"I recently stayed at this hotel and was very pleased with my overall experience. First of all, the hotel's location is very advantageous, with convenient transportation and many dining and shopping options nearby. Secondly, the hotel room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities and comfortable beds, which allowed me to get a good rest during my journey. The service staff is enthusiastic and efficient. Both the front desk reception and room service make me feel very considerate. In addition, the hotel's dining is also excellent, with rich and varied dishes, authentic taste and reasonable prices. "I was completely ‘WOW’ by the services and the cleanliness of my rooms during my stay at Shangri La Nanchang. The cleaners who cleaned my rooms were consistent in maintaining clean and sparkling surface top of my rooms. We were given connecting rooms (2713 & 2714) which made it easier for me to walk over to my children without stepping out of my room in my pyjamas. Manager Mr Hank Zhang ensured my stay was pleasant, convenient and enjoyable for me as he knew that I was staying there for 5D4N with my 3 children. Counter staff Ms Ava Li was friendly and professional in handling my request with thoughtful act and professionalism. Thank you to all the staff in Shangri La Nanchang for making my last lap of the China trip a pleasant, enjoyable and comfortable stay from 21 to 25 December 2024. I would strongly recommending EVERYONE to stay at Shangri La Nanchang. Lastly, the bell boy and traffic control staff were always helpful and friendly in treating every guest with respect. Well done Shangri La Nanchang for training all your staff with pride and respect. ❤️💪👍😊 You can watch the fountain dancing every night at 7pm to 7.15 pm and 8pm to 8.15 pm. 🎄"

I also met Fan Fan (Chrissie Fan) who came to the concert at the door of the hotel. The types and nutrition of breakfast are very attentive, and the service is also very warm and thoughtful. The three-day and two-night stay experience is very good. I saw ”old facilities and not many types of buffet breakfast” in other comments before, and I was a little worried. After testing it myself, I think it is still in line with the quality and standards of a five-star hotel~ The room environment is very good, the hygiene is good, and it is very convenient to go out to the subway station. There are service staff who call in advance to ask about needs. The service of Xiao Wang in guest service is also very good. I stayed for two nights and was very satisfied overall."

"Very strange. After checking in, I went out for dinner. While gone, I got some messages on WeChat from the front desk that there was a problem. When I returned, they told me that they couldn't register me and they needed more information. This is the first time that I had to show and have pictures taken of all my work visas I have had since I last entered the country six years ago, especially since there is no problem with my current visa. I don't know if it is the hotel itself that wanted this or the local PSB when they were registering me. Whatever the reason, it made me feel unwelcome. Other foreigners wanting to stay here - you might not be welcome. The law says that they must accept you, and they will accept you, but you know that they still don't want you to be there."

"When travelling, especially with a kid, cleanliness in a room is THE priority. Well, the room was NOT clean. The counter top in the bathroom was stained AND dirty, the room was dusty (you could see dust on the mirrors and other surfaces) and the floor was full of shoes footprints of different types. We asked for the room to be cleaned as we checked in, while we went for a walk, more than one our later we came back, the room was dirty as we left it.
I’m sorry but for such a price, in a 5 star hotel, this is absolutely not acceptable.
Besides, I seriously doubt that the measurements of the room are correct as it seemed waaaay smaller than what officially stated in the room info.
The view of course is breathtaking, that’s true.
Mind also that there is absolutely no separation between the wet room and the bedroom, no door, no curtains…so no privacy while taking a bath. And also that there is no fridge.
The lady at the reception was lovely, really kind, but it doesn’t make up for a dirty room."

"This top revolving hotel is well located in the older part of Nanchang. It’s a block from the night “ walking street” & 2 blocks from thousand bless palace food place. Good 10 minutes walking distance to local tourist attraction “ King Teng palace” by the River. Breakfast is good but not spectacular, only one option for coffee though. Top feature was the revolving restaurant though a little aged , is still an attraction. I believe this hotel can do better to enhance its image through a little modernization. Lighting controls in our room is a little confusing. Thermostat cooling was not favourable at times, heating for bathing water can be a little delayed at times. Other than that, all was well."

"It was my first time to stay at Crystal Orange. The room was very clean, the decoration was in a log style, the bedding was clean, and I slept very comfortably. Because Zhou Shen held a concert, it was also my first time to come to Nanchang. The hotel provides a pick-up and drop-off service from Nanchang West Station, which is very convenient. The service staff at the front desk are very enthusiastic. They also gave two bottles of warm water and two companions when checking out. The gift is very warm and the overall feeling is good!"

GGuest UserWe drove 8 hours to get here with our two dogs. We were the only guests staying that night. The landlady upgraded the room for free and cooked ginger, red dates and pear soup for us in the evening. The room is very new and clean, and the corridor is close to the mountainside vegetation. This is a hotel that has been completely renovated from an ancient village. It has food, accommodation and transportation. This hotel is at the highest point of the village. From the balcony of the room, you can see the courtyards and different rooftops of the houses below. The landlady asked us to put down our luggage and go to the top of Meiling to see the freezing rain. It was really worth the 8-hour drive. Unfortunately, most of the photos are on the camera and can only be taken after the trip. If you take your pets out, or if you like a quiet environment and hiking, I really recommend this place!

GGuest UserStayed here in end Oct. Ji Hotel entrance is just beside Mercure Hotel entrance, so don’t enter the wrong one. Comfortable bed with double pillows and the only hotel (out of 5 we stayed in this trip) that provided fridge and free mini bar in the room. Good breakfast spread and quality with local specialities like jar soup and noodles. However, the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working properly, so the room was warm and stuffy. When we called the reception about it, we were given a silly excuse and a standing fan which was dusty and not standing straight. Not only did they not bother to wipe the dust off the fan before letting us use it, the staff who brought the fan to our room was impolite and left the fan at the door expecting us to move the dusty fan into the room ourselves. This is not the service standard we expect from Mercure. They gave us 2 packs of local noodles as gifts to make up for the unpleasant experience when we complained about it during check out

The young lady, Zhu Ling, gave us her WeChat number when we checked in so we could contact her whenever we had questions or requests. That's some service assurance! The maintenance lady volunteered to go to the laundry room to help us out when she overheard we had issues using the washing machine. The room is clean and spacious and the train station is close by. Their free breakfast was fresh and delicious. Definitely will be back if we come to Nanchang again!

Although the staff are not fluent in English, they use translation sofrware to supplement their English language knowledge and the staff are extremely helpful. XXinSwallowThis trip to Nanchang was very satisfactory. The booked hotel was near the subway station. It took 5 minutes to walk down. The location was in the old city. Although it was a bit old, there were many local snacks in Nanchang around. It tasted very good and it was convenient to travel. The twin room booked is a bit small, but the sparrow is small, complete, and the interior is clean and tidy.

I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang and found it to be a pleasant and comfortable experience, offering great value for both business and leisure travelers. Located conveniently in the Honggutan District, the hotel is well-positioned for access to local attractions, shopping centers, and the business hub of the city.
The Good:
1. Comfortable Rooms:
The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room featured an ergonomic work desk, which was great for getting some work done. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets.
2. Facilities & Amenities:
The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay.
3. Breakfast:
The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables.
4. Service:
The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze.
5. Location:
The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city.
The Drawbacks:
1. Room Size:
While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped.
2. Limited Dining Options:
