"I recently stayed at Cordis Hotel Hong Kong, and I’m thrilled to share how wonderful my experience was, largely due to the exceptional service from Ernest and Benson at Reception. Their warm hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care made me feel so welcomed from the very start. Even though the hardware in the room wasn’t the newest, I encountered an issue with the TV screen mirroring. However, their quick response and attentiveness turned a minor inconvenience into a display of outstanding customer service. Within no time, the problem was addressed, and I felt truly valued as a guest. I’d also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the IT Department and Engineering team for their swift assistance—please ensure they receive my appreciation for their hard work behind the scenes. Ernest and Benson’s dedication, combined with the support of these teams, made my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend Cordis Hotel Hong Kong to anyone visiting the city; their commitment to guest satisfaction is unmatched. Thank you again for an incredible experience"

"Had a couple days stay at these apartments. A few thing that I may say for those looking to know wether it is worth it or not 1. Location - is great, a few minutes walk to the Tsim Sha Tsui metro stations, ferry, 24 hour 7-eleven etc. 2. Room with a balcony is a must have - you’re basically paying for you personal spot with a harbor view which is fantastic 3. Rooms have everything you need and are spacious. We had a washing and drying machine, fridge, stove. Nothing to add here 4. Rooms filling is great 5. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly from reception to the pool and restaurant. 5* service here 6. The connecting floor and restaurant area are just stunning. Feels like you’re walking inside someone luxury apartment - big chess for children, other table games, view spots to chill I front of the great view, various art installations. It’s a great place to be What I can not understand is how in that wonderful place it can be such a mediocre kitchen. I’m not particularly picky on the food, conbini foods and Don Quijote fried chicken are fine for me, but that was something unexpected. I would highly suggest changing the kitchen to something more appropriate to the overall level of the apartment. Hong Kong has a billion fantastic kitchen options but that was around European 3* old hotel experience, unfortunately. It just didn’t taste anyhow, nothing. The buns were not fresh, the salad was not fresh, eggs were not done correctly, though deserts were fine. Anyway, hope this helps somebody"

Two MacDonnell Road's 213 rooms and suites range from 336 to 750 sq ft, with spacious and elegant floor plans that afford plenty of natural light, as well as our signature home-from-home comforts and hotel-style service. Each living space is decorated in warm, soothing earth tones, with simple but cosy furnishings and amenities that include free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a fully equipped kitchenette, and an in-room electronic safe. In addition, all serviced apartment-style accommodations feature kitchenette, stylish bay windows with a cushioned window-seat and a breathtaking view of Hong Kong's famous skyline.

"The hotel positions itself as a 4-star establishment, but it falls short of that mark. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Location: The location is excellent, if you don't mind a steep uphill walk. However, the entire island is built on different levels, which isn't a negative but rather a positive – a daily workout! There's a bus stop right by the hotel, making it easy to reach the metro instead of walking up and down, straining your leg muscles. Next door is a botanical and zoological garden where you can take a stroll. By the way, entry is free. A 10-minute walk down the hill leads to the cable car ”tram” stop for a trip to Victoria Peak. Check-in: Check-in was fast, but a USD 300 deposit is required, which isn't mentioned on either the trip.com website or the hotel's website. If you need an adapter for your electronic devices, ask for one right away – the receptionist won't offer it. Room: The room is relatively clean, though I did find some hair in the kitchen and on the bedding. For Hong Kong, the room is spacious, but there's nowhere to store a suitcase. You can set the temperature on the air conditioner, but it doesn't work. It only blows cold air, making the room humid. Kitchen: The kitchen is minimally equipped, but it's sufficient. However, upon check-in, they warn you that the stove can only be used for reheating food, not cooking, as the fire alarm system is very sensitive and might activate the siren due to hot steam. You must turn on the exhaust fan to full power and the air conditioner to avoid triggering the alarm. Why bother having a kitchen at all? Bathroom: The same situation as with the kitchen – you need to close the door and turn on the air conditioner at full power while showering to avoid the fire alarm being triggered by steam from the bathroom. The shower hose started leaking on the second day of my stay. It was replaced with a new one, which also leaked. When the technician replaced the hose, did he check if the equipment was working properly? I doubt it. Breakfast: Breakfast is only served from a menu, which is quite limited. It's delicious, but not diverse. Is this the service you'd expect from a 4-star hotel? The breakfast organization is chaotic – staff running around and clanging dishes. Two slow coffee machines and one toaster keep guests waiting in line. By the way, there are plastic mugs for tea and coffee. The only fruit options are two types of apples – red and green. Service: The service is polite, but I'd say it's ”on demand.” You need to ask for shampoo, shower gel, and dishwashing liquid to be refilled. The housekeeping, for some reason, doesn't notice the need to replenish hygiene products in the bathroom and kitchen. Environmentalism: As in all of Hong Kong, they no longer provide water in plastic bottles. That's good, but come up with an alternative so guests don't have to go to the store for water. In my opinion, this environmental concern is simply an opportunity to reduce service costs while maintaining high accommodation prices. Speaking of breakfast again, the jam and butter are provided in small plastic containers, just like on airplanes. Is this really about caring for the environment? Conclusion: Overall, it's a good choice if you're not bothered by the minor service inconsistencies and if you don't have high expectations for a 4-star hotel. If you're visiting Hong Kong, I'd recommend Two MacDonell Road."

High-speed Internet access is also available in the apartments. The property also houses a business center and has a 24-hour front desk.

"Although a little dated, this service apartment is located in an excellent location along Ashley Road. You won't be able to beat its convenience and cleanliness at its price. You're right in between the MTR or the Star Ferry - so the choice is yours. There are a lot of eateries in the area so you won't go hungry. I prefer to bring back take away and get to eat comfortably in the apartment where you may reheat your food and refrigerate what you need to. The staff are efficient and quick to respond."

"A good location which easy to be assessed to mid to high range of eateries & markets/supermarkets. Also feels good to be surrounded by historical buildings like the “Blue House”. The nearest bus stop can bring travellers to Admiralty, Central Star Ferry or return from The Peak & Stanley Market. Pls take notes the Airport Bus only available in the early mornings😅 Apt provides many useful equipment such as water filter machine, toaster, pots & pans washing machine with dryer functions, flower vase etc. Love 😍 the free-flow coffee throughout the day & breakfast snacks & fruits (very thoughtful). Front desk staff are friendly & always ready to provide assistance👍🏼👍🏼 Only setback is the deep slope in front of the apt. But I got better stamina after staying there for 12 days 😁"

"I had a room with a good size, good aircon and electric curtains, open view of the Apleichau island , very friendly service ( staff refused any tipping for bringing luggage to the room) and helped me retain my Taobao and SF Express delivered goods. The best is a sun filled and spacious lounge on 7/F with simple cooking facilities and several tables and chairs . I asked my friends to come after a sumptuous seafood dinner on the island and cut a birthday cake in the Lounge. Everyone was so happy. I also managed to check out one hour later on my departure day to have a quick shower and shampoo. Staff then helped me called a taxi. Super happy stay and cannot recommend more !"
