Jiuzhaigou Hotels with Gym

An absolutely secluded retreat: True to its name, Jiushan is a top choice for escaping the world. When they picked me up to go up the mountain, we turned off the national road onto a very small and narrow path. The owner explained that he had to get permission from every villager along the way to build it, and it immediately felt very hidden and mysterious, yet also strangely welcoming. While not completely surrounded by the nine sacred mountains of Jiuzhaigou, the guesthouse lobby and rooms offer an uninterrupted view of continuous mountain ranges right in front. The scenery changes rapidly with the weather, and simply sitting, lying, or standing and daydreaming, you feel healed by the view. It really is worth staying on the mountain; the scenery is a natural gift that hotels downhill just can't compare to. When I contacted them in advance, they mentioned upgrading me to a room with floor-to-ceiling windows. It was raining when I arrived, and I ended up in a room called 'Rain' – everything felt perfectly serendipitous. The owner told me that the misty mountain view I saw that day was even rarer than the 'golden mountains in the sun.' I went downstairs and sat under a tent for a while, quietly listening to the rain and bird songs, taking deep breaths of fresh air – it felt like a full body cleanse. Sure enough, the next day, after clear skies, the scenery was completely different, offering an experience of peaceful reading in the sunlight. On the first evening, I only intended to heat up some beef baked buns I'd bought downhill, but I was drawn to the bonfire that had been set up and ended up sitting there for ages. I didn't have my phone, just watched the crackling fire, zoned out, chatted, and even cadged a few beers. After checking in, I completely forgot about my plans to go down the mountain to other scenic spots. I've often thought that for city dwellers, travel is a process of returning to oneself. We're bombarded with enough information usually, so being able to be alone in an undisturbed place, even just to daydream, is the best possible experience.

The hotel's ambiance is fantastic. We were given a room with an amazing view upon check-in, and thanks to the front desk's warm hospitality and the beautiful window scenery, we extended our stay for two extra nights (we originally planned to stay closer to the scenic area for convenience). This place is very close to Zhongcha Village, making for a relaxing stroll with a real holiday feel. We had all our dinners at Huasheng Meidi, which was very convenient and saved us from worrying about finding food.

This hotel is super nice, with an excellent location right at the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Valley, about a 10-minute walk from the ticket office. I have to commend the 'E-personality' lady at the front desk – she was incredibly enthusiastic! Every day, she generously gave us fresh yak yogurt (I checked, and they were all freshly made) and even gave us discount coupons for the hotel restaurant. The restaurant is also great; the yak hotpot was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The room has 24-hour diffused oxygen supply, so there's no need to worry about altitude sickness; I slept very comfortably. Plus, the smart home system throughout the room was fantastic, the facilities are new, and the environment is very clean.

This time in Jiuzhaigou, I booked this B&B with a private hot spring in Zhangza Town, and the experience was fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, with a cozy and comfortable off-white color scheme. The outdoor private hot spring pool was the highlight – soaking in the warm water under the stars at night created an incredibly atmospheric and photogenic scene. All the fatigue from a day of travel instantly melted away. The location is right at the entrance of the scenic area, making it very convenient to get there, and they offer free shuttle service. The breakfast was also delicious, with freshly cooked rice noodles and steamed dim sum, perfect for a hearty start to the day.

My overall stay was a mixed bag. While some staff members provided commendable service, there were serious privacy violations and significant safety and hygiene issues. I'd like to specifically commend Kari, Vincent, Emily, and Sophie. They were patient, responsive, and provided professional and attentive service, which greatly enhanced our trip. A special shout-out to Vincent; despite being a manager, he drove us around in the sightseeing buggy and even took us to a different location for a taxi, ensuring we got there comfortably. My service rating is solely for these staff members. However, some unacceptable problems arose: The breakfast hygiene was concerning; we found hair in the food. For a high-end hotel, such hygiene issues are inexcusable and raise serious food safety concerns. The privacy and security in the guest room were severely compromised. While someone was still in the room, a staff member knocked only once before immediately pushing the door open and looking directly towards the closet area. This was a grave infringement on guest privacy and a serious breach of security. When paying for a hotel room, guests are entitled to basic privacy. This incident was so severe it warranted calling the police. I felt a complete lack of security throughout my entire stay. The hotel's hardware and views are good, but the room management processes, breakfast hygiene, and staff entry protocols urgently need a complete overhaul. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who prioritize privacy and hygiene. I hope the hotel takes this incident seriously, strengthens all-staff training, and prevents other guests from experiencing similar situations.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with very comfortable bedding and a large sofa. The whole room featured voice-controlled smart features and a smart TV for watching movies. The bathroom was very clean, with a smart toilet and a separate wet and dry area. The shower water pressure was excellent. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful. They provided toiletries and breakfast for my child and even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. Upon check-in, we received complimentary bottled water. Every evening, there was a free supper of delicious mini wontons. Breakfast was very generous, including local specialties like butter tea and sweet, plum-sized local prunes. The hotel is about 4 kilometers from Jiuzhaigou. There's a free shuttle service that takes you to Jiuzhaigou in the morning and picks you up in the evening. This hotel offers excellent value for money. From Jiuzhaigou-Huanglong High-Speed Rail Station, you can take a tourist bus for about 2 hours and get off at the Jiuzhai stop. The hotel is about a 500-meter walk straight ahead. For the return journey, you can catch the bus at the same stop, just across the road.

Stayed here during the Chinese New Year, which is the off-season for Jiuzhaigou, but the rooms were still quite popular. The room itself was very unique. The location is excellent, less than a 10-minute walk to the National Grand Hotel parking lot and about 15 minutes to the scenic area's main entrance, which is super convenient. Breakfast was good, and they even provided complimentary welcome fruit. We booked a twin room for our family of three, and the front desk staff thoughtfully gave us an extra breakfast, which we really appreciated.

The hotel facilities are new, clean, and relatively quiet. However, the service was utterly baffling. We booked two rooms for two adults and two children, each with two breakfasts, for a total of four. But a hotel staff member added me on WeChat, offering to send us two free children's breakfasts and asking us not to tell anyone... We already had four breakfasts, so why would we need them to send more? They clearly hadn't even bothered to understand the basic guest situation before trying to claim credit. This was a minor issue, so I didn't dwell on it. During check-in, the front desk couldn't find the information for our second room. It took them ages to sort it out and check us in. At that time, each room was given a card, which seemed to be for museum tickets or something similar. We didn't use them, and when we checked out the next day, I just handed them back to the front desk along with the room keys. Then, thinking that perhaps my family might want to go, I asked for the two cards back. The front desk reluctantly returned one. I explained that there were two, but the front desk staff told me they could only give one. I was genuinely speechless. I reiterated that we had two rooms. Then, another woman at the front desk started arguing with me, saying that our booking didn't include them, and so on. If I hadn't been in such a hurry to leave, I would have had a proper debate with them at the front desk and made them open their eyes and check whether my Ctrip booking clearly stated that these tickets were included. In the end, I left seething with anger and didn't bother visiting any museum. What dreadful service, I will never come back.

Fantastic experience! The service was warm and welcoming, and the room was spotless and well-maintained. I'm very satisfied! 👍 The air conditioning was powerful, and the room itself was very spacious, as you can see from the pictures. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Jiuzhaigou. I'm so pleased! 👍 I'll definitely bring my family here to stay next time.

This hotel is great, and Gesang provided excellent service. She promptly informed us about driving directions and the hotel's location, which was very helpful for those traveling by car. Parking was also convenient. The room was very clean and had a distinct ******* style. The hotel even offers a shuttle service directly to the scenic area entrance, which is super convenient!
