"We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel! The staff is extremely friendly and helped us with every question we had! The boss dropped us off at the train station to round up a perfect stay! The breakfast was varied and afterwards we got a taxi to go to Emeishan (from Baoguo Temple bus station)! If you look for a relaxing stay it is perfect, but it is about 20 minutes walking to the busy restaurant street."

Because we were on the high-speed train and didn't have dinner on the day we arrived, we arrived at the entrance of the alley very late and saw the boss waiting in the lights. "the stay was so so good! firstly, before our arrival date, the hotel contacted us on both trip.com & wechat, so our transport to the hotel from emeishan station was smooth. check-in was fuss free as well, and the front office lady xiaoshi was kind, warm, and gave us tips for our trip up emei. we could borrow the hanfu and took pictures in the yard and around the hotel. the facilities were clean, nice, and overall really cosy. breakfast was really good too. and if you prefer to go up the mountain earlier, the hotel will also prepare some light takeaways for you, and thats super thoughtful i’ve read reviews that the location was not as good as those around baoguo; but since we were travelling as a family, this place was peaceful, slightly quieter and very near huangwan visitor centre! To me this was equally as good as hotels that are around baoguo. the trip up emei mountain was quick and fuss free as well, since I got the tickets and boarded the bus from huangwan (about a 5-7 mins walk away from the hotel) which is not much different from baoguo. will definitely stay here again if im visiting this area :))"

"Service: First of all, we arrived at Emeishan Station at 9 a.m. and had booked the pick-up service in advance. The hotel butler came to pick us up in a business vehicle. Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience. Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service! Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay. Facilities: The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale. Location: About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient. Breakfast: Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting. Environment: The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall: The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied."

"The room was spacious, just as advertised. It's ideal for families, with a thoughtful welcome fruit platter. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive; they even came to pick us up when it rained. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. They also have hot springs and a swimming pool to enjoy. Overall, a very satisfying stay."

"This is an elegant homestay in the mountains, very suitable for retreat and relaxation. The entrance of the homestay is hidden, and the environment retains its original ecology. There are butterflies, bees or insects flying among the flowers and leaves in the forest. It is quite pleasant to sit in the rest area facing the rolling mountains, drinking tea and emptying your mind. I like the path leading to the guest room. Bamboos and various beautiful flowers and plants are planted on both sides of the stone steps, which has the artistic conception of winding paths. The guest room is very spacious, the Zen design has an atmosphere, the dim lights are comfortable, and the house is also cleaned very cleanly. The owner had already lit the incense before checking in, which is a nice and elegant fragrance. Because it rained before, the outdoor environment was relatively humid, but it felt dry and warm when entering the room. It turned out that the store had placed a small dehumidifier. This is a humanized configuration that we have never seen in many years of travel. I was quite moved. This B&B is run by several young people. They are very hospitable and friendly. You can choose to pick up or drop off at the station. They also help carry the heavy luggage and walk a long and bumpy road to the guest room. You can feel their efforts and sincerity in service. The food in the restaurant attached to the B&B tastes good and the portions are large."

"We visited in early April. The weather was just perfect – neither too cold nor too hot, although we couldn't see the rice paddies yet as it wasn't planting season. Hotel staff mentioned that rice is usually planted in May, so the fields are visible from July to September. However, they also noted that it's typically very crowded during summer vacation, with the hotel often fully booked. We were lucky enough to experience both sunny and overcast lake and mountain scenery during our stay. Even on cloudy days, the misty atmosphere was absolutely beautiful! The Pinecone Room feels more like an apartment, complete with a small kitchenette. The balcony and private garden directly face the lake, and it was wonderfully comfortable to sit out in the garden when the weather was good. The restaurant offered an extensive menu with delicious food. It's open until 9 PM. (On our check-in day, we tried ordering takeout to the hotel in the evening, but it wasn't very convenient – options were limited, and delivery fees were quite high.) The scenic area offers a shuttle service directly to the cafe. Alternatively, walking to the cafe isn't far and allows you to enjoy the scenery along the way. We opted to take the shuttle up and walk back down. A perfect experience! We were reluctant to leave even at check-out and will definitely be back again."

"The facilities were decent, featuring a swimming pool and hot springs. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful detail of providing hair ties on the first floor. Breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious, leaving me very satisfied. The cleanliness was excellent, and the overall environment was lovely. Service was also great. The only downside was that the TV wasn't working. Additionally, every time the light was switched on, the TV would automatically turn on at a very high volume. Despite this minor glitch, everything else was good, and I'm still very satisfied with my stay overall."

When you open the window, you can see two streams of mountain and water merging here and flowing down the mountain. The sound of rushing water is natural white noise. Maybe March is the off-season for tourism, so there are not many people in the hotel. The shop assistants are all locals and are very simple. We chat while eating. All in all, I was very satisfied with this trip"

"I was quite pleased with the room, and the service was excellent. Perhaps due to the mountainous surroundings, my child was bitten by an insect when entering the elevator. The staff acted very responsibly by quickly taking them to the hospital for medication. A little more attention to cleanliness details would make the hotel perfect. They also provided a ride to the high-speed rail station, and the driver was incredibly friendly and attentive, even helping with our luggage. While no place is absolutely perfect, their attitude towards resolving issues is what truly matters. We would definitely stay here again."
