Hongkong Mingdu Hostel

It’s a very authentic stay. Be prepared to climb up three storeys stairs (ground level, level one and level two) although there is lift service, it does not serve level 1 & 2. Suitable for backpacking , not for big luggages.

Location was perfect! Near by shopping area and good food places and night market was just 5 minutes for walk!

the hotel is located at an unbeatable location, where there are 2 MTR stations (Yau Ma Tei Station and Mongkok Station) linking to the hotel. The room size is not big but is good enough for 2 pax.

I thought not nice ..but no absolutely likely is very nearly at market, restaurants is very easy access to all ..and the staff is very nice 👍🙂 i like the place but no lift so be ready to cary Ur luggage 🧳🛅 but over all is 10/10 ..i'll be book again this hotel ❤️ cleanliness 9/10

There is no elevators or lift. Though on the 2nd floor, the staircase leading up is pretty bad. Hot and humid and stuffy on the way up or down. If you have heavy or any luggage or need to lug a few luggagea, better don't stay here as you will be exhausted bringing your luggage up and down. Rooms are very small in HK so this is no surprise even if you staying in any budget or even more costly hotels. It is also not very near to the mtr, need about 10 mins walk and the way out of the mtr on A2 exit doesn't have a lift or elevator either. If you are a light traveller then this is ok. The location and way up the hotel is on the side of Nathan road and it's an apartment building actually so don't be alarmed if you can't find it easily. I will not stay there ever in my life again for sure!!!!

The attendant was not there when we arrived at the hotel; even the receptionist of the condo where the hotel is located did not know that there’s a hotel there. We had a hard time locating it. Going to the hotel upstairs is dirty, and the odor from used cigarettes would greet you. We can't understand the attendant because she can't speak English; that communication was hard. The aircon seems not to be working, and the comfort room was too small, the same as with the main room.
