"The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The on-site restaurant is truly a hidden gem—both the food and drinks were outstanding. The only issue I encountered was with the air conditioning in the room. It was quite noisy, so I turned it off before bed to get a better night’s sleep. However, I woke up early in the morning to find it had turned itself back on and the room temperature had dropped to 18°C which was uncomfortably cold. I mentioned this to the front desk during check-out and the staff member sincerely apologized and assured me they would look into it. I appreciated the way the situation was handled. And the other thing is the room is a bit overpriced."

"The environment is good, facing the lake and the scenery is good. First-class walk after breakfast or dinner. Other parts are quite satisfactory. There is a parking lot, which is more convenient. Good value for money."

"I almost didn't book here because it appears to be a 1950s motel with fresh paint. That would have been a huge mistake. The location is perfect for wandering downtown and the parks by the lake. The room was bright, colorful, and one of the cleanest ever. I couldn't stop being amazed by the updates and upgrades, and all the bright colors kept me smiling. The color matched vw bus in the lot defines the character. I will choose Hotel Zed again over any of the boring up-scale or traditional places to stay in Kelowna. It's different, fun, and a great place."

"This is located in the heart of Kelowna. It is just a few minutes drive to the lakeside area. It seems that the hotel has recently been renovated. The room is clean with nice decor. Hotel does not come with breakfast, but there is a dinner within the hotel property. Residents could enjoy 10% off from the restaurant."

"The room is large, the soundproofing is average, and the gym has a sense of age. The location is great, right next to the main road, with McDonald's next to it and a shopping mall opposite."

"I stayed at Recreation Inn during my recent trip to Kelowna, and overall, it was a decent experience for the price. The standout for me was the Saturday breakfast – simple but on point. It was served buffet-style with a good mix of egg muffins, fruit, bread, and juice. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making for a nice start to the day. The room itself was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed, but I have to admit, the condition of the room felt quite dated. The furniture and decor could really use an upgrade, and there was an unpleasant musty odor in the room that lingered throughout my stay, which definitely affected my comfort. The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is convenient, close to some restaurants and not far from the lake, which was a bonus. If you’re looking for a basic place to crash for a night or two and don’t mind a bit of an older vibe, it could work. But if you’re sensitive to smell or looking for something modern and more refreshed, this might not be the best fit."

"Friendly, and helpful staff.The location is very good. The Real Canadian Superstore is very close by, and a Costco is right behind Superstore.. Orchard Park Mall is across the street. The rooms were very clean. The beds, well I slept like a baby on them all night. Absolutely love the beds. The showerhead in.the room we were in was very modern and I loved it. The breakfast was pretty good. You can toast your bread/waffle fancy toaster you would see in Tim Hortons or A&W.Tgey have hard boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, granola bars, yogurt, tea, coffee, apple juice, orange juice and cranberry juice. Also they have a pool and hot tub very close to the reception desk to check in or out. Only a few parking spots in front, a few on the side and the rest of the parking is located in the back. If you park on the side of White Spot parking you will get towed or ticketed.The is a cement dividers and if it snows you may not see them as they are small. Please be aware and be careful. "The hotel has been in existence for a hundred years. The current building is rebuilt after the fire. There is a cultural and historic place... The hotel is located in a commercial street, very lively, bars, restaurants, cafes abound, just a stone's throw from the lake (always Can't remember the name of the lake, it is said that there is a dragon in the lake.)...The room is quite big, quite clean, facing the street but not noisy (the first photo was taken on the balcony of the room), the quality of Canadian citizens can be seen... "The address is not easy to find, because it is connected to the Delta Hotel, but you have to come in from another road. The parking lot is a special parking building next to it.
