We had a very nice 4 day stay at this hotel, where the floor staff, Zheng Jing郑静，and Ye Guangzhu叶光珠, provided consistently attentive service. Whenever we requested additional water bottles or fresh towels, they were delivered to my room almost immediately. The hotel is one of the most well known 5 Star hotels in Hangzhou, though older, offers a modern and stylish ambiance. The food delivery robots always delighted the children. This hotel is extraordinary in terms of cost effectiveness. The location is also excellent.

Check in was a breeze and the reception staff are helpful and speak some English. I was able to extend my stay from two to three nights no problem. The room was bright, clean and spacious with a nice hot shower and robes, slippers ad toiletries all provided. The hotel is easy to find and is in a great location. Very close to Wulin Square Metro and a gentle 30 minute walk to the West Lake. I didn't take the breakfast option but there's a cafe with espresso machine that serves OK coffee. Theonly thing I missed was a safety deposit box in the room but apart from that, the Pagoda was great and I'd happily stay there again.

I traveled in Hangzhou for 3 days and 2 nights and chose to stay at Sofitel Hangzho West Lake because the location of the hotel is near West Lake. The room is clean and spacious, with complete equipment. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is very delicious. I also received a set of mooncakes as a gift from booking this time. I am very impressed. In the future, if I have a chance to travel to Hangzhou, I will come back to stay here again.

This is a perfect location for travelers especially for people who are the first time visiting Hangzhou , it is just 6-8 mins walking distance to West Lake, Kerry Center is just next door, very convivence for shopping, have a coffee, dinner etc. It's my second stay, i believe this Shangri-la is the best in terms of hotel facilities, location among the nearby luxury hotel such as Grand H. I really don't want to mention this hotel to anyone, would like to keep it it for myself only 🤭 The hotel everything is fantastic n the staff is wonderful. The west lake just Infront of us, the restaurant nearby are many many. 👍👍👍👍👍 Don't ask, stay and you shall love it.

Classic, very nostalgic. we had very warm stay there. Old school still ageless and priceless. Location is unbearable, walk out… there u go, the beautiful lake, 西湖. Above all, the breakfast buffet was simply wonderful. We were craving for western breakfast after so many local dishes. We enjoyed it so much, had it in al fresco way, with breezy chilly open air. Soft sun shining down on us and the foods. Still vivid the memory even after so long coming home. The only suggestion is to improve the afternoon tea. Must get to the same par with the breakfast.

This is my second stay at the hotel. The service is really great. The front desk service is very proactive and Xiao Gan is great. The room has a high floor and complete facilities. You can see the river view from the room. The room is clean and tidy. Very good. I am very satisfied with my overall stay. Breakfast is on the 40th floor. There are many varieties. It combines Chinese and Western styles. The hotel provides free parking. It is really good. I will come to this hotel again next time and look forward to my next stay~

Traveling with kids, good service, very clean, super environment, except the furniture is a little old, everything else is perfect, there is a scenic spot where Chairman Mao first wrote the May Fourth Constitution in the courtyard, free to visit, opposite the hotel is the West Lake, the street of the hotel is full of small historical attractions, close to Hangzhou University and Lingyin Temple, great, next time I come to Hangzhou, I will choose this place
