"I Love this hotel. The receptionist Julie really made our trip very special. She found d out immediately were celebrating and made everything super special for us. She is an asset to the business for sure!
Room was clean enough and tidy. But what a view!
Staff in the red sky bar were a little lethargic and nowhere near as attentive."
"Friendly reception at the counters (both front and level 7) except the lad manning what I think is the auto check in counters. Cheer up. Clean room. More varieties of food compared to Yotel Edinburgh. No kettle, coffee (tea) in the room unfortunately."
"Our trip to the Z hotel was very much a picture of great service, we were checked in patiently and promptly. Upon being in the room, we eventually found a maintenance issue, which couldn’t be fixed right away. In response, the staff changed our room, and offered us a choice of complimentary food or drink as an apology.
Overall they were very kind and offered a friendly face every time we were at the desk, and made sure we had everything we needed.
The rooms are small, admittedly, but that is by design and is shown when booking, the amenities are very good, and are definitely worth the price. The Z also offers a loyalty programme that is very much worth the time to look into."

"Overall experience of Maldron hotel was very positive; it is situated in the centre of the city and a few minutes walk from the bus station.
Pro's
- Rooms were clean and tidy
- Quite spacious
- Very convenient; just a few minute walk from the city centre (just cross the road)
- Front desk staff were very helpful and friendlly
- Very comfortable beds
Con's
- Stay for 3 nights, and room was only cleaned on the day we were leaving."
"I like the service very much in a purely British hotel. I have to check out at 11 o'clock because the flight is still early. I negotiated with the hotel for a late checkout. The hotel originally said that it would charge 15 pounds for every hour of delay. Later, the hotel paid the delay fee. It’s worth recommending if you don’t need it."
"Excellent welcome and service from staff as usual. However the Glasgow CitizenM feels in need of an overhaul compared to more recent ones I’ve stayed in. Water squirted out of the shower attachment,a bit of the shower kept following off (not serious but irritating) and the desk looked scruffy. Location is great as it’s near bus/train stations, the underground and lots of great pubs and restaurants"
"The location is great. Just a min or less walk from Glasgow Queens Street Station and the bunchhan Street Subway. Also quite near to the bus stop where we took the airport Express to the airport.
A basic and clean room with a complimentary mini bar. And is near to the shopping area."
"This is a motel in Glasgow, England. The guest rooms are duplex structures, divided into upper and lower floors. The bathroom is downstairs and the guest rooms are upstairs. Parking is free in the parking lot. Overall it's okay."

Outstanding
GGeorge96Hotel Indigo Glasgow is a fantastic, centrally located hotel. Less than 5 minutes walk from Glasgow central station, Hotel Indigo has clean, modern and well equipped rooms featuring; tea and coffee making facilities, a minibar and iron with ironing board. The king-size bed was very comfortable and the temperature of the room was easily adjusted with the in-room thermostat. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

AAdventures.with.KaiThis trip was to visit family for Christmas. I knew I’d need an escape so booking a hotel was WISE. Originally booked for 3 days, my flight got cancelled and then rebooked for an earlier arrival time so I had to book an extra day earlier. Thankfully, They had availability. At check-in, The front desk was incredibly nice and polite. The breakfast was worth paying for. I ended up extending my stay because I enjoyed the Location, convenience and that it was a studio with a cooktop.
The last 2 days of my stay were not as enjoyable as the upstairs or next door neighbours were very loud. It wasn’t worth complying to the front desk about as I just used earplugs.
The beds are hard, not quite easy Asia hard but close with that, I’d stay again the location with brekky and having a cook top. Worth it.

AAR RoseLoved this hotel. Was staying for one night for a gig at the OVO Hydro Glasgow and this was perfect for close proximity to the concert venue. The rooms are small and modern and just perfect for a stopover for travellers for the night.
The beds are comfy and the pillows are perfect. The bathrooms are small and clean.
A welcome drink is also offered on arrival but I didn’t drink it as it wasn’t to my taste. I didn’t eat breakfast here as it was too early for me (it is served between 8am to 10am midweek). A bonus of this hotel is checkout is 12 noon (most other hotels are 11am and that extra hour in bed is amazing.
I would definitely stay here again.
The prices were higher than average but still better than other hotels everywhere else for this date, as there was something on at the OVO Hydro
Next day we had a walk to nearby kelvingrove museum (walking distance from
The hotel). Lots of lively little coffee shops, restaurants and pubs along the way.
MMatthewGreat location near museums, good restaurants and other amenities. Lovely breakfast. We enjoyed the convenience of having parking but would prefer that the parking be included in the reservation rather than at an extra charge.

JJJ2025For the price I paid was well worth it, great hotel. Never had food or drink as prices looked pricey. Never used other facilities in the hotel due to there closing times and the time I arrived unfortunately. Only issue was the original room I was given had to go to reception twice as key card wasn’t working but the eventually sorted it by giving me another room. (You would think they would be aware if one of there room doors ain’t working prior to guest arrival). Apart from that had a great stay and would recommend.

AAR RoseThis is a new Ibis Styles hotel in central Glasgow. It is newly opened and I will definitely stay here again. The rooms are all music themed (Ie the carpet has pics of the barrowlands market, it’s lovely and there are band names written all over the bathroom wall).
The hotel is very modern (neon signs at reception and bar.
The staff were so lovely.
The breakfast is buffet style but really fresh and lovely ingredients. 10/10 here. A plus factor is, it is served until 11am at weekends
A bonus is it has a 12 o clock check out policy (a massive plus for me as I like a sleep in)

GGuest UserGood location, clean and comfortable. I accidentally booked a twin with no window and immediately noticed once I had paid. I immediately phoned and a really lovely man on the phone switched us to a double room ( same price online ) , he offered a free upgrade to double with window. Upon checking in we were told we had been downgraded to a double with no window.
A heater was offered as rooms were cold. Windowless room wasn't too bad, just a little cramped. But for the price and location we still thought it was great value for money.

BBee HoonWe stayed during Christmas season and there was a Xmas market next door. The hotel is spacious and all the necessary facilities, including kitchen and washing machine are provided.

GGuest UserThe room was clean but the decor very basic and outdated. Really small TV. Reception staff really nice and friendly. In regards to location it’s 15 min walk from central station but could be a trek walking back as uphill. Slept well but couldn’t control the heating so room was too warm. Windows can’t be opened too in our room. The biggest disappointment was no evening meal so don’t count on it. Haven’t check the breakfast as when asked at reception I have been told to check breakfast in the morning first and then come and pay if I like what I see so decided not to try it as had to leave very early the next day. Overall hotel for a price of odd £34 or so wasn’t bad but you have to be aware of not counting for a meal there.

SSteveI have to say that all the staff I met were fantastic. The people at reception and in the restaurant were excellent. The cleaning staff also showed perfect honesty by handing in things that I had left behind in the room. However, the fabric of the building is tired. The shower (over the bath) was not consistent, the channel changer was faulty. The bar/restaurant area had no vibrance. Also cash was not accepted. Very reasonable price
