I didn't expect to be able to live in such a satisfactory hotel in the county. We arrived late from Kunming on the flight, and we were pleasantly surprised to see the self-service area with rice porridge and white fungus. Breakfast is also the only one that can be eaten from morning to 1 pm breakfast lunch included, and even after 7 pm female customers can also ask for brown sugar stew soup.
The sanitation is very clean, the voice control is in place, and even the curtains can be switched on and off by voice control. The room is very spacious.
Many details can be seen, the hotel's service is very attentive.
The soft decoration is also very careful, and there are gourd-shaped lights on the bedside table. Xiaoqian at the front desk told us that gourds are the symbol of the Layi people.

1. The hotel has to drive up to the top of Wengji Village, and the road is quite difficult.
2. The bathroom is open-air. Opposite the bathtub in the picture is the shower room and toilet. There are no doors or windows (it should be the local style. As a result, it is quite cold to take a shower in the toilet every day when the temperature difference is large between morning and evening.
3. The water is indeed yellow (this should be the case in the entire Jingmai Mountain)
4. The food is really not delicious 😭 (You can’t chew chicken if you eat two of them, and the vegetables are very bland, even people like me in the free shipping area find it tasteless)

This B&B just opened in February 2024 and is very clean. The landlady doesn't trust asking an aunt to clean, so she does everything herself, which shows that the landlady is very demanding. The landlady is very nice, warm and thoughtful, and you really feel at home. The breakfast is also great, the dried rice is delicious and the fruit is fresh. The free-range eggs and sweet potatoes are both hot. There are tall trees outside the window, and the view is great! Now I'm lying in bed and commenting sincerely, so I won't take pictures, haha

After I arrived, the boss also helped me rent a car. The proprietress also made tea for us very enthusiastically and introduced the life of the locals. It really felt very warm.
In the end, I had to leave. The boss said that he and his friends were going to have a picnic by the stream and invited us together. I was really happy to experience making a fire next to the stream, catching fish, drinking and singing. It is strongly recommended that the boss treat the picnic by the stream as a value-added project! ! ! Absolutely unforgettable for life! ! ! !

Scenery is just like the photo, you can have full view of the clouds in the mountain every morning.
Reception is hospitable and allow us to use cash even though most ppl uses Wei Xin to pay here.
Cleanliness can be looked into as the towels have some stains if u look closely. Room is slightly old and needs some maintenance.
Other than that, I think this is one of the better lodging in this area as of now.

GGuest UserI think the scenery outside the window is invincible! In a very quiet little village. The boss and his wife are very, very nice! We arrived in the afternoon and drove to Nuogan Ancient Village first. When we went back in the evening, the boss and his wife entertained us with their own tea and told us about the local cultural customs and customs! The lady boss was particularly talkative and chatted with us for more than an hour. The meat, rice noodles, corn and eggs cooked for us the next morning were very delicious. This is a very recommended B&B. Clean and tidy and cheap! The service is thoughtful and enthusiastic! The view outside the window is unbeatable! Unfortunately, it is said that the sea of clouds can only be seen in September and October, otherwise this must be the best viewing spot!
About Jingmai Mountain: It’s very frustrating to drive here. The 40 to 50 kilometers of mountain roads are all gravel roads. My 20-inch 45-inch thick tires really only dare to drive about 20 kilometers per hour. I’m really afraid of punctures or punctures. The other road down the mountain is a two-way single-lane concrete road with countless sharp turns. The grass on both sides is taller than my big SUV. Anyone who knows how to drive this way down the mountain will understand! I've had a car for 20 years. So friends who come to Jingmai Mountain for self-driving must drive carefully!

GGuest UserThe hotel is in Mangjing Shangzhai, very close to the Queen Bee Tree. I stayed for two nights and woke up every morning listening to the birds singing. The air was very fresh when I opened the balcony door. I really liked this big balcony. There was roasted tea and Brown singing in the evening. It was good to organize activities to visit the ancient village during the day. However, the level of the hotel's guides really needs to be improved. It may be related to the cultural level and knowledge. The service is very good.

GGuest UserThe location had great views over the valley, including the early morning sea of cloud. The property has a rooftop lookout that our group could get together to enjoy the view.
It helped that our taxi could drive through the narrow road of Mengben village and deposit us and our luggage on the doorstep of the homestay. This is unlike Wengji & Nuogang villages, where cars are not allowed to enter the village but deposit visitors at the village carpark.
The hospitality of the owner/hostess was remarkable.
She had a Pu'er tea table and made us endless cups of different tea all grown in her farm, explaining their differences and virtues. She did not charge us a cent for the whole experience. Neither did she try to hard sell the tea leaves although we did buy a small amount off her because we enjoyed the tea. She is a good cook and whipped up breakfast and lunch for us.

You can contact the boss to pick up your luggage. People with less luggage walk in quickly. The accommodation conditions are clean as a whole, the whole village is the original village without modification, the locals cook rice and smoke, the room is wooden, the sound is not good, you can take a bath with hot water, although small but complete. However, when I checked out, the waiter said I was late and that the latest time was 2 o'clock because the cleaners had all gone off duty. Very unfriendly attitude. I thought I had remembered the time wrong, but when I checked the software I saw that it could indeed be delayed to 3pm. As the screenshot shows, the check-out time was only around 2:15 pm. The girl at the front desk must have forgotten that she is working in the service industry. We don't come out to have fun, not to cause trouble, but it's not okay to suffer bullying for no reason. So for those who haven't reviewed a review for a day, I'd like to give you a good review. You've brought honor to this hotel!

VVeraFor a visit to Jingmai mountain this hotel is perfectly situated. The tourist office is right across and from here you can take a bus to Jingmai. Nearby are good restaurants and breakfast noodle places, as well as basic shops with fruit and vegetables. The best thing about the hotel is the incredibly friendly and helpful management, who will assure you have the best experience! Thank you for your kindness and care :)
