicious.
XXiaowangzia-17The only inn in the ancient village of Ligan (seems to be), parking is convenient. There is a parking space in the scenic spot (at the entrance of the village). You can contact the boss to pick up your luggage. People with less luggage walk in quickly. The accommodation conditions are clean as a whole, the whole village is the original village without modification, the locals cook rice and smoke, the room is wooden, the sound is not good, you can take a bath with hot water, although small but complete. The boss is very enthusiastic and there is also a restaurant to eat. At night, just in time for the village celebrations, Zhaixin roasting fire dancing ~ The original ecology is a good place, much better than Wengji, there is no commercialization here, and it is protected.
FFC6685I originally planned to book this hotel to see the sea of clouds, but the weather was too good so there was no sea of clouds. However, the sunrise from the platform of the inn was also great. The owner's family has a large tea factory, and the inn is just a sideline business, so drinking tea and eating are very casual. The owner's wife will take you around the village and see the tea ancestor tree when she has time. It feels very relaxing. I will come again in January next time to see the winter cherry blossoms and the sea of clouds.
VVeraFor a visit to Jingmai mountain this hotel is perfectly situated. The tourist office is right across and from here you can take a bus to Jingmai. Nearby are good restaurants and breakfast noodle places, as well as basic shops with fruit and vegetables. The best thing about the hotel is the incredibly friendly and helpful management, who will assure you have the best experience! Thank you for your kindness and care :)
