"Raofoge Hotel is right next to the Huangwan Visitor Center of Mount Emei. It is very convenient to take the scenic bus to Mount Emei. It is just a few steps away!
The hotel breakfast is very good. I took the early morning scenic bus to the mountain. At 6:30, the breakfast chef immediately packed breakfast for me to take away. Thumbs up! The breakfast shops outside don’t open so early. The hotel can consider the convenience of guests to prepare breakfast. Thumbs up! The next day, breakfast was delivered according to my reservation time, and my family was very satisfied!
The hotel rooms are all on the third floor, with green plant garden views. When I started booking, I thought the rooms were on the first floor, so I hesitated!

The environment is very good and quiet. It is my first time to go to Mount Emei and I don’t know anything about Jinding, but the hotel housekeeper will tell you how to book tickets and go up the mountain.
This is the first time I have stayed in any hotel, including many high-end hotels, that has hair drying caps, so it is very attentive and considerate.
The food in the hotel also tastes very good. The food is ordered in advance and the ingredients are very fresh. I took my children here for four days and three nights and I was very happy. I will visit again next time I come to Emei."

"This is a boutique homestay that I discovered by chance during my search. The environment is beautiful and the negative oxygen ion content is extremely high. The couple who run the homestay are warm and friendly. It feels like returning home, very kind. When I first arrived in the room on the first day, there was a faint scent of agarwood and logs, which surprised me. The welcome fruit snacks prepared are also my favorite. I really love it. Every morning, I wake up with the sound of gurgling water, walk to the balcony to overlook the beautiful hazy mountain scenery in the clouds, go out for a day, and return to the room at night to enjoy the private hot springs to relax, full of holiday atmosphere. The chef of the restaurant is also good at cooking, and the dishes ordered are very suitable for our taste. I especially want to mention the steamed egg prepared by Sister Liu for me for breakfast. Hahahaha, I like it so much. The whole journey is icing on the cake and it is particularly perfect."

"This hotel is in a very good location. It is on a small street next to the Huangwan Visitor Center in Mount Emei. It is a 5-6 minute walk from the visitor center. The hotel has a quiet and elegant environment. It is a good choice for vacation and travel. The hotel staff are warm and courteous and the receptionist is attentive. The guest room is large and the various furnishings are very unique. If I want to give this hotel 4.8 points out of 5, the only drawback is that some of the equipment in the room is faulty and cannot be used. This should be checked before allowing guests to check in. . But this is a small problem. I hope the hotel can improve this aspect. Overall, I don't recommend this hotel."

"When I stayed at the Mount Emei Viewing Hot Spring Hot Spring House, the overall experience was unforgettable.
First of all, the environment of the soup house is really beautiful.
Secondly, the facilities at the soup house were also great, the hot spring pool in the room was clean and comfortable, the water quality was very good when bathing, and there was a hot spring bath combination that allowed me to thoroughly relax my body and mind.
Furthermore, in terms of service, the staff was very friendly and helpful, carrying our luggage to the room for us, as well as fruit and pastries. Their enthusiasm made me feel at home and there was help available at any time to make my stay even better.
Finally, the cleanliness level, I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room, all the facilities were well maintained, which made me feel reassured and comfortable.
Overall, this post-stay experience was very pleasant, I highly recommend Mount Emei Viewing Hot Spring Hot Spring House, whether you are relaxing or enjoying the beautiful scenery, it is well worth a visit!"

GGuest UserI wish to do a fair review of my B&B stay at Emeishan.
Service was spectacular.
1) The hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off services from Emeishan Station (not to be confused with Emei Station), about 7-8 mins drive from the hotel. I communicated via WeChat which trains I would be on and let them know that my 1st train arrival was actually so that I could drop off my large suitcase at their place, before going backwards to Leshan for half a day, and then returning to Emeishan in the evening. Not only did they agree to send someone to the train station to pick-up, they agreed to pick up only my luggage without me needing to accompany. So I could add an additional hour to my Leshan trip. Then they came to the train station a 2nd time in the evening to pick me back to the hotel.
2) The hotel replies very very quickly on WeChat, as if monitoring it all the time.
3) The hotel could arrange ticket purchase of a show, Only Emeishan, at a price lower than what you find on the official website.
4) The hotel even left the suitcase in my room before my arrival.
5) When I told the hotel to skip preparing my breakfast as I was starting off at 7am the next day to go Emeishan (breakfast is 7.30am at the hotel), they offered to put some items into a plastic box for me to take along.
5-star service in terms of making arrangements!
They gave me a really large room, and I never used the bathtub with the bath herbs, but am thankful for the upgrade. Loved it that they gave 1 gigantic bottle of water and 2 smaller ones, showing their care for pple intending to climb Emeishan.
Please don't expect too much from what they call ”Afternoon Tea” included in your package. It is merely a small tray of dried/fresh fruit, so it wouldn't form a meal.
But I would not be fair to readers of reviews if I didn't give a balanced review.
a) The hardware is a bit tired. The wooden planks in the shower room are blackish, and there are water marks on the stone in the bathroom.
b) The power sockets are not at good locations. They are at the lower parts of a wall at a random spot and nothing near the bedside.
c) The lights in the room are not well-positioned.
d) There was an empty bottle below the wardrobe area when I first entered the room, which was missed even on the 2nd day.
e) As I'm not familiar with Emeishan, I also didn't know that 黄湾 area is not exactly the main activity area in Emeishan. That said, the hotel is a 5-7 min walk from the 黄湾 entrance/exit to Emeishan. I believe the Baoguo Temple entrance/exit would be more popular. There are several restaurants around the restaurant but the vast majority appear closed or are not occupied, so it doesn't feel very lively, whether day or night.
All in all, I would still recommend this hotel as they are family owned and run. The whole family depends on your support. Support local small business and give them a chance.

LLanJiangWe initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff.
When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough.
If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting.
A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance.
If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay.
A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.

PPurelandThere is room for improvements for pre-arrival communications with guests in English. The cake i received for my birthday is not nice, i would prefer to have a slice of good quality cake than a small cake which taste poor. Breakfast has met my expectations, wide in variety and good in taste, i especially liked the black stir fry noodles with vegetables. Egg station chef skills has to improve though - i didn’t like the taste of my customised scrambled eggs.
Love the variety of drinks selections - especially the grape juice!
Housekeeping forgot to put bath salts and one time use bathtub cover in our room.

Staff were **polite and efficient** during check-in/out. While there's no restaurant on-site, they offered good recommendations for nearby eateries. The **lobby has free coffee/tea** available all day.

The hotel has a pick-up service, so you don't have to worry about it. The hot spring is indoors, so you don't have to worry about the children catching a cold. It's good. The dolls are very happy. BBernicetjmXiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!

GGine HuiA small boutique hotel located next to the cable car station at the mountain top, next to the path where hikers and tourists will past by. It was therefore a bit noisy. It will take about 15 to 20 minutes to walk up to the Jinding temple.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean with basic amenities. It is a bit pricey for the room, I supposed it's advantage is the close proximity to Jinding. Breakfast (porridge, pickles, vegetables and buns) was provided free, simple but nice. Had dinner at their restaurant, the food was tasty, better than many restaurants around the foot of Emeishan that we have tried.

AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel is indeed good. It is very convenient if you want to watch the sunrise at the Golden Summit. It is only a ten-minute walk to the Golden Summit. However, the facilities are really not that good. It is too old. The mattress is an old Simmons and the hair dryer is also very old. The room is very small, the window is next to the corridor, and the outside sound can be heard clearly. There are not many choices on the golden roof, and the price is not cheap, but I am very lucky to see the sunrise.
