Facilities: The small tea room was a nice touch, and there was even a wooden foot bath. The courtyard downstairs has a lovely Chinese aesthetic. Service: The service was great, and the luggage delivery service to the airport was incredibly convenient. The complimentary Chinese-style double afternoon tea was fantastic!"

"The hotel isn't new, but it's generally fine and has a smart toilet. The concierges at the entrance are excellent, very proactive with luggage, especially when we checked out and stored our bags. When we came back and took a taxi past the hotel, we asked a concierge to bring our luggage out beforehand to wait at the entrance, and when the car passed, the bags were seamlessly loaded. It was a fantastic experience! The front desk, however, wasn't great. I specifically requested a non-smoking room when booking, but the room assigned still smelled of smoke. It wasted half an hour to change rooms, and in the end, it was the concierge who had to clean up the front desk's mess, coming up to deliver the new room card. A big thanks to him! When we returned in the evening, we found the hotel had provided some complimentary snacks and fruit; although it was a small gesture, it was thoughtful. The lights outside the hotel are quite beautiful, probably from the Year of the Horse Chinese New Year. Overall, I'd recommend it!"

"The hotel itself is quite good. The location is excellent, right by Jinjiang Park, near Jiuyan Bridge, and Anshun Bridge is practically on its doorstep. It's also very close to the bar street, Lan Kwai Fong, and Taikoo Li. The overall service was good, and the rooms were decent. Most rooms have a small balcony with a view, and the facilities inside were complete, clean, and well-maintained. Although the breakfast was simple, it was balanced and offered enough variety. There were mainly two downsides. Firstly, it's very close to the bars, which made it quite noisy. The noise from Jiuyan Bridge quieted down around midnight, but Lan Kwai Fong downstairs kept going until three or four in the morning without stopping. Plus, being close to Taikoo Li meant luxury cars often sped by with roaring engines late at night. Aside from these objective factors, it seems the room's soundproofing wasn't ideal, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Secondly, during the National Day holiday, the balcony door in our room was left open by the cleaning staff after they tidied up. This let in a lot of mosquitoes, especially since the temperature in Chengdu isn't low at this time of year, which affected the quality of our rest."

"My stay at Mercure Chengdu Tai Koo Li Chunxi was a delightful surprise, especially when it came to the room's cleanliness. The room was thoroughly cleaned, the bedding was pristine and fluffy, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with every corner and crevice spotless and odor-free. The public hallways were also consistently clean and fresh. I particularly want to commend the front desk concierge. During check-in, they carefully inquired about my preferences and informed me about the room cleaning protocols. When I needed assistance during my stay, the concierge responded quickly and communicated patiently and politely. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Tai Koo Li and Chunxi Road. With such clean rooms and the concierge's attentive follow-up, I felt secure and comfortable throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chengdu."

It asks every day whether the room needs to be replenished with items and mineral water, which makes people feel warm. "The hotel lobby is very beautiful, the staff are amazing and will do everything they can to help you. Everything is very clean and the room itself was great. The only downside is the location. It’s technically quite central, but not really in the middle of everything, and the surrounding area isn’t particularly interesting. To get to the nicer places, you need to walk to the metro station. It’s a little too far to walk to most attractions. However, purely because of the room and the hotel itself, I would book this hotel again without hesitation, regardless of the location. I really enjoyed my stay. A special thank you to Xiao Wang, who was incredibly kind, helpful and always had a lovely smile. She made my stay even more pleasant and was always happy to help. "Really enjoyed our stay in the top floor suite with an amazing view overlooking Taikoo Li and the skyline. The location is perfect for a short visit, with Taikoo Li just outside, making it very easy to walk around. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, responding to our requests and questions instantly, they even helped us fill up the bathtub/pool while we were out so it was ready upon our return! Also loved the projector screen to watch tv. Many amenities like snacks, towels, robes, slippers were also provided. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely return!"

It feels like a mix between a hotel and a homestay. You have the convenience of modern hotel facilities, however the gardens and internal spaces are curated beautifully that makes you feel as though you’re not stuck in a concrete jungle, but rather tucked away in a zen oasis. Breakfast is simple but sufficient, and there is only one laundry so it may take some time if a lot of people are using it, but all in all it is a great place to stay when visiting Chengdu. "Honestly, I really wanted to leave a bad review! But I'm not someone who likes to give negative feedback! The bathtub was incredibly slippery, I almost fell and injured myself. Also, the mattress was clearly a cheap, unknown brand, with a huge dip in the middle, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. It felt like a purely Photoshopped room! And to top it off, no latex mattress or latex pillows, how perfunctory! Having to rely on staff to retrieve takeout food was quite inconvenient. The view outside the window was just so-so, and by midnight, there was no view at all, nothing like the rumored night view. If I hadn't arrived so late and been too lazy to change hotels, I definitely would have looked for another one. There was a noticeable indentation in the middle of the sofa and bed, which made lying down uncomfortable. I truly suggest the owner considers replacing the soft furnishings. The area for toiletries in the bathroom was also very slippery and felt incredibly cheap. The curtains didn't even block out the light! The service was passable, I guess, I just had to make do! In my opinion, this place is worth at most 300 [currency unit]."

My stay here far exceeded my expectations. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and elegant, with clean and fresh common areas and a simple yet grand decor that creates a wonderful atmosphere. The room facilities are very new, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the bathroom fixtures work smoothly with stable water pressure, and the room has good lighting and ventilation. The cleanliness is excellent, with no dust in the corners. The amenities are comprehensive and very convenient for daily use. The staff are gentle, polite, and responsive. The location is convenient for getting around, and the surrounding area is not noisy. Overall, the value for money is excellent. It's suitable for both short trips and quick business travel, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. I had no regrets, and I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I visit. I highly recommend it!

The hotel's location is fantastic; Wenshu Monastery is right outside the door if you turn left. We visited during a holiday, and there was no queue to enter the monastery from this side. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the environment is elegant – a quiet oasis in a bustling area. The bedding was so soft I fell asleep as soon as I lay down. Breakfast was plentiful, and the coffee brewed by the owner was delicious. The staff were warm and the service was attentive. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Chengdu.

I didn't have much of a detailed plan for my short trip to Chengdu this time; I randomly booked this hotel, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. It was raining lightly on the day I arrived, and I got a bit wet dragging my luggage. As soon as I stepped into the hotel lobby, I immediately felt a sense of warmth. The front desk staff noticed me and proactively offered tissues. The check-in process was relaxed and unhurried; they didn't just rush through the procedures and even kindly reminded me to be careful of slippery surfaces due to the rain. The first impression when I entered the room was how fresh and clean it was, with no stuffy odors. The layout was simple and comfortable. The bedding was neat and soft, and the lighting was gentle and not harsh. After a long journey, coming back to the room allowed me to completely relax. The bathroom was meticulously cleaned, with all the corners well-maintained. The water flow was smooth, and the overall bathroom experience was excellent. The hotel's soundproofing was good; it was very quiet at night, and I had a peaceful and solid night's sleep. At one point, when I went out, I accidentally left my umbrella near the elevator. I thought it would be difficult to get back, but I decided to contact the front desk just in case. The staff quickly helped me check the surveillance footage and successfully retrieved my item. This small incident particularly warmed my heart. Overall, my stay was very comfortable. The facilities were excellent, but what was most remarkable was the genuine service. It wasn't just a rigid formality but sincere and thoughtful care from the heart. It's suitable for both leisure travel and business trips. It was a very pleasant stay, and I will choose this hotel again next time I visit Chengdu.

Objectively speaking, the front desk service was excellent, and the hotel lobby and courtyard environment were also very good! However, there was a strange smell in the hallway, and an indescribable odor in the room itself. When I got into bed after washing up at night, the duvet and sheets felt damp and uncomfortable. There was also a persistent smell of urine, which wasn't coming directly from the duvet or sheets, but it lingered throughout the night. I tossed and turned and couldn't sleep well. In the morning, I woke up with many red bumps on my arms and legs. I've booked so many hotels on Ctrip, mostly prioritizing a good environment, and this is the only one that has given me such a bad experience. It's the only hotel that has made me feel this uncomfortable. I originally planned to give feedback to the front desk when checking out, but there was a family of foreign tourists complaining, so I just left without saying much. Anyway, the service itself was commendable!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The homestay had such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. There's a lift that takes you up to Level 2 where the homestay is located. While there isn't a lift within the homestay itself, it wasn't an issue at all because the owner was incredibly kind and even insisted on carrying our luggage all the way up to our room on the third floor. We truly appreciated such a thoughtful gesture! The hospitality and service were exceptional throughout our stay. For my Muslim friends, there's a delicious halal food stall located just outside the homestay. It was so good that we went back to buy takeaway for dinner later that night! The location is also convenient, with many tourist attractions nearby. We found taking a DiDi to be the easiest and most comfortable way to get around. Overall, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for a better host. Thank you for making our trip such a memorable one, we would definitely stay here again!

Cons: 1. The check-in process was truly unprofessional. They just said there were no rooms available and then left guests hanging, without even informing me about what was included in my booking package. I only found out about many services I hadn't used when I checked out. This is the first time I've encountered such unprofessional service. 2. The breakfast didn't have any rice dishes, not even simple fried rice, which is unfriendly for people who don't eat noodles or spicy food. Pros: The facilities and cleanliness are definitely excellent, and having a full set of Dyson products is a nice touch. Summary: If you have high expectations for service, I'd advise caution. The best service I received was from the welcoming dog. However, if you don't have high service expectations but prioritize good facilities, then this hotel is suitable.

Great location, convenient for getting around. Top-notch service and very new facilities. The Xiao Du voice control is a nice touch. The room was clean and cozy, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard. It was very quiet, and the water pressure was excellent. Plus, there's a mini-fridge. The restaurant is good, convenient, and has a beautiful view.

We stayed at the Celebrity City Hotel in Chengdu during the National Day holiday, and our family were extremely satisfied. This hotel is definitely a great pick — you can book it without hesitation! We arrived on an international flight and landed very early. We contacted the hotel in advance, and all the staff were warm and professional. Special thanks go to Ryan. He handled our check-in carefully and attentively, helped deliver our luggage to the room, and was incredibly thoughtful. He patiently told us how to purchase breakfast, shared plenty of practical travel tips and recommended sightseeing routes. We were truly touched and grateful for his help. The hotel enjoys an excellent location, with shopping malls and food streets nearby, making dining and getting around super convenient. We stayed on the 24th floor, where we could overlook the square and watch the spectacular flag-raising ceremony. The room was completely quiet with no outside noise. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the room layout was well-proportioned, and the water temperature and water pressure in the bathroom were comfortable. There is also a self-service laundry room, which is very handy for family trips. The hotel breakfast had a wide variety of food options, enjoyed by both adults and children. This stay greatly elevated the comfort level of our whole trip. Thank you to Celebrity City Hotel, and a special thank you to Ryan for his warm and thoughtful service. soo, okay. Check in took a looong time, had to fill out the form with the lady, and it took a while. She seems to have everything under control in the hostel and keeps the space quite clean, even disinfects the slippers after use. People do smoke in the corridor the rooms open to, sometimes sitting directly in front of your door. She gives you the tour of the whole place, shows you what’s what, all the while saying “please, wear this,” absolutely out of context haha. Rooms were nice, had aircon, no storage though and my biggest gripe - no locks. Cannot lock the room in any way, and anyone can walk in to the hostel from the street. I would have liked to know this when deciding on whether to stay here. Nothing suss happened during our stay but I’m not sure I can recommend staying here for this reason especially. Bathrooms also were a bit meh, a squat toilet-shower combo, one for girls, two for men and one mixed. Never had to wait to shower though. Other than that, location was good, Chengdu actually has a good bus system, 82 stops close to the hostel and can take you quite a few places in the center.

This hotel was an excellent choice for my trip. The internet speed was fast and reliable. The front desk service was attentive, and the bathroom amenities were comprehensive. There were plenty of restaurant options nearby, and the environment was clean and quiet. The value for money far exceeded other hotels in the same price range.
