GGuest UserHotel Manman Anman Huajian Hotel was a pleasant surprise! First, let me commend the decor – the design is absolutely beautiful, elegant, and sophisticated. The warm lights in the hallway cast a soft glow, and the wooden furniture exudes a gentle warmth. I really loved it! 💕 The best part, however, is the location. The front desk mentioned that a night market is opening nearby, which is perfect for those who don't want to venture far. The service also deserves special praise; the manager is truly exceptional, the best I've ever encountered. When we checked out, we even received a parting gift. The coffee and tea in the room were delicious, and the shampoo and shower gel had a luxurious scent. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to my friends next time!

A great location for a five-diamond hotel 😊 -----Definitely a great choice, given it's a Ctrip 5-diamond hotel. -----Four Points by Sheraton Kunming, City Center 🌈 👍1. Location. It's truly in the absolute center of Kunming. Downstairs is a pedestrian street, and the Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Archway is right next door (within a 5-minute walk). It's a paradise for food and snacks, with several local internet-famous spots (like roasted pancake, braised dishes, and Qiaoxiangyuan Rice Noodles). ❤️2. Service. Their service, from the front desk to housekeeping, is excellent. We booked different room types this time, and they specially upgraded our rooms to ensure we were all on the same floor. Thank you! ☕3. Breakfast. The hotel's breakfast offers a good variety, generally meeting our needs. There's still room for improvement. 👏4. On the third morning, some of our family members had to catch a train, and the hotel specially packed breakfast for us and left it at the front desk. Five-star service! 🙏5. We left some old clothes in the room that we didn't want, and the hotel specifically came to confirm whether we had forgotten them or if we intended to discard them. Very conscientious and responsible! 👏 👌6. The lobby is a bit small. The guest rooms seem to be on floors 23-28, offering fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding area. Truly excellent. 🤝Suggestion: The garment steamer provided releases steam very quickly once turned on, which could easily cause burns. I've already shared this feedback with the hotel. Summary: The price is a bit high during peak season, but it's a worthwhile choice during off-peak season. If I had to give a score, I'd give it a 90.

DDiana AldereiWe recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and had quite a mixed experience – some parts were truly lovely, while others left us a bit disappointed. First of all, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious. The natural hot spring water was one of the highlights of our stay — such a relaxing and unique experience. The surrounding territory is also well-maintained and very peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. However, it’s important to note that the location is quite remote — it took us around an hour to get to places where we could eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is understandable considering the mountain setting and access to hot springs. The afternoon tea was decent, and although lunch wasn’t included in our stay, we tried the local mixian noodles and they were absolutely delicious! Must try! Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, especially for guests like us who don’t eat pork or pork oil - there were very few options. A few maintenance and cleanliness issues also affected our stay. The outdoor pool was not super clean, some insects were swimming there. While we really loved the hot spring bathtub in the villa, the facilities could use a bit more upkeep. The toilet setup was quite basic — a minimum upgrade like a bidet spray or shower toilet would make a big difference, especially for international or Muslim guests. A more distressing part of our stay was that we found dead insects under the blanket in our bed after returning to our room one evening 🥲 I do appreciate the staff’s polite and kind response – they offered tea and explained it may have fallen from the ceiling – but for someone with a strong phobia of insects, this made it difficult to sleep and really affected my comfort. I do believe this is something that should be taken more seriously, especially in a hotel of this level. Despite these issues, the staff was very polite, cute and extremely helpful & friendly, and I can see the potential for a truly magical experience here with just a few improvements. I really wanted to love everything — and part of me did — but I was also happy to go back home, just to feel more comfortable and relaxed.

During my holiday travels, I passed through Kunming and was deciding between a hotel in a scenic area and the Grand Park Hotel. Considering the potential noise in the scenic area, I chose the latter, and I'm so glad I made that smart decision. The front desk staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful. We had a lot of luggage, and we were fortunate enough to get an upgrade to a corner suite, which completely alleviated our concerns about space. Both the public areas and the rooms are decorated in a simple yet elegant and stylish manner. The materials used are solid, and the maintenance is impeccable, so it doesn't feel old at all. It truly lives up to its five-star rating. The room offered expansive views, excellent soundproofing, and was spotlessly clean. The bedding was comfortable and soft against the skin, and the hot water supply was quick and abundant. Coming back after a day of sightseeing and enjoying a relaxing bath in the tub was just perfect. The location is right next to a subway station, with a direct one-stop ride to the high-speed rail. To the north, it's just one transfer to the Wuyi Road scenic area and commercial district, and to the east, one transfer to the airport. Taxis are also very convenient. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive. My trip was rushed this time, so I didn't have a chance to experience the pool or other amenities. If I get the opportunity to visit Kunming again, I will definitely choose Grand Park Hotel!

GGuest UserVisited Kunming with the kids during the May Day holiday and chose the Shangri-La Jen Hotel, which has a great location. The room was a bit small, but perfectly adequate. The pool and gym facilities were quite good. Remy, Sally, and Grace at the front desk all provided excellent service. The breakfast was delicious, and the Chinese restaurant was also very good. Even though the weather in Kunming was a bit chilly this time, we definitely felt the hotel's warm service!

XXiaotongjoziAn older hotel, a bit outdated in terms of decor, but on the plus side, you don't have to worry about any renovation smells. Back in its day, the hotel quality was definitely top-notch. The location is excellent, right in a prime area. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. What really stood out was the fantastic service. Gin was very patient and arranged the room according to my requests, and even gave me recommendations for the surrounding area. Highly recommended!
