"A Truly Reliable Hotel My family and I have just returned from our fifth stay at the Regal Hotel Kowloon, and it consistently exceeds our expectations. It has firmly become our go-to home whenever we're in Hong Kong. First and foremost, the value for money is outstanding. In a city known for its compact spaces, the rooms at the Regal are surprisingly spacious and always well-appointed. You truly get more room to relax compared to other hotels in this category. What truly makes the Regal special, however, is its people. The staff are exemplary in their professionalism and courtesy. From the housekeeping team to the porters, everyone offers a warm and polite greeting. A special commendation must go to the Front Desk staff—they are efficient, incredibly helpful, and always have a solution-ready attitude that makes check-in and any queries a complete breeze. The location is another massive win. You are immersed in a vibrant local neighbourhood with a fantastic array of authentic Hong Kong restaurants right on your doorstep. And when you're ready for some retail therapy, the prime shopping districts are just a short and pleasant walk away, making it the perfect base to explore from."

"Facilities: All facilities were very convenient, making for a comfortable stay. The lobby desserts were delicious and affordable. Cleanliness: Excellent. Environment: Very good. Service: The front desk staff were excellent; they didn't require a deposit and spoke excellent Mandarin. I even forgot to bring cash, and the bellhop kindly paid for my taxi fare, which saved me from an awkward situation. I wasn't sure if the Executive Suite included Executive Lounge access, but since our other room did, the front desk kindly arranged for both rooms to have Executive Lounge access. After returning home, my mom accidentally took one of the room key cards with her. I hope it's not an issue."

"Had an excellent stay. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and even took my preferences into account during check-in. The hotel breakfast they recommended was also very good. The hotel boasts an excellent location, being very close to the MTR station, Harbour City, and Victoria Harbour. It's incredibly convenient as you can access all major shopping malls and attractions entirely via underground passages. The surrounding area is packed with trendy restaurants, making it a fantastic area to explore."

"It was my mother's birthday on our check-out day, and the hotel's customer service team surprised us with a cake the night before. This was incredibly thoughtful and touched us deeply! The cake itself was also delicious. Beyond the exceptional service, the hotel's facilities and overall ambiance were fantastic. Its location is excellent too, roughly a 500-meter walk to Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR station and within easy walking distance to Victoria Harbour. Highly recommended!"

"I don't usually leave reviews, but the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong truly deserves one. The hotel's convenient location is a given. We stayed here for three days, and the attentive service truly left a lasting impression. The front desk staff who handled our check-in were incredibly warm and welcoming. Upon seeing we had a child, they proactively offered a small gift and thoughtfully asked if we needed an extra bed. Every time we stepped out, the housekeeping staff greeted us with a smile, which always started our day on a positive note. The room was also impeccably tidy, with even our charging cables neatly coiled. Our child left an umbrella in the lobby, and a male staff member from lost and found patiently spent over ten minutes helping us look for it, for which I felt quite apologetic. The hotel breakfast was also excellent and plentiful, with high-quality ingredients. As we were leaving, our child said they definitely want to stay here again on our next trip to Hong Kong."

"Great location, Wan Chai station entrance is just a short walk across the street and there’s bus stop in front of hotel. To go to airport, you need to go to another bus stop which is also a short walk from the hotel and most importantly, mostly flat so no worries about walking with your large luggage on slope. Even though my room was located on low floor and right in front of the lift, it’s not noisy. Bed are comfortable but pillows are too flat/low, needed 2 pillows. Toiletries was not provided due to HK government policy to reduce carbon footprint and the staff does inform during the check in process so make sure to bring your own toothbrush toothpaste vanity kit shavers and shower cap. No bottle water provided but there are water dispenser on 19th floor for guests to fill your own water bottle. Mini fridge and kettle are provided. Generally pleasant stay with lots of good food nearby."

"The location of the hotel was excellent, with direct mall access to the mall and MTR. The rooms were fresh feeling and large bathrooms. Bed was soft and amazing. Mountain view with partial harbour view was OK, but not worth paying extra for. The check-in service was very manual and slow. Given this was the holiday period, but the process when engaged was very slow. We used the swimming pool which needs a refresh when compared to the Shangri-La next door. There are good gym and also dining options."

"It's a great room in a great location but it's unfortunate that the bathroom wasn't so clean and the air conditioning hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Overall, the staff are great and the room itself is big for the area.. I would consider to stay again but cleaning would be important"

"I had seen a few negative reviews about this place, so I was apprehensive at first, but was extremely happy with the establishment. Location was great, only a few minutes walk from the main train stations, rooms were tight, but very sufficient, good for Hong Kong, staff were very friendly and helpful, the bathroom facilities were also very good. If travelling back to Hong Kong, will definitely return here. The negative reviews I had seen were about size of the rooms, and noise from the city etc. Sure the rooms aren't as large as you would find in some suburban hotel in the USA, but for Hong Kong they were very sufficient. Air conditioning was very good, cranked up to coldest temperature and the highest fan setting felt like I was in a (lovely) blizzard compared to the heat and humidity outside. The noise levels were also very acceptable, city noise was no more than I would expect, and the noises from guests arriving late or getting up early was very minimal. The only really audible noise was from people in the hallways, but I have experienced this noise coming under the door from even super luxurious hotels, I normally dampen the sound by putting a towel against the door."
