They have free coffee 24/7, and the breakfast voucher can be used from 7am-4pm, that was a great surprise. I felt they are trying hard to their best. We forgot to bring the badminton racket and they kept it for us to return to us. I really thought they will throw away what is left in the room. Really appreciate it."

"The hotel has been in existence for a hundred years. The current building is rebuilt after the fire. There is a cultural and historic place... The hotel is located in a commercial street, very lively, bars, restaurants, cafes abound, just a stone's throw from the lake (always Can't remember the name of the lake, it is said that there is a dragon in the lake.)...The room is quite big, quite clean, facing the street but not noisy (the first photo was taken on the balcony of the room), the quality of Canadian citizens can be seen... "I stayed at Recreation Inn during my recent trip to Kelowna, and overall, it was a decent experience for the price. The standout for me was the Saturday breakfast – simple but on point. It was served buffet-style with a good mix of egg muffins, fruit, bread, and juice. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making for a nice start to the day. The room itself was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed, but I have to admit, the condition of the room felt quite dated. The furniture and decor could really use an upgrade, and there was an unpleasant musty odor in the room that lingered throughout my stay, which definitely affected my comfort. The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is convenient, close to some restaurants and not far from the lake, which was a bonus. If you’re looking for a basic place to crash for a night or two and don’t mind a bit of an older vibe, it could work. But if you’re sensitive to smell or looking for something modern and more refreshed, this might not be the best fit."

It truly lives up to its reputation as 'Vancouver's backyard,' surrounded by captivating mountain and water views. However, the bed was a bit too soft, and breakfast was quite basic."
